10/06/2025: We went to dinner at this restaurant last night... and we had a great time! One of the few quality restaurants where the portions are really generous! In short, in addition to eating well, you eat a lot here! Everything was delicious... I had a porcini mushroom risotto that was really delicious! Then we were served by a waiter with glasses whose name I don't remember who was super kind and really knowledgeable! I have to say one of the most competent waiters I've ever met! Finally (this is not a criticism but a pleasant consideration) the place aesthetically has remained in the 80s/90s... it seemed like I was back when I went on holiday with my grandparents! In short, highly recommended, go there!

16/07/2025: I went to Osteria Flaminio and was truly satisfied. The Italian cuisine is excellent: I tried a well-made carbonara, delicious pulled chicken meatballs with peppers, and roasted potatoes, which, unfortunately, I couldn't finish simply because I was already full. That's why I didn't order dessert, but I'll gladly return to make up for it! The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, polite, and friendly. The atmosphere is very welcoming, although the wait was a bit long. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, even large groups: there's a dedicated room perfect for socializing.

13/07/2025: We arrived at this place recommended by our hotel. We were greeted by Mrs. Monica, a fantastic person. We immediately felt at ease. We sat down, and shortly after, they came to take our order. I'm gluten and lactose intolerant, and I ate wonderfully. The carbonara was spectacular, along with amazing meatballs and top-notch cured meats. I had some leftovers and took them home. The portions are generous, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Go there, guys.

28/05/2025: Charming old-world hotel with spacious, quiet rooms and excellent service. The breakfast had good variety and room service was very quick. Special thanks to Simone and Alex for outstanding service. Pros: Quiet neighbourhood closer to Villa Borghese with excellent restaurants nearby, free minibar, convenient parking (€25, 5-min walk). Cons: WiFi was weak and slow, breakfast could use more fresh vegetables, not all rooms have handheld shower heads. Tip: Request one of the three terrace rooms on the top floor if available - perfect for relaxing with the outdoor space. Would stay again for the service and atmosphere!

Luca and the great Pietro (creator of a fantastic minestrina and thanks again for your availability) are able to make anyone feel at ease... the quality of the food can't even be said FRESH FISH IS FRESH, but every time it's a pleasant surprise. The potato soup, bacon, mussels, prawns, an explosion of flavours, the first courses are always excellent and the grilled food is really, really good... the divine desserts, the cassola and the zabaglione dessert with vermouth from FEAR GOOD CELLAR WITH AN EXCELLENT SAUVIGNON LA BUSE FROM LOF. 09/06/2025: I only find the time today, Monday, to leave my review of the lunch I had with my wife on Saturday at this restaurant. I would like to start by saying that we found the quality of the dishes more than satisfactory, and we also really liked the atmosphere. As soon as we arrived, however, we immediately told the waitress that we had to avoid carbohydrates, which is quite easy to do in a fish restaurant. We ordered a trio of tartares as an appetizer. When it arrived, we noticed that the tuna tartare (one of the three) was served on a bed of potatoes. So to make sure, we asked the waitress if they were actually potatoes, even though we had already consumed the other two tartares in the meantime. The waitress very kindly told us that we were right, apologized, and told us that she would have it redone immediately. Shortly after, a new trio of tartares arrived, this time without potatoes with the tuna, but also with the other two tartares that we had already consumed in the first course. I pointed out to her that she could have changed just the tuna, but she told us not to worry. The rest of the lunch continues normally, very good grill. I pay the bill and leave. However, shortly after, I had a doubt, I checked the bill and noticed that I had been charged for both trios of tartare. Now it is not a question of money, and besides, it is not my habit to check the bill before paying it. However, if I had known that to change just one part of the dish (which, moreover, having specified the need, should have been advised against from the beginning due to the presence of potatoes), I would have had to pay for a second one in full, when it was the waitress herself who took our plate away to change it on her own initiative, I would have certainly told her to leave it alone, and maybe I would have ordered another dish. I would have preferred a little more clarity and attention. For the rest, I confirm my good impression.

20/05/2025: I stopped by on the fly and didn't have much time, I ate a first course with very fresh fish and I found a beautiful environment with super staff. It's true that nowadays one cannot invent a restaurateur, and when you eat at Officina del Pesce you realize that class is not water! Even with a simple first course. I also had a dessert, tiramisu, needless to say it was a dream! Compliments to the staff and owners who manage this marvel. Thank you, I will come back to visit you with much more calm.

12/07/2025: Italy has great food, Mimmo’s has extraordinary food, in addition to exceptional service. Mimmo’s son served us and he was so delightful. He was bantering with his mom who was an absolute goddess. We felt so at home, like part of their family/community. We were a party of 3, so we tried the specials and everyone ordered something different so we could share. The food was really off the charts and despite strong competition over 10 days in Italy- that night was the best!

Cucina sarda di qualità, pesce soprattutto ma anche carne e pizza, tutto buonissimo. Servizio attento e cordiale, dopo poco ti senti a casa. Arredato in maniera particolare con oggetti vintage. Prezzi giusti e il mirto a fine pasto è la ciliegina sulla torta!
