14/02/2026: Negative experience... a Valentine's Day dinner (2026) where we gave them 70 euros for a poor appetizer, 2 truly inedible first courses, only 3 pasta hearts, and a fried food that can't even be called such, almost starving. I didn't wait for dessert because I had already seen so much from the dinner, I saved myself a trauma. Never again. The place should be closed starting with dinner in the cold it was.

14/02/2026: A decidedly negative experience. I ate at this restaurant on Valentine's Day and it was a bad experience. Unfortunately, the food was poor, and the portions were very small. The portions were small, and the food didn't live up to expectations. The place was cold and the service was unwelcoming. I won't even talk about it. I absolutely don't recommend it.

01/08/2025: Ottimo spaghetto con le vongole, cremoso e saporito. Gli involtini di pesce spada non ci sono piaciuti così come il primo con pesce spada e melanzane. Buona la frittura di calamari. I prezzi a mio parere troppo alti. 4 persone 4 primi e 3 secondi abbiamo pagato 170 euro.

04/05/2026: We had lunch at Vigrì yesterday and had a very positive experience. We opted for the €20 fixed menu, a formula that proved to be a winning choice due to the truly unbeatable value for money. What we ate The highlight was undoubtedly the first courses: Scialatielli: Flavorful and well-creamed, a top rating. Ravioli: Chosen by my wife, who loved them for their delicate texture and the quality of the filling. As for the second courses: Cod: Truly excellent, well-cooked and tasty. Meat main course: Honestly, I found it a step below the rest, but still acceptable for a full menu. Ambience and Service The location is very beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming, ideal for enjoying a relaxing meal. Kudos also to the staff, who were friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs throughout the lunch. In short: If you're looking for a place in Scalea where you can eat well without spending a fortune, Vigrì is a guarantee. We'll definitely be back.

11/05/2026: A few days ago we had a meal for 6 people...the appetizers were poor, spaghetti allo scoglio lacking any fishy flavor, spaghetti with squid ink ditto...gnocchi and scilatelli with ragù let's not even talk about it...not recommended

11/04/2026: Great company and excellent pizza, excellent mussels and appetizers. Pleasant atmosphere and kind, helpful, and professional staff (I have allergies, and they were available to make sure everything was okay). I recommend it. Excellent!

01/11/2025: This B&B experience is not to be repeated, due to the room overlooking the internal construction site and the unfriendly owner. I love Praia and enjoy going there when I can, but I won't be returning to Porto di Mare.

25/09/2025: Good quality food, otherwise a bad experience. I don't recommend going there. Be careful with the owner (she's clever, even if she doesn't seem so). When I asked for the bill, we realized the next day that she'd listed two salads instead of one, and a dessert we never ate... Excessive prices. My wife and I shared a cold seafood appetizer and a large mixed grill, along with two glasses of wine. We paid 90.00. Absurd!!

08/09/2025: SUSHI YOUMI is a pleasant discovery. The sushi is fresh and well-prepared, with carefully crafted and tasty dishes. The selection is varied and the quality/price ratio is excellent. The place is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and always available to offer advice. A great place for lovers of Japanese cuisine in Rende.

08/03/2026: Today, March 8, 2026, two people for €59.50. Nice place and decent service. The problem? The price and quality of the food. €19 for 6 bruschettas, embarrassing to say the least. Ten paccheri that tasted only of salt, and a scialatiello so raw that if thrown at someone's head, it would have caused a brain injury. I understand that these are the costs these days, and if you decide to go out for lunch, you have to take that into account. But absolutely not like this. I repeat, €19 for 6 bruschettas.

13/04/2026: A top-notch culinary experience. The fish is the absolute star: incredibly fresh and tasty. The view is enchanting. The sound of the waves in the background is the perfect musical accompaniment. Fairly priced.

12/04/2026: Amazing view and really good food - we ordered ravioli con gamberi and calamarata con ragu plus the view makes it tottaly worth it. In this place the service was friendly comparing to other places we were checking. Totally recommended!

The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was incredibly fresh, and the cuisine unfussy, crafted with authentic flavors. The dishes were generous, and the service was professional and attentive. We'd love to return and recommend it without hesitation.

20/04/2026: I had lunch yesterday with my parents and son at this place, which I wasn't familiar with. We were greeted with smiles and kindness, presented with truly delicious dishes, and treated to a delightful view, with the terrace where we ate overlooking the sea. The swordfish first course and the fried fish were excellent! Highly recommended!

27/04/2026: This is the best restaurant in Tropea so far! And it deserves much higher appreciation for sure. Maybe it's not the cheapest place, but the cuisine is outstanding! I believe, it deserves a Michelin's star. Highly recommended!
