30/12/2025: I went to this restaurant for Christmas lunch, and I must say I was a bit disappointed, partly because my expectations were high. I've been going to this place for a long time and I think it's truly exceptional, but this last time there were a few flaws.
The menu was a bit meager, the atmosphere wasn't adequately heated, and then when I asked for a sweet dessert wine, I was told it wasn't available (huh).
It's a shame, because I believe it's the little things that make the difference.
The quality and courtesy remain top-notch.

30/12/2025: It was a discovery, in early December 2025. We ate very well, and the service was attentive. The Ligurian focaccias on offer were also interesting. The place wasn't very heated, but those were also the days when the temperature dropped the fastest.

04/01/2026: We had a terrible experience... the first course was mussels, which smelled bad and tasted really bad, while the second course was a seafood risotto with lots of pieces of broken mussel shells inside the risotto, and it had no flavor at all.
The owner's response was (sorry, but that's part of the restaurant business).

Inside the cavatello with potatoes and mussels, there were exactly 3 small mussels that were covered in the flavor of the potatoes and ricotta, and in the risotto, there weren't just 3 small pieces, but many more inside the plate. We tried to avoid them, but it was no use.
01/01/2026: Delightful experience for New Year's Eve at Mamaioa. The cuisine was delicious, the wines excellent, the service perfect. All in a warm atmosphere. Definitely a place to stop by when coming to Lecco.

28/12/2025: Le Vent du Nord is the best Belgian brasserie in Milan (in fact, better than many brasseries I've tried in Belgium!): authentic cuisine, excellent moules-frites, a wide selection of Belgian beers, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Friendly and competent service, consistent quality, and excellent value. Perfect for a dinner with friends or a casual evening with excellent food and top-quality beer.

29/12/2025: A refined yet friendly atmosphere. The menu is seafood-based, specializing in regional Sardinian cuisine.
We had a family lunch with a 6-year-old daughter, and they were able to accommodate every request, including all food allergies (no gluten or dairy). They even provided gluten-free bread, all packaged. The mixed fish appetizer was delicious, and the seafood risotto was a dream.
Highly recommended.

14/02/2026: We had a dinner on 12 Feb and it was a €300 for 2 people. The food was good and the servers are helpful in general but it’s a really packed restaurant.
Regrettably, we were sharing most of the food except the oysters and my companion vomited seriously at night and being fatigue the day after.
We did have high expectations as it seems to be an extraordinary restaurant especially the seafoods but it terribly ruined our night and the last shopping day. It was really not a good experience and impression of our 1st visit to Milan.

I visited this restaurant at the invitation of friends.
I can only say it was a wonderful evening.
I ordered the sole, and the waiter brought it to the table, cleaning it in front of us with great graciousness. A simple, yet delicious dish.
To finish the meal, I ordered a persimmon. I was brought a majestic fruit, plump and sweet, sliced and topped with ice cream.
A magnificent experience.

We were very pleasantly surprised.
The food was delicious and the view was breathtaking, but I especially loved the service. Michele, the waiter, is empathetic and charming.

31/01/2026: Found by chance during a day spent in Milan, nice place, quiet atmosphere, tinted windows so much so that from the outside it seemed closed, food was good but not enough to justify the price charged in my opinion, excellent service in the dining room but personally I wouldn't return!!

The value is excellent, the food is good quality (I especially love the yeast-free pizza, which is delicious and super digestible!), and the service is attentive and friendly. We recommend it for a good meal in a quiet, welcoming location where you'll always feel welcomed with a smile. Another plus: there's parking nearby!
