10/02/2025: L'altra sera abbiamo preso due porzioni di patatine erano abbondanti e buone, le pizze che abbiamo preso erano la casareccia e la saporita entrambe buo..ni..ssi..meeeee, l'impasto strepitoso è dir poco, non fa venire sete come molto succede quando l'impasto non ha una buona lievitazione, gestione e servizio ottimi. Gentilissimi e attenti ai clienti. Poi c'è anche una saletta piccola che è molto intima e accogliente. Lo consigliamo a tutti e ci ritorneremo presto. Grazie.

09/02/2025: Last night we had two portions of chips they were plentiful and good, the pizzas we took were the casareccia and the tasty one both good..ni..ssi..meeeee, the sensational dough is an understatement, it doesn't make you thirsty as often happens when the dough doesn't have good leavening, excellent management and service. Very kind and attentive to customers. Then there is also a small room which is very intimate and welcoming. We recommend it to everyone and will return soon. Thank you.

13/01/2025: One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. I would recommend it to anyone, tourist or local. The place is very nice, tidy, well furnished and with a wonderful view. It is structured on several levels, between a platform overlooking the sea and a top floor terrace overlooking the sea and all of Scilla. Obviously the menu is almost entirely fish-based and it is all excellent. We ordered a seafood appetizer consisting of 6 different tastings, easily divisible for 2 people. Followed by two first courses: trofie with seafood and paccheri with swordfish with olives and capers. All very good. The staff is very kind and very professional. I recommend booking about a week in advance to have the chance to occupy one of the best tables on the terrace, attached to the railing.

02/11/2024: Overall, pretty disappointing. We waited over 40 minutes for the food to arrive. They clearly had more tables than they could handle. The food itself was not bad, but it was pretty average and the portions were quite small. The salad was especially disappointing, it was literally just a bit of lettuce and they brought a bottle of olive oil to season it with. The restaurant also only had one bathroom for which there was a line the whole time we were there. At the end, they rounded down our cheque from 62 to 60 euros, which was a nice gesture.

30/09/2024: The restaurant is the Praia art resort complex, open only in the evening from 19.30. It has several Michelin stars. It offers a tasting of 3,5 or 7 courses/ but you actually get more/ You can ask for a wine pairing. The food is superb, they use local organic raw materials, beautifully designed and served Quality wines. We visited twice. We tried the 7-course menu, the second time a la carte. Service level. The price matches the quality.

12/02/2025: My colleague and I had dinner at this restaurant. I chose a seafood salad, while he ordered spaghetti with seafood, accompanied by a bottle of still water and a small Coca-Cola. The bill, however, seemed excessive compared to what we consumed; the prices are really too high for the quality and quantity of the food offered. It's as if they made us pay a disproportionate price, almost like an armed robbery.

21/01/2025: Unforgettable experience! We spent a special evening, starting with the welcome from the owner, a sweet, kind and very present person throughout our dinner. The food was an indescribable taste experience, the quality and freshness of the fish literally amazed us. The place is very welcoming and well looked after, from the armchairs to the splendid hand-painted lamps, in short, a magical place. Super positive review because everything deserves to be known and appreciated in the best way. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! Thanks for a wonderful evening

17/09/2024: I went to the castle restaurant one evening in the company of friends and my experience could only be positive. Excellent location by the sea from which you can enjoy a beautiful view, good cuisine, attentive table service with friendly and competent staff. Definitely worth a try for anyone in the area and, as far as I'm concerned, also worth visiting for a romantic evening in the company of the right person. I forgot, good value for money which never hurts.

05/09/2024: Very courteous, friendly service. The pizza was very tasty and the location right by the sea was wonderful! The location is friendly and bright inside, but the outside is in need of renovation.

03/03/2025: Sono venuto in coppia in questo ristorante a pranzo di domenica e avevo qualche perplessità leggendo le recensioni nelle quali grandi esperti sono in grado di dare giudizi che sembrano sentenze. Io riassumo per brevità: Abbiamo preso primi, secondi e contorni e tutti i piatti erano molto (molto!) abbondanti, in particolare il primi che definirei esagerati. Per me il gusto era ottimo. Dovuto alla buona qualità del pesce?...alle capacità del cuoco?...non lo so, non sono così esperto come pare siano invece altri avventori. Per me i piatti erano originali e gustosi e a me questo è bastato. So benissimo di non essere andato in un ristorante stellato, con tutti i pro e i contro della cosa. E ora veniamo al conto: Prezzi più che onesti. Ho letto recensioni che si lamentavano dei prezzi altissimi. Sul gusto si può discutere, il prezzo è invece una cosa oggettiva. Faccio un solo esempio. Una porzione di patatine fritte di contorno (fra l'altro una quantità imbarazzante, che non siamo riusciti a finire in due) 4 euro e anche i prezzi dei primi e dei secondi oggettivamente erano più bassi della media di molti altri locali. Insomma, io non ho alcun tornaconto a scrivere questa recensione, ma la scrivo con questo tono perché mi dispiace vedere recensioni fuorvianti rispetto alla realtà. La serata storta può esserci, ma chi da un giudizio dovrebbe avere le capacità anche di valutare con obiettività perché i giudizi sono importanti per la scelta o meno di un locale da parte di chi viene dopo di te. 02/10/2024: Small restaurant on the sea front almost hidden by the large restaurant next door. We were the first to arrive in the evening and it was quiet through the evening. Just as well as the guy serving tables also seemed to be cooking. It was a small menu but we were pushed towards a smaller choice, we were told mussels were not good in September although we have eaten them elsewhere. We asked for house red wine but got rose. We ordered one baked fish and one swordfish. However a plate of marinated swordfish, octopus and potatoes also arrived as a starter which we later realised we were not charged for. It was very good. The roasted fish was OK but the middle was not cooked. Bread was very good. With a bottle of water the bill was 47 euros. Very good value.

10/02/2025: Good food, good price...We went there 3 times and left good tips. Last time we only left 15 minutes after 3. The boss made her frustration clear to us...then we stopped going. It's a shame, we were in Scalea for another week...there are other restaurants too. See photo of Gallo Bianco, they are friendly and warm, even if you sit for a long time.

30/03/2025: Dopo quindici giorni.... a mente fredda.... il ricordo dell'onda del mare che si infrangeva alla porta finestra, unitamente valutato alla squisitezza delle pietanze servite ed alla gentilezza di Tonino Polistena ed alla cortesia di Francesco non ci fa pensare ad altro che alla voglia di ritornare.... grazie

28/03/2025: Llegamos al ristorante después de las 8 pm y nos sentamos inmediatamente por Francesco. Después de leer el menú impreso, aprendimos que era ligeramente diferente del menú de su sitio web. Le preguntamos a Francesco si era posible para el chef para preparar para nosotros un plato que no en el menú impreso. ¡Sí fue su respuesta! Nos alegró mucho saber que era posible. Esto era tan importante - no tuvimos que salir y buscar otro ristorante a esa hora en la oscuridad. Además de nuestros excelentes primeros platos, el plato de verduras a la parrilla era el mejor que habíamos comido durante nuestra estancia en Scilla.

23/03/2025: Tutto ottimo e la qualità del cibo è in linea con i prezzi , siamo stati davvero benissimo , Fiorentina e tiramisù davvero molto buoni ! Consigliato a tutti , famiglie , copie o grandi compagnie !
