20/07/2025: Since the new management, the quality of food and service has been top notch.

13/07/2025: For my first time there, I tried the classic Margherita pizza, and it was delicious, well-cooked, soft, and full of mozzarella. While I was waiting, considering it was Saturday, I saw some pasta dishes pass by, which looked good. I recommend the pizza for the cooked dishes. As soon as I get back and try them, I'll be sure to review them. Overall, everything was good and affordable, highly recommended.

14/08/2025: I left Polistena this morning specifically to bring the kids here... we ate well, we didn't wait too long and the staff was excellent in everything.

09/08/2025: SHAMEFUL. We didn't order anything special: pasta with tomato sauce for our 3-year-old daughter and spaghetti with mussels and clams. The pasta arrived pre-cooked, reheated in a pan with basil pesto and tomato sauce, unsightly (as you can see from the attached photos). When we reported it to one of the "managers," he returned to our table with a BLACK container of pesto, saying, "See, ma'am, this is simply blended basil." We asked for a PLAIN pasta with tomato sauce again, and the result was just as unsightly and inedible as the previous one. The pasta with clams and mussels had almost all the shellfish closed, and the pasta, like the tomato sauce, was pre-cooked and compact. Price for the plain spaghetti? €15. The owners were RUDE. When we went to pay, they loudly asked us to vacate the table because it was already occupied by new customers. NEVER AGAIN!

22/08/2025: The location is beautiful, right on the beach, just steps from the shore, but the surroundings are a bit shabby. The menu is extensive, but then at the end they tell you that some items aren't available, like the crudité appetizer, due to "blast chilling," so the selection is limited. The "scialatielli" with shrimp tartare became linguine, and the spaghetti with clams was basically spaghetti all'olio... I'm sorry. I think they could do much better.

21/08/2025: A table with friends and children, not very spacious. They left one child without food, there was a lot of confusion during the service, who was getting the appetizer, who was getting the main course, dishes not served, and as mentioned, after forgetting my son's pasta, the waiter even rudely addressed me after I reminded him. The food was decent, but nothing special. The city of Reggio deserves better...

07/04/2025: Locale molto buono, con interessante menù di carne e di pesce. Siamo stati molto bene e, malgrado fosse affollato, il servizio è stato efficiente e veloce.

The evening atmosphere is simply magical, with the coastal lights gently reflecting on the water, creating a postcard-perfect landscape. The service was impeccable, attentive, and friendly, while the quality of the food exceeded all expectations. Every detail, from the elegant table setting to the perfectly served glass of wine, contributed to making the evening perfect. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner or a special occasion.

10/08/2025: The wait was particularly long: we arrived at 9:00 PM, and the appetizer (a shared one) was served at 11:15 PM. Furthermore, the risotto was excessively salty. The total order—two first courses, a bottle of water, and a glass of house wine—cost 70 euros. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations in terms of either quality or service time.

28/07/2025: Excellent appetizer. The clam pasta had no flavor; it tasted like plain oil pasta. I don't recommend it.

18/08/2025: A truly beautiful place, with a breathtaking view even at night. The pizza is typical Calabrian, but the penne all'arrabbiata is superb! The local wine, made on site, is delicious. The granita is a must! The prices are fair.

03/09/2025: Excellent pizza, kind and helpful people, really excellent service. We had a 3-year-old with us and when ordering they asked if they could bring the child's pizza first in less than 5 minutes and it arrived, a gesture that not all places do.

10/08/2025: Pizzas arrived after 1.5 hours with the room half empty and almost entirely filled with people waiting to eat.

09/08/2025: Seated at 9:15 PM, the first diner dines half an hour after ordering, then four more are served after another 50-55 minutes, and the remaining three after another hour, after countless requests to check the order with the kitchen. At the end of the evening, it's admitted that the order was lost. In 2025, establishments like this tarnish the reputation of our wonderful region.

29/06/2025: In questo mese x esigenze di famiglia ci siamo trovati ad Amantea e come è già capitato abbiamo pranzato al Lido Azzurro,come sempre molta cordialità e qualità,ma una piccola critica vorrei farla: ogni volta che andiamo la porzione della frittura di calamari diminuisce🤣si che dobbiamo fare un po' di dieta ma sullo scontrino il prezzo è uguale! Nonostante ciò ci ritornerò perché preferisco la qualità alla quantità! Buona stagione estiva di ❤️

28/06/2025: Pessimo è dire poco. Poca gentilezza, poca scelta e soprattutto prezzi assurdamente alti. Ci hanno fatto pagare un toast , che toast non era, ma mezzo panino con prosciutto e formaggio, 6 euro. Non oso immaginare quanto possa costare un pranzo. Da evitare

22/08/2025: The restaurant is on the road, with easy parking and a beautiful view of the sea. The outdoor seating is fairly quiet, and the service is acceptable. The food wasn't the best.

20/08/2025: We went here for pizza, but by 8:30 PM they had run out of pizza dough. No big deal, we thought; we'd just order a fish first course or second course: a bad choice. The pasta was overcooked and tasteless. As for the second course, we ordered fried calamari, but were served poor-quality fried squid, which was inedible in texture and flavor, and was badly fried. The bill was extremely high, completely out of line with the quality of the food served. In conclusion: a terrible experience.

23/08/2025: We had dinner in 7 waiting time almost an hour... for the pizza the dough was good but not enough toppings... peppered mussels and good seafood salad... fried fish mediocre!

22/08/2025: After years, I'm returning to Soverato, and on a humid evening like no other, I decide to book a table at Miramare... A fantastic sea breeze accompanied us throughout the dinner. We ate divinely, and the "sfilatino" was a truly delicious surprise. Impeccable service and a reasonable bill. We'll be back soon.

04/08/2025: Everyone has free access to the beach. The staff at this beach resort assaulted me to get me to leave because I wasn't a customer at the bar. Access to the beach is guaranteed to all residents. Keeping potential customers away will boost your business. I strongly advise against stopping here.

30/07/2025: My experience at this restaurant/pizzeria was unfortunately disappointing. Despite the young and, in my opinion, in need of experience staff, customer service was almost nonexistent. It took a long time to clear the table, despite several of them passing by. Our requests were not met, leaving us feeling frustrated. The first dish I ordered arrived overcooked and didn't match the menu description at all, which is a shame. Our entire order was served all at once, and the pizzas lacked a drizzle of oil and were not particularly tasty, thanks to the tough crust. There's really a lot to work on; I hope this review inspires us to improve.
