01/03/2026: Unfortunately, it's gotten worse in many ways. The atmosphere remains nice, but the service is a bit too improvised, with wait times that are too long even for Trieste standards. The food quality is definitely low. In my case, the tuna tataki tasted rancid and overcooked, perhaps to hide its awful flavor. The worst thing, however, is the handling of this complaint. The waitress, the only one who really puts in the effort, comes back from the kitchen and reports the chef's verdict: "The tuna is fine as it is, but if you want, I'll make you something else." If this is the quality, it's better to say no thanks. The dish was returned to the kitchen as it arrived, obviously at full price. We won't see you again.

21/02/2026: We went there about ten days ago with a friend. It was a Wednesday evening, and there were no tables in the restaurant except for us. The guy was polite, although he could use a bit of a raise in his voice. The food was decent... The midges at the table ended the evening by keeping us warm. I'd describe it all as: "I want to, but I can't." Too bad, we had much higher expectations.

The location is absolutely stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff was some of the friendliest, most professional, and genuinely kind I’ve ever encountered anywhere. It’s all worthy of the highest praise, a solid 10 out of 10. We’re already looking forward to coming back, whether for lunch or just to stop by for the best coffee I’ve ever had. 27/07/2025: La prima volta per me e mia moglie. In occasione del nostro anniversario abbiamo ricevuto in dono due voucher di questo locale, prima sconosciuto. I voucher erano per due menù degustazione "Casanova" con vini abbinati. Località, panorama e location veramente notevoli. Veniamo accolti dal Signor Francesco con sapiente ed affabile "savoir faire". All'inizio del pranzo tempi un pò lunghetti per la prima portata. Piatti originali con materie prime di elevata qualità cotte alla perfezione e presentate ancor meglio. Vini eccezionali....peccato aver dovuto lasciare buona parte causa "timori patente". Nel complesso tutto benone. Locale di livello. Da ritornarci sicuramente.

25/12/2025: The food was good, but three hours for three courses was a bit long. We waited an hour for our appetizer, and the place was practically empty. After another hour, and after repeatedly asking to please continue with lunch, we were served our first course. We made it clear we had to leave and asked for an early main course, which arrived after almost forty-five minutes. We left without dessert or coffee.

25/08/2025: A disappointment. The scallops au gratin were three half-scallops, a bit of breadcrumbs on top, and no seasoning whatsoever. The ravioli, which were supposed to have shrimp sauce, were instead filled with cherry tomatoes and zucchini (if I order one thing, I don't see why something completely different should arrive). The desserts (obviously packaged) were dry. The service was questionable; four waitresses twiddling their thumbs, the dining room with only a few tables occupied, and they couldn't even bring the dishes more or less all at once. On top of that, you had to wait forever for everything, be it a piece of bread or a coffee. The bill... exorbitantly high. There were at least three people in the dining room, two brunettes and a pseudo-blonde, one of whom spoke rather broken Italian. If the desserts are homemade, I'm Santa Claus. Besides, those were the least of the problem, since they tasted good anyway. 🤣 Anyone who had a bad experience and had the courage to write about it was in the "wrong place." Luckily, you went bankrupt, or you would have had to find new answers for the reviews.

10/07/2025: Ordered at 9:20 PM on Deliveroo. At around 11 PM, I received a notification that the order had been cancelled. I called the restaurant to explain, but they didn't answer. Shame on me.

30/09/2025: I also pointed out to the staff that charging half a liter of cask wine (€17) (which is not even listed on the menu they deliver) undermines any rating. I wouldn't have had anything else to say about the food... but unfortunately, that's enough for the overall rating.

23/09/2025: I'm writing a review of the evening of July 12th with another couple and five children, which cost €412. Two appetizers and two first courses shared between the adults, two first courses, a fried dish, and I don't remember what for the children. I was definitely disappointed with one of the first courses, which surprisingly had undercooked pasta. The appetizer was a dish divided into five tastings... The first course was sea urchins... I'm sorry, but I had eaten the same dish in Calabria a week earlier, and the comparison was devastating. Desserts were definitely a positive note... During dinner, I asked for the wine list... I waited 10 minutes and had to ask for one of the wines I remembered reading so as not to wait any longer. We all know prices have gone up; one would expect at least a higher quality equivalent. I'm sorry, but at this place, the price wasn't up to par.

02/09/2025: Good evening, I went to dinner at this restaurant with my wife, and the location, along with the kindness of the staff, made us feel at ease and enjoyed a lovely evening. Furthermore, the dishes are excellent, and the Sicilian chef's desserts live up to the description. We'll be back 👍

05/01/2026: Un’esperienza surreale e profondamente spiacevole, che va ben oltre una semplice “brutta serata”.Già prima del nostro episodio, la stessa cameriera stava urlando contro altri clienti, visibilmente fuori controllo, arrivando a sbattere oggetti e creare un clima di forte tensione all’interno del locale.Poco dopo, a seguito di una semplice richiesta fatta con educazione da mia madre, la situazione è degenerata: la cameriera ha iniziato a urlare contro di noi, arrivando a dire testualmente“Stai zitta stronza, vaffanculo.”A quel punto ci siamo rivolti al proprietario per cercare di riportare la calma e comprendere cosa stesse accadendo. La risposta è stata ancora più grave:“Fai stare zitta questa merda umana.”Nessuna provocazione, nessun comportamento scorretto da parte nostra. Solo aggressioni verbali, insulti e totale mancanza di controllo.

22/08/2025: If you can feel and taste the sea more 50 km away than if you were sitting at a beach restaurant, then this place simply deserves 5 stars.

12/08/2025: We spontaneously stopped by for lunch. The spaghetti vongole was simply fantastic, along with a bottle of house wine—that's what lunch should be like. The landlady knows how to make guests happy, and she's an excellent cook.
