09/08/2026: Without even having lunch there, the welcome was icy, even contemptuous. After "climbing" Scilla in the sweltering August heat and enduring one touristy mishap after another, sweating profusely, the head waiter flatly refused us entry even though the restaurant was empty! It was all about who you looked at (admittedly, mine wasn't exactly fresh anymore!).

08/08/2026: What a beautiful place. A small fishing village, dinner on a deck overlooking the sea. What a delight. Excellent food and top-notch service. Must try.

17/07/2026: On our way back from Crotone, we decided to go out to Trebisacce for dinner... a terrible idea! The welcome was cold and unwelcoming... while I noticed they were very friendly with their fellow villagers... then they didn't have many items on the menu... they said, "No, sorry, but we don't do that right now... so why not take it off the menu?" I asked myself... I don't know! The food we chose wasn't great... in conclusion, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE... lack of hospitality, service, and food that leaves much to be desired... HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED 👎👎👎

25/04/2026: Stunning village with stunning views hotimo for holidays fantastic place

01/04/2026: Exceptional place to relax with friends. Quiet, sea-view room with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas available. The seafront bar and restaurant are adjacent to the hotel rooms. The resort is truly huge!! They picked us up every morning from the Lido by car to take us to the breakfast room. Fantastic location!!

19/04/2026: The restaurant is in a beautiful location. The food is good and well-cooked, but you can't charge €20 for a fried dish with 5 calamari and 3 shrimp. The prices are unreasonable.

06/04/2026: We were passing through and stopped at this cute restaurant with a beautiful view of Dino Island. Excellent food, excellent service. Perhaps the prices were a little high, but since it was Easter Monday, that's okay. Another positive was that we ate lunch inside with our dog, who was welcomed by the staff.

02/06/2026: Party with loud music and shouting until 2 a.m. Breakfast was rather meager. The hotel is by no means worthy of 4 stars. See attached photos – that pretty much says it all.

02/06/2026: The hotel is like a dusty art museum and quite dated. The rooms have been renovated at some point. The beach isn't easily accessible. Unfortunately, during our stay in the shoulder season, we experienced a very loud party that lasted until 2:00 a.m. Breakfast was rather meager, not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. The hotel's surroundings weren't particularly appealing either (see photo).

17/08/2026: I ate at this restaurant twice during my vacation, and I'm honestly sure I'll be back in the coming years. Aside from the spectacular view, the service is impeccable in my opinion; the waiters are knowledgeable and attentive. The prices, in my opinion, aren't excessive, but reflect the true quality of the dishes, which are truly excellent. I'm not giving the food 5 stars simply because, based on what I've tasted, the starters need improvement, as they're not very flavorful (but that could also be personal preference). Everything else, including the freshness and cooking of the lobster, are phenomenal (it melted in your mouth). Special mention goes to both the seafood caprese and the panko tuna, which I found to be stellar.

11/08/2026: For the first time, after years of vacationing in Calabria, I visited this restaurant. The atmosphere was magnificent, especially at sunset and in the evening. The dishes were impeccably presented and of excellent quality. The staff was very professional and helpful. I personally had the raw seafood and the panco red tuna. The raw seafood was fresh and flavorful, and the tuna was indescribable. Highly recommended!!

31/07/2026: What can I say about this beautiful restaurant by the sea...exceptional...fresh, delicious food, exceptional owner and all the staff!!!!

27/07/2026: The place is nice and the pizza is good, but the bill left us disappointed. €3 per person is already a high price for a pizza, but I found it completely unjustified to charge that to a child under two years old, who simply ate a small piece of pizza. Furthermore, €5 for a portion of fries seems excessive. These pricing policies overshadow even the positive aspects of the place. It's a shame, because the food is good.

02/07/2026: We trusted them to help us celebrate in peace, but they left us speechless. Unlike the food, which was exquisite, unfortunately, we were served by staff who weren't up to the task. I would strongly recommend reviewing the organization of the workforce there, starting with the orders! Not a smile, an arrogant and almost annoyed tone, as if they were doing us a favor, my friend, change jobs. The highlight of the evening was when they took away the air conditioning before our evening was over, plus the gross disregard of passing among the guests with glasses and cutlery during the unwrapping of gifts, passing right in the front row, I know that the rest of the staff is strangers to this type of behavior, but I never expected to be served by a rude man in jeans and a t-shirt, who doesn't even respond if I speak to him in the eye, truly disappointed, he would have been given a good lesson in education and respect, which are fundamental for those who work with the public, I would have ruined the evening for all the guests, but the gentleman was warned, I hope to never see people like that again in the place where I go to eat and celebrate, La Bellavita restaurant if you correct this aspect I will definitely return 😜

27/06/2026: Wonderful place. Even though it was late and the place was packed, they seated us in 5 minutes. The staff were friendly, the pizza was amazing, and what more could I say? See you next time! 🤗

10/08/2026: We knew the restaurant's reputation, and what can we say...it was definitely confirmed! The chef offers traditional dishes with a touch of imagination that makes them unique, not to mention his original creations that left me speechless! I highly recommend the Jefferson exchanges with pistachios (the winning dish in a Michelin-starred chef competition): astonishing! In the dining room, the chef's father shares anecdotes behind the dishes on the menu that make them even more enjoyable.

07/12/2025: I was there with my family, unfortunately it was all negative. We had 3 grilled fish and a mixed fried fish, the grilled fish was burnt and the fried fish was soft and greasy, the hot house white wine was served in a carafe placed inside the ice bucket and to finish it off, lemon sorbet made up of 3 scoops of ice cream with a little vodka, all this with a truly excessive price both for the place that needs renovating and for the quality of food and service.
