10/05/2026: We had wanted to visit this osteria with its outstanding view for a long time. Finally, on May 9th, 2026! The ambiance was exceptional, and the two owners and hosts provided very attentive and personal service. The view over the southern part of Lake Garda was breathtaking. We had the seasonal tasting menu – and every single bite was an explosion of flavor. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality! 👌🙏🫶

01/05/2026: Beautiful entrance, large space, out-of-place modern art, good dishes but some poorly explained, very high prices. 6. I agree with what was written previously about water, coffee, and cover charge! Service was inattentive for the "height" of the place. I was left with crumbs on the table while another table was being cleaned, only because I was looking at the reviews and I was seen! I ordered a first course, brought in a large "bowl," for a place of this height, naaaaaaa! Place to review and revise the merits given previously!

16/06/2026: We ate there on two evenings, once for pasta and once for fish. The food was excellent, the portions were just right, the prices were perfectly reasonable, the service was very friendly, and the restaurant's location with its outdoor seating area is really lovely.

10/05/2026: Excellent food, cooked with heart and soul. Something for gourmets who appreciate quality. Portions are very generous and easily enough for two. The wine pairings are perfect for tantalizing your taste buds and leaving you wanting more. The service is very friendly, warm, attentive, and professional. You feel like you're in a Michelin-starred restaurant.

22/04/2026: The food was excellent! The service was very friendly, although the restaurant is a bit dimly lit since it has no windows. Nevertheless, it's a real hidden gem; the cuisine is far superior to comparable restaurants in the area.

07/07/2026: We visited Kapperi with our family and had a lovely table in the tastefully decorated courtyard. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the tables were generously spaced, and we were able to enjoy the evening in peace and quiet. We were particularly drawn to the restaurant because of its excellent reputation for gluten-free cuisine. And we weren't disappointed. The gluten-free pizza really set the bar very high for us. Both my wife and I agree that it was the best gluten-free pizza we've had so far at Lake Garda. The other dishes were also consistently of a very high standard. The beef tartare was outstanding, as was the swordfish. The wine selection also impressed us, and the desserts were excellent as well. The homemade tiramisu was delicious, and the ice cream was a big hit with our children. My father-in-law was especially impressed by the foie gras with caramelized onions. He travels to France regularly and said that this was among the best foie gras he has ever eaten. As we recall, the dish, at around €39, wasn't exactly cheap, but in his opinion, it was worth every penny. The service was also very friendly and always tried its best to understand and fulfill all our requests, despite the language barrier. If I had to offer a small suggestion for improvement, it would be this: Our server didn't seem very experienced. Wine glasses weren't automatically refilled, and empty bottles or used dishes sometimes remained on the table for a while, so we occasionally had to ask for things to be cleared away. A less cluttered table is especially pleasant when traveling with children. However, this is really nitpicking and should be taken as constructive feedback. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The high quality of the food, the lovely ambiance, and the very friendly service, in our opinion, justify the slightly higher price. We would gladly return and give it a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars.

24/05/2026: You arrive on the lakefront of Lake Lugano on the Italian side and can be reached from Como or Switzerland. I recommend going through the Ponte Tresa customs checkpoint from Italy (set your GPS for Ponte Tresa and then for Crotto to avoid a detour). If you're arriving from Switzerland, you'll arrive before Porlezza; from Italy, after Porlezza and the tunnel. The restaurant has two internal parking spaces, going down a short private road towards the lake and also above the road. The lake view from a seat is priceless, and the food is divine. Perch ravioli number one, pike number two, but everything was delicious, even the pistachio cream. Boat access is also available! With a private dock, divine desserts made by Pasticceria Italia in Porlezza. (go here too) We will DEFINITELY be back.

25/05/2026: Excellent restaurant for the freshness of the food, the simplicity of the cooking (I'm especially referring to the grilled fish), the wonderful location on the Strait of Lavena, and the courtesy of the staff. The last time I tried the French fries: out of this world! Prices are reasonable for the location. Thank you!

14/06/2026: Hoping we can use the outdoor seating. In bad weather, the place is small and you'll find yourself packed table after table. The waiters are always ready to take your plate away from you. It happened to me, I hadn't even finished lunch!

19/05/2026: This will be my twentieth time back at Oasi Rosa, and there must be a reason. Sure, quality comes at a price, but so does quantity. A platter of cured meats, mozzarella, and fried gnocco for two, eaten without any compromises by three. The Calabrian sausage was absolutely amazing, with fire inside! A 1,400kg Irish ribeye steak, a 400g ribeye, accompanied by baked potatoes, a breaded cutlet with chips for the youngest, beer, water, tiramisu, coffee, and a complimentary house liqueur... friendly, quick enough (considering it's always busy here), and the fact that it's always busy speaks volumes. The kindness even at the cashier, where they solved a small problem with exchanging money... Cheap? No. Will I go back? Definitely!!

25/05/2026: We visited on our first night in Milan and loved it so much we came back again for our last night in Milan. All meals were very tasty. Service was very good as well. A good find tucked away from the main strip near the Hard Rock Cafe

05/06/2026: A hidden gem in Sarnico, tucked away in a quiet private courtyard. We came for our last evening on Lake Iseo and it turned out to be the highlight of the trip. Everything is made in-house and you can taste it. We started with the venison tartare with mustard gelato, cocoa nibs and raspberry — a bold, surprising combination that absolutely works. The handmade casoncelli on Grana Padano fondue with crispy pancetta and white-wine pears were exceptional, the kind of dish you simply can’t recreate at home. For mains we had the Manzo all’olio di Rovato, a beautifully slow-cooked beef with porcini and soft polenta — rich, tender and full of flavour. We paired it all with a local Franciacorta, which was the perfect match. The staff were absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive and genuinely friendly from start to finish. Highly recommended.

28/05/2026: Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, helpful and fast waiter... the owner, however, was inhospitable and excessively insistent in informing us that the kitchen closed at 10:30 PM... information we certainly understood well after he told us five times. It should be noted that we had booked for 11 people, and five of them arrived around 10 PM due to a delay in transportation. I advise the owner to be more courteous with customers and, if necessary, pay the cooks overtime if it were necessary to go past the kitchen closing time... especially for a group of 11 people who left €627 there.
