25/03/2026: The hotel, structured like a motel in the American sense of the term, is entirely on the ground floor, with each unit featuring a private entrance and a slatted wooden fence. The units with a sea view offer a pleasant view. The rooms are standard, equipped with a TV, mini-fridge, linear furniture, and a bathroom with a large, functional shower.
Breakfast is served in the adjacent restaurant, subject to reservation the evening before using a pre-printed sheet listing the available foods. In my case, the reception staff did their best to provide vegan and gluten-free options, packaged croissants, and specialty bread.
However, despite advance restaurant reservations and the request for vegan-gluten-free options, it appears that this information was not communicated to the restaurant staff or kitchen. The only option offered was gluten-free pasta with tomato sauce and vegetables (€18) and gluten-free bread.
Despite this, the restaurant was very nice, clean, and had a pleasant sea view.
The reception staff, the hotel cleaning lady, and the breakfast lady were particularly kind, helpful, and smiling.

10/01/2026: I'd like to give it 6 stars, but alas, it's impossible. It's a refined and elegant place. We were in the area and discovered it by chance, but we couldn't have been luckier. The service was welcoming and professional. The food was absolutely incredible. The creamed cod melted in your mouth, and the "capannina" appetizer was truly excellent. For our first course, we tried the paccheri with calamari, cherry tomatoes, and Taggiasca olives, and they were truly sublime. Congratulations, we hope to return in the future, and this time it won't be by chance!

14/04/2026: Gorgeous wisteria-covered terrace. We hadn’t made a reservation but were welcomed immediately. Excellent wine selection if you want something a little special. Gnocchi with prawns and truffle was sensational. Great seafood misto and grilled octopus.
12/04/2026: Stopped by by chance, ate well and paid fairly.
I have to go back.

10/01/2026: I'm in mourning... The best pizzeria ever! The entire staff is wonderful! Everyone is attentive, kind, and smiling. The gluten-free pizza is spectacular, and the regular one is simply stunning!
Unfortunately, the sword of Damocles has fallen, decreeing its closure. It's truly a shame, especially for all the staff who will be laid off after making this pizzeria what it is.

Still a bit of an "Old Times" place,
but very clean and well-kept. I think it seats 70-80 people at most.
Good food, and always prompt and polite service.
Maybe a little too much for starters. But that's a matter of personal taste.
Worth a try!

That evening, I chose the grilled fish, which was truly well executed and appreciated for its quality and flavor.
Pleasant atmosphere, perfect location, and friendly, helpful staff.
Recommended for grill lovers.

07/04/2026: The food was simply superb. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and competent. It's a small restaurant, but truly exceptionally good. We found hardly any appealing pasta dishes in the area, but here we got exactly what we were looking for. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
We were also particularly impressed by the honesty and warmth of the team: I unfortunately only realized later that I had underpaid when paying by card. When I went back to settle the difference, they refused to accept any additional money out of respect for our honesty. That really touched us.
You can immediately tell that the people there genuinely care about their guests' well-being and that they place great value on quality, honesty, and good service. Anyone in Grado should definitely eat here. We can't praise this restaurant enough.
06/04/2026: Had lunch yesterday on Easter Sunday. Attentive and impeccable service. We ordered two Grado tasting menus with three glasses of wine included for €60 per person and dessert.
All the food was excellent, with balanced flavors. A special mention for the gnocchi with grey mullet, simply perfect. Everyone was wonderful.

Excellent flavor, very good in terms of flavor and ingredients.
Poor digestibility, still in my stomach after 15 hours. Maybe Neapolitan style isn't for me. XD. It's not the first time, and it's not the first place where I've eaten pizza and had a sleepless night.
Excellent service with friendly staff.
Great location, appreciated background playlist with instrumental versions of hits.

Seafood buffet, risotto as a first course, bluefin tuna and mashed potatoes, panna cotta and dried fruit as a second course, wine and water included.
The salmon was fabulous; we didn't like the tuna because it was too seasoned. Service was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable.

05/04/2026: A nice, well-kept restaurant in the heart of Cividale. We happened to stumble upon it just as the kitchen was closing (2 PM), but they let us in anyway.
The food was really good, plentiful, and made with quality ingredients.
Mixed grilled fish and tagliolini paglia e fieno with San Daniele.
The only downside was that one waiter made me feel embarrassed in front of some foreign guests I'd brought there to eat.
As soon as he'd seated us, he came back to the counter yelling, "These guys are Spanish..."
Later in the meal, after checking to see if he could start clearing the table, I sensed as he was talking about us still being there and not having finished.
Finally, when it was time to order two coffees and a herbal tea, when the waitress brought the order back to the counter, the same male voice started mocking the fact that I'd asked for herbal tea and, amidst hearty laughter, greeted his colleagues by saying, "Hi, and enjoy the herbal tea!"
Obviously, no offense intended, but I must say that going out to a restaurant isn't a vital need, but rather a pleasure one desires to experience, in terms of both service and food. In my case, I was showing my hometown to foreigners who speak perfect Italian.
Absolutely nothing to say about the professionalism of the young waitress and the lady who I presume was the owner.
I understand that working with the public isn't easy, but I don't think you should be treated like an idiot on top of paying.
