27/04/2025: Our meal was really incredible. We previewed the menu online, and went in with a plan. For our antipasti, we chose oysters on the half shell. They were Fine de Clare No. 2's served with a red wine and shallot mignonette. Sweet in the front with just a little salt to finish. They present the oysters at the table with dry ice for a visually appealing "smoke show." We paired the oysters with a hot Scallops au Gratin, complete with green breadcrumbs. Not a second overdone! For Primo, we went big and shared the L'Ossobuco Di Vitello in Cremolata E Il Vero Risotto Alla Milanese. This is a staple of Milan cusine, and it was excuted to perfection. We split it, and they did a cool tableside presentation. There's meat was fork tender and loaded with flavor in every bite. For Secondi, we tried two fishes: the special of the day - Salmon served with pickled/ candied red onion and almond slivers. The salmon was butter and tasted soft on the tongue. The second fish was a traditional grilled branzini with small boiled potatoes and asparagus bites. Seasoned only with a little salt and pepper, they let the nature flavor of the fish shine through. We finished with two desserts, an apple tort and a pistachio cream. Both were an excellent end to the evening. Service was flawless. Management has organized a well-oiled machine that works perfectly in synchronization. The place was busy all evening. The main menu is on their website. Check it out. 24/04/2025: Vi opholdt os i 3 dage i Milano og skulle finde os et godt sted at spise aftensmad. Via Tripadvisor fandt vi frem til Osteria Mamma Roso, som ikke lå langt fra hvor vi boede. Det var en stor flot og hyggelig restaurant. Restauranten var velbesøgt, så vi måtte ventelidt inden vi fik et bord til 2. Da vi fik vores bord serverede tjeneren en lille "vente ret" og et menukort. Vi bestilte mad - vinen kunne bestilles i halve flasker, Maden vi bestilte kom relativt hurtigt og blev serveret af en dygtig tjener. Super oplevelse på alle måder. Da vi tog derfra bestilte vi bord til næste aften også

05/06/2025: A very friendly welcome. We got a nice seat right away despite not having a reservation. The service was very friendly and competent. We got the delicious pizzas very quickly. The dessert was also delicious. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

28/05/2025: I had already been to this restaurant and I had a great time. This evening I went back and unfortunately it was not up to par. Poor and uncommunicative service. Tuscan sliced ​​appetizer cut with the slicer and the burrata was little more than a cherry of mozzarella. The pasta was raw, the mussels were very small and without adequate hand towels, the spaghetti with clams and borage were something else compared to those served. The dessert was good. But the lack of attention to customers. I am very sorry but the rating for this dinner is not sufficient.

22/05/2025: Not because they are friends but here you feel at home because the environment is simple like the people who work there. The desserts and pasta are homemade and the desserts are absolutely my favorite part. Personally I always let myself be advised and the meat and fish are always exceptional. Also the pizza is very good otherwise the pizza chef gets offended!

06/06/2025: They served me a Milanese steak without fries or anything else, which I could eat in two bites, and they charged me €8.50. However, my partner ordered a pasta for €7, and it was very good. What they earn on the swings, they lose on the slides. Since we didn't have a reservation, even though there were several tables available, they sent us to eat at the bar. The bar chairs are horrible. And the staff is a bit harried, but the service is more or less okay.

04/06/2025: One of the worst experiences in 4 years of visiting Italy. The waiters almost make you beg for a place. They don’t even bother to talk to you. Of course, if you’re a tourist. With the Italians, they behaved differently. The food is good, but it’s not worth putting up with their attitude. I highly recommend avoiding this place. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this is one of the easiest ever. Their attitude was incredibly bad.

01/05/2025: Non c’ero mai stato prima e devo dire che è stata una piacevole sorpresa. In un piccolo cortile interno, lontano dalla calca del lungo lago, si respira un’aria di tranquillità, tranquillità trasmessa anche dal personale, gentile e professionale. Hanno piatti sia di terra che di lago/mare, tutti (quelli che abbiamo provato) di qualità, senza condimenti eccessivi che coprono i sapori delle materie prime. I prezzi, vista la location, sono più che onesti. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

13/05/2025: E' stata una grande delusione : dopo tanti anni siamo tornati per festeggiare il compleanno di mia figlia che vive da anni in Inghilterra e ha scelto questo posto per riunire 15 parenti . La posizione è veramente bella , la giornata era soleggiata e tutto faceva pensare a una piacevole riunione familiare. Peccato che il pessimo servizio abbia reso alquanto sgradevole il pranzo : lentezza e distrazione , piatti serviti in tempi diversi ai commensali , uno addirittura quando tutti ormai avevano finito di pranzare ( si erano dimenticati di comunicarlo in cucina ). Per il prezzo che si paga è' inaccettabile un disservizio simile . I piatti sono buoni , ma niente di eccezionale , una variazione al menu per una persona allergica al pesce ha comportato una bistecca di carne di bassa qualità , grassa e legnosa . Non ci torneremo più .

09/05/2025: Qui ho festeggiato il Compleanno con il mio compagno! Posto elegante e raffinato una vera bomboniera. Il pesce è protagonista della cucina , proprio perché Antonella ( la proprietaria davvero gentile e disponibile ) è della splendida Capri! Una proposta gastronomica molto sincera e genuina che porta in tavola l’eccellenza del pescato e le tradizioni gastronomiche dell’Isola di Capri. Assolutamente da provare i loro vini , oltre 200 etichette e Gin List con oltre 15 .proposte di Gin artigianali italiani. Complimenti è stato un compleanno da Favola!

19/05/2025: Refined restaurant in the San Siro area. Beautiful location with the possibility of eating both inside and outside. Carefully prepared dishes with good raw materials. Kind and friendly staff, a special mention for the waitress who was friendly and helpful. Wine list with the possibility of having prestigious bottles. Average prices. The bar counter is very characteristic.

The place is not very convenient for strollers given the steps inside the place. Very kind staff. Bill more or less in line with the offer received.

18/05/2025: Nice place, few tables but very large and comfortable. The intimacy of the place allows the staff to be very present. Professional, fast and very courteous. We ate tagliolini with venison salmi sauce, one word: ecstasy. The pasta is made by them and the sauce is sublime. Combining the two things makes a high-level dish. Compliments to all the staff. If you are in the area, it is worth stopping by. We will definitely be back.
