07/06/2026: I am leaving this review not because of the food, but because of the blatantly false information this restaurant presents regarding its operating hours. They explicitly advertise that they are open continuously until 23:00. Relying on this information, we planned to eat here, only to arrive and find the doors locked and the place completely shut down at 14:00. I completely understand that many restaurants in Italy close in the afternoon for a few hours—that is a normal local custom. However, the issue here is the false advertising. Unlike other trustworthy restaurants in the area that honestly post their split hours (for example, 12:00-14:30 and 19:00-23:00) so you can plan accordingly, this place simply lies about being open all day. It is incredibly frustrating to go out of your way as a customer only to be left hungry because a business can't be bothered to update their actual schedule online or on their front door. Save yourself the trip and give your money to a restaurant that respects its customers' time and provides accurate information.

07/06/2026: Food was very good, ambiance very nice, like all restaurants in the area. We chose this restaurant because it was described online as child-friendly (children's menu, play area, etc.). This is no longer the case; service seemed curt.

06/07/2026: Passing through Trieste, 10 years after our first visit, we decided to stop at this trattoria again. A casual restaurant, suitable for everyone, with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent mixed antipasto, amazing scampi and truffle gnocchi, and high-quality fried food. A guarantee!

06/07/2026: A delicious spaghetti with clams paired with a glass of local Friulian wine. Enjoy it all on the shaded terrace with the sea breeze.

14/04/2026: A very beautiful location from the outside, but rather anonymous inside. We had a tasting menu, with beautiful, but above all delicious, dishes. Extensive and interesting wine list, prompt and unobtrusive service.

13/04/2026: After months of wanting to try this restaurant, I finally went for a romantic dinner. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, especially the service and the cold, disorganized location, which didn't match the culinary offerings we found superb. We had reported lactose intolerance in both of us about a week in advance, but at the dinner table, this information was effectively ignored. The menu offered only one lactose-free option and there was very little willingness to adapt dishes (our requests were simple exclusions, not complex modifications). The most absurd moment was dessert: even though we knew we couldn't have them, we were still served a small pastry "offered," specifying that it contained lactose. An incomprehensible gesture. It's a shame, because with a little more attention—even just preparing a simple alternative (e.g., dark chocolate)—the experience would have been completely different.

23/07/2026: I went to this restaurant with my wife on a Friday in July and ordered a mixed fish appetizer and two seafood spaghetti dishes. The food was poor quality and lacked any character, as well as extremely expensive. We were disappointed all Saturday, unable to touch any food. I won't be returning; it's a shame because the food used to be decent.

25/03/2026: The hotel, structured like a motel in the American sense of the term, is entirely on the ground floor, with each unit featuring a private entrance and a slatted wooden fence. The units with a sea view offer a pleasant view. The rooms are standard, equipped with a TV, mini-fridge, linear furniture, and a bathroom with a large, functional shower. Breakfast is served in the adjacent restaurant, subject to reservation the evening before using a pre-printed sheet listing the available foods. In my case, the reception staff did their best to provide vegan and gluten-free options, packaged croissants, and specialty bread. However, despite advance restaurant reservations and the request for vegan-gluten-free options, it appears that this information was not communicated to the restaurant staff or kitchen. The only option offered was gluten-free pasta with tomato sauce and vegetables (€18) and gluten-free bread. Despite this, the restaurant was very nice, clean, and had a pleasant sea view. The reception staff, the hotel cleaning lady, and the breakfast lady were particularly kind, helpful, and smiling.
