21/01/2026: We had dinner at this small, welcoming, and modern restaurant. The fish was very fresh. To start, I had a mix of beautifully presented raw fish, truly excellent and delicate. Next up were two seafood entrees: tonnarello allo scoglio (tonnarello with seafood) and gnocchi with courgette flowers and clams, both of which were also excellent. Finally, a house dessert: a profiterole and a delicious lemon sorbet to finish. The owner is truly kind and friendly, as is her staff. The place is very clean. Prices are reasonable. I recommend stopping here! 👈

19/01/2026: Quattro Monete is a decent restaurant in the heart of Rome, with well-executed dishes but nothing truly memorable. The food is good, with no negative surprises, but the prices seem disproportionate to what's offered: it's not a rip-off, but it doesn't justify the price tag when there are nearby alternatives within the same budget that offer more in terms of quality and originality. Personal experience The service leaves a bit to be desired, slow and inattentive, which further lowers the overall standard despite the lovely ambiance. From what I remembered and what I'd been told, it used to be a great value, but now that charm seems to have faded: it's sufficient for an unpretentious dinner, but I wouldn't rush back. Practical advice • Opt for the classic Roman dishes, which are more satisfying. • Go if you're in a hurry or in the area, but shop around: you'll find more exciting options for the same price. All in all, a little too close to the mark to leave disappointed, but no wow factor.

22/12/2025: Pizzeria just steps from Piazza Bologna, a few minutes' walk from the metro station. The spacious restaurant offers plenty of seating and a wood-fired oven. The menu offers appetizers, fried foods, and traditional Roman pasta dishes, as well as various pizzas. The dishes are truly inviting, prepared with top-quality ingredients. Try the Instagrammable tiramisu, served in a pot, like a plant with soil. Prices are average for the neighborhood. Recommended.

28/02/2026: Nice dishes if you looking for seafood. It’s hard to find in Rome places like this so once founded keep it like a treasure! Everything was delicious. Don’t be tricked by the entrance of the restaurant because looks like a Bettola ( tavern) from the 80s’ and you are tempted to leave without come in. Food it’s good.

08/02/2026: This was really a hidden gem. The staff consists of young people. Maybe what they lack in experience, they overcome with the attitude and nice smile. The food is exactly what you expect from italian restaurant (although this is not the ristorante). Definitelly coming back next time I am in Rome :)

10/12/2025: The atmosphere is refined but nothing special, with old-fashioned service that focuses on "I'll make it for everyone" with raw fish for everyone, well... spaghetti with clams with half a plate full of oil and 9 clams counted. Honest wine list.

19/12/2025: Given that I'm local and there isn't much choice when it comes to after-dinner drinks, Stadlin has been offering this service for years, along with many others like breakfast, lunch, dinner, birthdays, etc. What's the problem? 1) The staff, inexperienced young people who get lost among the tables, don't understand orders, both due to language difficulties and superficiality/speed (it's quicker to get up and order directly at the counter). 2) The crowds inside don't even allow access to the bathroom, not to mention the social class that approaches this place as if we were in northern Rome: snobbish, arrogant, and with oversized egos, I'll throw one of you across the bar at times!! That said, these are the things that bartenders do when the drinks are much better elsewhere. Too much chit-chat and not enough seriousness; chatter with friends is done outside the workplace. 3) I forgot... the prices are also from northern Rome!!! I have to say that the blond dwarf did a great job with his father's money, but a book cover doesn't do justice to its value (wonderful architecture, kudos to the surveyor and architect who designed it).

16/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, unparalleled value for money. Very good food, friendly, and fast service. The only downside is that parking is difficult to find.

11/01/2026: We had 2 excellent raw fish dishes, a risotto with scampi cream and excellent scampi cream ravioli!
