14/05/2025: Pedimos pulpo. Nos trajeron seis rodajas de salami de pulpo frío, pequeñas porciones a un precio elevado. Puede haber una selección de vinos, había un montón, pero llegamos en coche, y no bebimos alcohol.

13/05/2025: I'll be back! I was in 2023 and I'll be back in May/June because the structure, although not attached to the historic center of Trieste, is wonderful. Good breakfast, sea view... internal parking, large room and the bathroom is wonderful. What peace. Excellent service.

20/06/2025: Do you want to eat really bad food and have a really bad experience? Yes, then you have to come to Trattoria da Gino. Warm white wine. Smelly fish (rotten?). The Milanese without salt. They bring you the food cold. You have to wait almost an hour to eat. The service is terrible. A Milanese without salt costs €15, a cold grilled mixed fish dish €24, a warm house white wine €16, a cold, smelly grilled fish €25, a fusilli with Bolognese sauce was not available, but it was on the menu. The cover costs €2.50, and a half-liter of sparkling water is €3.50... a rip-off no matter how you look at it. Dear people, do not come to this place! They don't know how to cook, and they don't know how to serve.

20/06/2025: Our last evening at Mare Pineta, we wanted to go close and to try out Trattoria da Gino and got a huge deception. We ordered mussels as antipasti and got it together with all the other plates. Mussels arrived cold and with a strong unpleasant fishy smell. We also had mixed fish grill, a branzino fish and milanesa with pommes. All the plates were missing the taste, spices and salt. Throughout the eating nobody came to ask if everything was all right. We looked ourselves for salt, to make the plates eatable. We tried to eat and to enjoy it, but there was actually no way. Also, we wanted to order fussili with ragu for the children, but the waitress told us, there is no fussili anymore. We asked for linguine or spaghetti, she said, sorry, there is no pasta at all. Very strange. The neighbour tables had linguine brought to the table, so how come we couldn't get no pasta for children and hat to order untasty milanesa with pommes. All together we paid 93 euros (mussels got of the invoice), but still lot to pay, for no taste at all. The one good thing though is the nice garden and all the playground for the children. That was nice, but only this. What a bad memory for the last evening here in Sistiana.

25/11/2024: Probablemente uno de los mejores restaurantes de la ciudad. La comida es más que excelente, el lugar es simple y submlty sofisticado al mismo tiempo, los precios son realmente bajos, el servicio es excelente y los vinos de la región son una increíble buena sorpresa. Sin duda una joya "escondida" en el centro de la hermosa Trieste. El lugar debe ser parte de dos o más días de visita en la ciudad.

06/04/2025: I dreamed of coming to eat in this wonderful place which I believe is envied by numerous locations, however the menu greatly disappointed me: we ordered cod fritters which only tasted like potatoes, however good, the tagliatelle with squid ink were inedible, the Lombard steak was too spicy and we couldn't feel the flavor of the meat, the grilled vegetables: only the peppers were good, the zacapa liqueur should be served with walnuts, chocolate, and raisins, instead it was brought to us with a glass not even suitable for this type of liqueur, the opinion is negative, I will never go back there again, but it's a shame because the view is truly wonderful and magical, I'm sorry

17/05/2025: Wir waren diesmal sehr enttäuscht wir waren in den letzten 2 Jahren 2x hier und es war jedes Mal exzellent - heuer war es komplett anders; - das Menüangebot war überhaupt nicht attraktiv - die Saucen schmeckten wie aus der Konserve - die Kalbsrippe bestand aus 2 Knochen ohne Fleisch - Antipasti waren nur üppig ohne Geschmack positiv zu erwähnen ist der sehr freundliche und kompetente Service Mitarbeiter und der nette Platz neben dem Kamin wir hatten am Tag zuvor in einer Trattoria in der Nähe zum halben Preis 3x so gut gegessen schade!

15/05/2025: in una location fantastica il ristorante è curato e gestito egregiamente. L'accoglienza strepitosa di Francesco ha fatto fin da subito la differenza. I sapori di ogni piatto erano perfettamente bilanciati e gli ingredienti incredibilmente freschi. Il personale, Filippo in particolare, ha fatto di tutto per rendere memorabile la nostra esperienza culinaria. Sono stati attenti senza essere invadenti. Francesco era estremamente informato sul menu e ci ha offerto ottimi consigli, i nostri bicchieri non erano mai vuoti, seguendo un percorso logico e studiato in abbinamento alle pietanze che prontamente ci servivano. Il risotto strepitoso! I bambini sono stati serviti molto rapidamente nonostante le diverse richieste. Questo posto offre una vera e propria esperienza culinaria raffinata!

Lunch was excellent, with very fresh and well-cooked fish. If we have the chance, we will definitely return with pleasure! 😊

16/02/2025: Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Sono una cliente assidua e apprezzo molto che il menù cambi di stagione in stagione, c'è sempre qualcosa di nuovo da provare! Crudi spaziali, antipasti intriganti, pesce sempre di qualità con abbinamenti inaspettati ma squisiti. L'arredamento colorato e ricco di chicche del design è caloroso, un piacere per gli occhi. La lista vini ha una vasta scelta del territorio ma la proposta delle bolle.....SUPER! Impossibile non tornarci!

03/06/2025: I eat here very often. The staff is friendly and polite, the service is fast both at the cashier and at the table and the food is good, the pizza is recommended. Great location near the banks and generally quite quiet. One flaw is that they don't have references to any scudetto among the decorations.

03/06/2025: Che dire, eccellente! Location splendida in riva al mare con vista sul golfo di Trieste e il castello di Miramare; antipasti ottimi, come primo la calamarata è veramente buona, eccellenti i fritti per non parlare del pesce al forno, una garanzia! Buono il vino sfuso della casa ma anche la scelta delle varie etichette locali (Kante, Sancin, Lis Neris per citarne qualcuna). Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo veramente. Bisogna prenotare con largo anticipo e fare molta attenzione alla strada che ti porta dalla strada costiera fino giù al ristorante, molto stretta e dissestata, se ha piovuto evitatela perchè diventa a tratti scivolosa, meglio scendere a piedi.

19/01/2025: Man sitzt mit Blick aufs Meer. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht, die Fisch- und Pasta-Gerichte sind gut und frisch, der Service ist jederzeit präsent. Ein Geheimtipp!
