23/09/2025: The place is really ugly. The staff is friendly. The food is mediocre. Augusto is certainly not typical cuisine. Indefinable.

10/09/2025: We went to see the small town of Gorizia, very pretty but not very lively. We looked up food on Google and found this restaurant (there were only a few open). I should mention there were two waiters, one dark-haired with a thinning, rather scruffy and dry hair, while the other was a guy with a short bob, very friendly and pleasant. As for the food, it was pretty average. The worst thing was the price: two people with a starter, main course, dessert, and a coffee—nothing out of the ordinary. We didn't eat eels or anything like that—they charged us €138.40 (almost €70 per person). It's a real steal, as for that price you'd almost be eating in a Michelin-starred establishment.

26/08/2025: We had lunch with 20 friends before the August bank holiday, and everything went well. The fish was excellent and fresh, the service was impeccable, and the price was fair. The only downside is that they only serve lunch; the atmosphere for dinner would be perfect. Anyway, kudos to the staff and to Moira.

01/08/2025: Unfortunately we didn't eat, we went to see the nature reserve, but the restaurant looks cozy. The only thing I regret about Italian restaurants is the so-called coperto, probably "crawling". You come, sit down, and you pay €2 or even €2.50. What about the whole family. €10 and you haven't even sat down. Exactly in the style of "good day, 250,-CZK"

21/11/2025: THE GREAT UNKNOWN We've tried to eat at this place six times... but unfortunately, we only managed once: the other times, it was either full (4 times) or closed. The problem is, they never answer the phone. We've tried hundreds of times on various occasions (both during opening hours and right around them... but never a response)... It's a shame, because when we did manage to do so, we found excellent food... but it's no big deal: on one of the many occasions we were left empty-handed, we discovered "La Canociada" nearby: the food was of the same quality (excellent), there was a wider selection, and, most importantly, they answered the phone, thus avoiding any unpleasant inconveniences.

27/09/2025: A fantastic place, the food is excellent, the service is very attentive, and they make you feel good. In the warmer months, sitting outside is a fabulous experience. For special occasions!

10/12/2025: The food was okay but a bit expensive. The service was very unfriendly. Normally, you're served politely everywhere in Italy. Not really recommended. There are plenty of restaurants with good food and friendly service in Grado.

02/11/2025: Great seafood risotto, great pizza and pasta. Very friendly staff, pleasant environment.

06/08/2025: Sempre eccellente.. antipasto di crudo crudo ed ancora crudo ottimo ed accompagnato da un favoloso wasabi. Pizze gourmet eccellenti, l’omaggio alla regina Margherita ha un pomodoro sontuoso.

24/07/2025: Personale sempre cortese ed attento, ci hanno trovato un tavolo in pochi minuti, purtroppo rispetto agli anni precedenti dove trovavo una giusta qualità con dei prezzi onesti, riscontro un aumento di prezzi ma una diminuzione della qualità almeno nel reparto ristorante.

22/10/2025: A truly romantic place. The lady seemed like a German woman to me, cold and not laughing. Italians are always nice, but we were here in mid-October. Maybe tired after the summer? The day before, we ate at a nearby restaurant because it was cheaper, and I have to say we ate better the day before. The pasta ragu seemed lacking in salt, as did the tomato and vegetable sauce. I don't think we'll be back.

14/10/2025: You can forget about that place. We've been in Grado for decades and have finally decided to visit the Canevon. The decor is reminiscent of Venetian palaces from the century before last. The food tastes very good, but the portions are ridiculously small. My request for a second napkin after the appetizer, spaghetti with seafood, has still not been met. It was noticeable that there were no Italians in the entire restaurant, only Germans and Austrians. A bad sign in general. I had to wait almost an hour to order my main course, turbot with polenta, because two waiters were completely overwhelmed with seven tables. The turbot was also just a small triangle cut from the turbot, the whole fish. The polenta was completely dry. What also struck me as suspicious was that all the dishes were delivered within a few minutes, when a waiter finally found time to attend to you. This place is a total rip-off in my opinion. You can eat good fish elsewhere.

03/12/2025: Very good food and friendly ladies in the service; we can recommend it.

24/11/2025: REPORTABLE! We went to this restaurant—if you can call it that—for Sunday lunch. When we arrived, we waited 20 minutes just to order: there were only two waitresses in the dining room, and the place was filling up quickly. For our first courses, we waited over an hour. When we asked for information, we were told, "They're plating up." Confident, we waited another 15 minutes... until we noticed that the tables that arrived after us were being served, but ours still hadn't. We asked for an explanation again, and the lady told us exactly: "I'm sorry, but your order hasn't arrived in the kitchen." In effect, our dishes would never arrive. No attempt to make amends, no alternatives, no concrete apologies. Nothing. We left, shocked. We arrived at 12:30, left at 2:20, without having eaten. A situation like this had never happened to me, and I hope it never happens to anyone. Avoid this place like the plague.

18/10/2025: People stroll by and you have a drink. Nothing more, nothing less! The staff are correspondingly apathetic, not to say dismissive.

10/10/2025: I used to be a guest here, but the unfriendliness is getting worse every day. It takes a long-time guest to get so annoyed. On top of that, the waiter threatened me with physical violence. So, I can only say one thing: No matter the situation, and even though the food is quite good, avoid.

13/08/2025: Returned after a few years and found the facility dilapidated and the fish was of low quality. Not recommended.

07/08/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant. The grilled calamari was delicious, as was the spaghetti alla marinara, which was tasty and well-made. The fried calamari was also light and crispy. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. We recommend it.

27/08/2025: We ate at the restaurant today, and the servers were all very attentive and friendly! It was completely packed, but everything went quickly, and the food was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

19/08/2025: Breakfast was poor. Being Italians, we prefer sweet foods, but at this hotel, breakfast was mostly savory. They had more cold cuts than sweet options. Only two types of croissants, and rarely any cakes. Service was almost nonexistent. We constantly had to alert the staff when water and cups were out.

09/11/2025: I never write negative reviews, but the lady at this place made me blush. I went in to ask if they could serve us something to eat, considering it was 2:00 PM. The lady ignored me, and when I approached her to ask, she snapped, telling me she was alone and that I could go somewhere else. Which, of course, I did, since there's no shortage of good places to eat in Grado. So I can't fault the food and drinks, but if they treat their customers like this, I don't think it's a good thing.

19/10/2025: Received something different than what I ordered - response: they changed it without noting it on the card, no apology or other concessions...

04/11/2025: We stopped for lunch, a small group, and ordered spaghetti with clams for everyone...,,,, good! But the pasta was a little sparse, the clams were plentiful, and the price was a bit high for my taste. Anyway, the prices are clearly displayed, and there are no surprises at the end! It's really nice outside...

02/11/2025: Decent food for an exorbitant price. The right place if you want to be charged 70 euros for a Branzino.

30/09/2025: During the renovation we were given rooms on the top floor without a lift and still to be renovated under the roof not exactly a nice value to see living and above all paying other people on the lower floors everything was ok maybe we were the unlucky ones and in any case we were not warned of the differences in quality of the rooms by the manager
