21/05/2026: What a gem! Lovely place with terrific view. The service was the best and friendliest we’ve had since visiting Italy. Dinner and breakfast was wonderful! Great chef.

12/08/2026: The atmosphere is well-organized, but with the current heat, simple pedestal fans would be enough to "move" the stagnant air. The service was inattentive; we waited over 40 minutes for a platter. The pizza was embarrassing; the crust was ready or something. One of the worst pizzas I've tried in the last year. The other two dishes were sloppy, perhaps more appropriate for foreign tourists.

11/08/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant near the apartment where we were staying, and I must say we discovered a true treasure. From the first moment, we were greeted with great kindness by the young owner, the chef, and the waiter: each one more talented than the other. They made us feel at home right away, with professionalism and helpfulness, even recommending the most beautiful beaches in the area and a fantastic limoncello workshop. The view is simply breathtaking, and you can see the attention to the little details: carefully selected napkins, beautiful ceramic plates, fresh flowers on the table... details that really make a difference. And then the food: fantastic! You could taste the freshness of the products and the love with which each dish was prepared. Everything was truly delicious. Last but not least, another great plus is the price: more than fair and suitable for all budgets. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone passing through. Congratulations to all the staff! 🥰🥰🥰

13/06/2026: A local hidden gem with an intimate feel. Quiet and far from the crowds, but has an accessible bus stop that drops you off at Amalfi (takes ~40mins.) Views are beautiful.

12/08/2026: If I could give Max Ristorante more than 5 stars…I would. My family and I were only staying in Positano for 3 nights and had we found this place on our first night, we would have been here everyday! We came here on our second night by chance of accommodation for 12 and they had space. Thank goodness they did. Everything we ordered was made to perfection. The service was impeccable; personable service, gorgeous and serene atmosphere, and the feeling of just being home with your family. I have to give a shout out to the spaghetti pomodori and seafood risotto. Just so darn good we came back on our third and final night. Somehow everything that exceeded our expectations the night before skyrocketed even higher! What a beautiful place. If I am ever back in Positano, this will be my first stop. Grazie!

03/08/2026: We tried several different entrees and starters and none were very good. The risotto was extremely fishy with a brutal aftertaste as was the octopus spaghetti. Tasting the seafood is one thing but this was an unpleasant lingering effect. The service was even more lackluster. You expect laid back customer service but we were forgotten after the food was delivered. Never asked if we wanted another drink, never approached for dessert, had to get up and ask for the check after waiting 20 minutes without a visit from our waiter. Meanwhile the manager held an extended loud and animated conversation with the table next to ours with no concern to our experience. I would never go back with so many better options in Positano.

Beautiful plants adorned a spotlessly clean and fresh terrace. The hostess was impeccable and attentive to our every need. The food was excellent. From the mussels to the main courses. From the delicious pizzas to the exquisite sandwiches. Impeccable in every way. I extend my sincerest compliments to the Bugigattolo staff for their rare and excellent service. The bill was paid with unparalleled honesty. Highly recommended +++++

11/05/2026: Courtesy and professionalism reign supreme in the service, both from the waiters and the sommelier's knowledge of the wines offered. The restaurant is beautiful, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. The chef is truly skilled; he has his own identity that shines through in his dishes (both iconic and otherwise). The ingredients are top-quality. I've been to this restaurant twice: the first time I took the highly appreciated tasting menu, and the second time I took a masterclass on Super Tuscan and Brunello accompanied by food by Chef Avallone, which was also very, very interesting. The star is more than deserved!! I'll leave you with a quote of mine: "There's wisdom in the dishes."

15/04/2026: Centrally located in a historic building. The interior is meticulously crafted, modern yet welcoming, with a few well-spaced tables. There's also a refined wine display on the wall. The staff accompanied us through our lunch impeccably, professionally, knowledgeably, and with just the right amount of formality. What wouldn't you expect from a restaurant like this? Popcorn! Elevated to a Michelin-starred level. From the entree to the dessert, the dishes were carefully crafted and carefully planned, each ingredient's flavors perfectly complementing the other, and overall, there was excellent balance. The wine pairing was sublime. The sommelier suggested some truly unusual pairings, demonstrating her expertise and professionalism. A highly recommended restaurant, capable of providing memorable experiences and flavors.
