02/03/2025: Low quality/price ratio, long waiting times (1 hour between starter and first course!!!). Gnocchi with cuttlefish unpresentable and full of pepper, ravioli not bad but the pasta not well cooked, seafood pasta with very little pasta. Heavy, greasy and difficult to digest fried food. Sin!

10/03/2025: Ate very well. We always eat there when we are at the mussel festival in Lignano. Have never been disappointed so far.

04/03/2025: It was September, but I don't remember what year it was. However, I remember the place very well. We had dinner and enjoyed tasting their best specialties. Kindness and friendliness integrated well into the hospitable and well-kept environment. I must add that in general these Friulian places have accentuated tourist accommodation qualities. Thanks to those who share me.

25/01/2025: The hotel is a bit dated but well kept, there is room for improvement. However, it is more than sufficient. The associated restaurant is a bit far from the hotel on foot.

15/11/2024: Decent hotel, quiet area, lots of greenery around (the garden is fantastic, too bad it isn't used), and with a small private car park. The room was very simple and a little dated but functional. The atmosphere and decoration of the common areas with vintage photos and decorations is beautiful and particular. The choice and quality of breakfast is decent overall, it's a shame that when we went down at eight o'clock the chocolate croissants were already finished and were not replaced.

06/01/2025: Hotel and restaurant in a superlative location with a terrace overlooking the sea, but unfortunately our room - like some of the hotel rooms - was right next to the main road in Trieste, so there was a lot of traffic and too much noise even at night. Not suitable for those looking for a quiet place to sleep in peace. Breakfast served on the terrace with a sea view, with a choice of food and drinks to be made the day before with a special list given at the reception. Value for money not positive as the cost is very high if proportionate to the services provided. Very small room with ordinary furnishings.

18/01/2025: I was alone on a trip to Muggia and wanted to eat something. I ate a very good Jacob's mussel in the Osteria and a very, very good spaghetti with Vongole mussels. Inexpensive and very good.

23/03/2025: Interesting place suitable for large events but not only. The well-arranged interior with individual tables, which when joined become large tables. Kind and knowledgeable staff who present you with the menu divided between meat and fish. Then the pizzeria, with a wide choice of flavors, including pizza and gluten-free beer. The interior is spacious, even people with disabilities can go around in wheelchairs, better if accompanied. Outside a large parking lot, I did not see highlighted spaces, I did not see spaces dedicated to disabled people, you park randomly. I ate a pizza, good, crunchy, I drank a high-quality lager beer. Recommended, four stars. Too bad the parking is so-so.

05/11/2024: Lunch for 8 after visiting the Castle. Perhaps, in November it is usually closed and these days of spring sunshine have induced them to keep it open, the fact is that, having sat down at 1.30pm, we were served at 2.45pm. We heard diners around us complaining for the same reason. First of all, both the spaghetti with clams and the cavatelli with sauce were literally crunchy, anything but al dente. Extremely poor mixed fried food: although we had ordered three, we ate very little. Ditto for the three grilled fish: if I ask for 3 (25 euros each) I expect three of everything to arrive, not a bit like it happens to be divided between the three diners. Eight of us brought us just one bag of bread with 5 wheels of baguettes. The whole thing, 256 euros. We paid for the sea view.

19/02/2025: Location carina ma prezzi troppo alti. Pizze secche e non a livello. Purtroppo non consiglio. Aggiungo, nuovamente purtroppo, lo sgradevole puzzo di un paio di camerieri, probabilmente pakistani. Nulla contro ma...un po' di sapone e un normale deodorante avrebbero sicuramente evitato il tutto.

25/02/2025: Rustic atmosphere and homemade food. They have that type of dish from which they don't deviate and the waitress practically "forced" me to eat spaghetti with clams which still turned out to be good. The frico was also good, better than many other places. The sore point is the old man inside, I think the owner, who railed against someone all the time and then at the end of lunch he even made a disrespectful joke towards a small child, the daughter of a girl who was at our table. Tolerated because he is elderly. Spartan environment and honest prices.

16/03/2025: Excellent fish tavern in the center of TRIESTE. Friendly, friendly and pleasant staff. Simple but good and tasty dishes. I'll be back!

15/03/2025: The type of menu and the courses have an optimal quality-price ratio. However, what would make me desist from returning is the type of absolutely impersonal service, abandoning those present when the waiter/waitress appears to ask for a bottle of water or a coffee. It's a shame because the preparations are excellent and the environment, although not sophisticated, is clean and welcoming. The creamed cod, the sardines in saor and the fish soup are plentiful and tasty. If a person wants to eat fish at a cheap price but without discounts on quality, this is the right place, if they are looking for a place to party in the evening, change destination. Compliments to the chef.
