Ristorante Mediterraneo In Positano

We were recommended this place by our B&B. We enjoyed our meal, it is price relatively well for Positano. Unfortunately the black and white pasta was unavailable but we had the option to choose another kind of pasta for the season food and lemon pasta dishes. The grilled vegetables were great. The lemon cake was amazing, the tiramisu was good but had chocolate chips inside which wasn’t to our tastes personally. Overall, the vibe is nice and you get to have a typical Positano lunch with a view without as hefty of a price tag compared to other places.

Amazing restaurant! Amazing staff, great atmosphere. Personally ate the seafood risotto which had a very generous amount of everything! Literally a small mound of seafood and rice. The restaurant also had a musician which sang and played live music which was delightful. Highly recommended of you visit positano.

With live music, it makes my dinner taste even better!

Lovely restaurant, amazing service and Armando's recommendation of the homemade pasta with seafood was absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back there again! Tiramissu was light and creamy.

Why does this restaurant not have more reviews? The lobster pasta was absolutely to die for complimented by a lovely chilled glass of white wine. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is absolutely perfect along the coast of Positano with relaxing music playing in the background to add to the beautiful scenic views.

Recommended by the villa we stayed at and based on the amount of reviews we decided to come by. Had a reservation but it did not matter as seats were open. This is what I’d call a typical run of the mill Italian restaurant. However we sat near the back (by the door to the wine cellar?) and were pretty much neglected. We asked for a menu upon arriving and the waiter did not tell us to scan the QR code so we sat there waiting… when we finally figured it out, no one came by to take our order until foreverr… a single gentleman was seated in the table next to us, got his sparkling water.. but was just as neglected and he ended up getting up and walking out… none of the waiters noticed LOL. Either way, they didn’t serve us bread or anything even after they took our order. It wasn’t busy at all and there were at least 3 waiters. The table up front that was constantly being cared for was no more than 10ft from us. Everything including bread, appetizers and first and second courses were brought to our table at the SAME time… we had mussels and no one came to clear the plate full of shells.. then we waited forever for them to clean our tables and ask for check. We’re so tempted to jsut get up and leave like the gentleman did, no one would know. The food was just mediocre/standard. Except I ordered zucchini flowers and only 1 came on a dish with cold cut (confused with a diff menu item). Overall poor service, unappalling food. The guy who took our payment was very nice but I really didn’t like the overall experience. D’aiello has similar prices but you’ll get superb service, a welcome gift, and better food.

We ate here two nights in a row whilst we were in Positano cause it was actually so good!! Yes, it’s Positano prices but much more reasonable than the majority of others and way better quality and taste. They also made our little kid feel very welcome which we loved

Very friendly service. Unpretentious, delicious Italian food with a lovely atmosphere. Great value too!

Great service, great food. Highly recommend. The parmigiana and scialatelli were some of the best I’ve had in Italy. If you find yourself in Positano this is the place to go for dinner.
