26/07/2025: It's a restaurant that aims to imitate a gourmet style, so the portions are small but good. The quality-price ratio isn't great by my standards. The grilled octopus is great for teaching children to count to 10, and the gnocchi to 20. The outdoor tables aren't the best; it's impossible to maintain proper posture because the table legs are positioned in such a way that they prevent the knees from being under the table.

19/08/2025: A well-kept and welcoming beach, perfect for children. There's even a microwave with an electric hob for preparing baby food. Highly recommended, but book before you go.

02/04/2025: Let me start by saying that the food is excellent, but it used to be even better. Lately, the dishes have been a bit too flavorful; if they could improve this small aspect, it would really be top notch. Overall, full marks.

22/08/2025: A completely negative experience. We arrived on the terrace at 9:15 PM, there was no welcome, the service was sketchy, the food was supermarket-quality raw, and the first courses tasted completely tasteless. The wine was very good, but obviously not homemade. The bill was very steep. To be avoided at all costs.

30/09/2024: The restaurant is the Praia art resort complex, open only in the evening from 19.30. It has several Michelin stars. It offers a tasting of 3,5 or 7 courses/ but you actually get more/ You can ask for a wine pairing. The food is superb, they use local organic raw materials, beautifully designed and served Quality wines. We visited twice. We tried the 7-course menu, the second time a la carte. Service level. The price matches the quality.

28/07/2025: Dopo un rientro abbastanza convulso, a causa del mare mosso, dalle straordinarie isole Eolie, dopo le 15.00 abbiamo provato a prenotare da Baylik, per gustare i famosi spaghetti alla carbonara di pesce spada. Lo chef Fortunato Zappia, insieme alla super efficiente e bellissima Carolina ci ha accolto nonostante il grande ritardo. Che dire, la carbonara di pesce spada è un'esperienza che va fatta, perché ti riconcilia con la vita e ti fa dimenticare la brutta traversata. Carolina al servizio è stata velocissima e professionale, immediatamente ha portato un pane buonissimo croccate fuori e morbido dentro fatto di farine scure, che abbiamo divorato, nella breve attesa dei piatti scelti. Il menù è molto vario e i costi sono contenuti nonostante l'eccellente qualità dei piatti proposti. Oltre alla carbonara di pesce spada consiglio la frittura di pesce e per finire il gelato alle creme fatto dalle mani sapienti del nostro chef Fortunato. Bravi, torneremo presto!

06/07/2025: All good, good welcome, good service. The first courses were good, the mussel soup was good, we didn't take the second courses, but I was a bit surprised to see very little fried calamari, with small calamari... very disappointing... We went to this restaurant because it was recommended to us by 2 out of 3 people. The price seemed a bit too high to me. This is my opinion. Go but know that the fried food leaves much to be desired.

05/07/2025: Ordered swordfish mixed salad. Sparkling water.. the girl arrives with a water on tap, I immediately ask to change it with a sealed one, she brings bread and a small plate with an oily red substance, she puts it down and leaves, without describing the dish, what is it? Sweet, spicy? What does it contain? If one is celiac or intolerant? Zero knowledge, I noticed every time the kitchen door opened, the staff all without headphones, even people sitting at tables. Who came in and out at will, even behind the bar counter. Probably relatives.. No, it's not for me. This is the third one I've rejected at Le Castella, there aren't hundreds of them..

13/06/2025: Accolti gentilmente e serviti su un romantico tavolo vista mare. Deliziosi gli antipasti caldi e il sauté di cozze. Anche vino e primi davvero eccellenti. Abbiamo concluso con il semifreddo zabaione, cioccolato e amaretti… da leccarsi i baffi. Anche il ristorante interno risulta molto curato ed elegante. Complimenti per la gestione. Consigliatissimo

24/08/2025: A restaurant just steps from the Soverato seafront, a truly wonderful discovery! We ate wonderfully, starting with mussels as an appetizer, followed by linguine with clams and mussels and clams—tasty, well-cooked dishes made with fresh ingredients. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful; they even let us choose between spaghetti and linguine—a detail we appreciated. The service was professional and friendly. The bill was absolutely fair: the four of us spent €100. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

11/08/2025: WARNING! The owner is ripping off tourists. He tells you the three dishes he's offering today, but you can't see the prices. But €20 for a plate of pasta is outrageous. When I confronted him, those are the prices he always charges... Generally speaking, the pasta was very tasty.

04/05/2025: Zeker één van de beste restaurants in Scalea. Gelegen op een sfeervol pleintje in het oude centrum. Beperkte menukaart maar meestal staat dit borg voor verse en kwaliteitsvolle producten én dat bleek ook zo te zijn. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Een topervaring.

26/04/2025: Posto finora perfetto stasera tanta delusione. 2 paccheri all astice 70€ ove in questi non c era nessun connubio. Non è una questione economica ma solamente pura mancanza di combinazione culinaria/soporifera. Non so se tornerò x dare un ulteriore chance. Saluti e buona vita
