10/02/2025: It's beautiful here! If you're tired of touristy Grado, come here. A picture-perfect tavern: quaint, with excellent and delicious food, served promptly, the owner is right there with you, and the staff is quick and friendly. You won't find the snobbery you find in many other places here. I'm absolutely thrilled!

13/10/2025: The place looked nice and had tables available, but we were told they were all booked. Shortly afterward, however, other customers without reservations were welcomed. A shame, because the first impression wasn't at all positive.

07/10/2025: After a long walk around the Almafi square and town we found the Stella Maris restaurant, kindly asked for a table and was asked in a rude manner drinks or food, we asked for a table with shade as there was plenty available and was then told drinks available table would only be available in the sun. We selected our drinks which was 6 euros for a beer and approx 12 euros for a cocktail which was displayed in the menu, when the bill arrived they charged us 46 euros for 4 drinks, basically don’t sit in this restaurant for drinks especially if you are English, I hardly leave reviews but thought this review was required as a warning!! Our day at the Almafi coast was beautiful though, choose your restaurant wisely though!

27/07/2025: Brutta esperienza Sode di cozze acqua calda non c'era ne aglio prezzemolo e olio erano cozze a mollo. Spaghetti alle vongole salati Risotto alla pescatora sembra che avessero ripulito i piatti vecchi tutto ammucchiato insipido Frittura di moscardini fritta e frullata Forse è meglio riguardare la cucina Veramente dire delusa e poco senza parlare del conto 😱

07/06/2025: Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno con la mia famiglia in questo ristorante. La location è carina, alcuni piatti sono buoni, ma il servizio confusionario. Ho chiesto due volte un'altra focaccia, mai arrivata. Un secondo cestino di pane l'ho dovuto chiedere tre volte. Antipasto zi rocco meritevole, anche se per i miei standard un po' esiguo nella quantità. Mi ha colpito in negativo la grigliata di pesce. Un pezzetto di pesce, uno scampo, due gamberi. Non tornerò

18/08/2025: We had dinner with my girlfriend and we had a truly wonderful time! The wait staff was very kind and helpful and gave us excellent advice on what to order. I recommend the house wine; we really enjoyed it. As for the food, we couldn't have expected better. It's unusual for us, but we personally complimented the chef because we had the best pasta with clams we've ever had. The tiramisu was also delicious and well-balanced. Finally, we had a pleasant chat with the owner, who explained the wonderful history of Campobasso and recommended some great beaches to visit the next day. We felt right at home! We'll definitely be back.

11/07/2025: Unfortunately, the quality was poor. Fried food was too greasy. Pasta with clams was not up to par. Clean and friendly. Expensive for the amount of food.

08/11/2025: It was an okay experience overall. The food was decent but nothing particularly special, and the flavors were fairly average compared to other spots in the area. The service was fine, and the atmosphere was nice enough, but it didn’t really stand out. A decent place for a quick meal, but not something I’d go out of my way to visit again.

02/11/2025: Came here as part of a tour group. Was initially quite worried when I saw the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised with our lunch. We had a full salad starter, a margherita pizza, sorbet, and sfogliatelle. The food was very simple but tasted hot and fresh. Can appreciate that this is a massive operation for several large your groups, so manage your expectations accordingly.

20/05/2025: Accueil à revoir et aucun effort pour comprendre. Les plats arrivent avec 10 min d'intervalle donc pour manger ensemble cela est un peu compliqué. De plus, pas beaucoup de saveur, les langoustines a peine cuite, le thon fade et les plats relativement gras. Sans parler du café servi dans un gobelet en plastique, que dire de plus. Et au moment de partir très difficile de dire au revoir. A fuir, vraiment déçu

06/08/2025: At ikke denne restauranten har fått bedre anmeldelser får meg til å lure. Vi måtte dog vente en stund på maten de gangene vi var der, men når den kom så smakte det utsøkt. Vi bestilte både sjømat, biff og pizza i løpet av oppholdet vårt, og vi skal definitivt bestille det igjen! Sjømaten og pizzaen var helt nydelig. Den ene dagen var det også underholdning av en gammeldags klovn på Toreg rett ved siden av - det ga et ekstra kult preg til besøket! Veldig stemningssettenye underholdning og flott show

04/08/2025: Se cercate un ristorante con una vista da cartolina che vi faccia dimenticare di mangiare bene, La Scesa è il vostro posto ideale. L’oste ci accoglie con quell’aria da “so tutto io” e, quando chiediamo di sederci comodi a un tavolo da otto (eravamo in quattro, mica un esercito), ci piazza vicino a una pianta super appuntita. Per chi ama il brivido del “pungiglione a sorpresa” mentre mastica, è un’esperienza unica. Ordiniamo pappardelle al cinghiale e paccheri, ma sorpresa! Finite entrambe le paste. Ci viene data come alternativa una pasta diversa, tipo spaghetti al posto delle pappardelle, che diciamolo, non è proprio la stessa esperienza. Nessuna comunicazione preventiva, nessuna proposta decente: quando faccio notare con ironia, il cameriere risponde sminuendo la situazione. Momento cult della serata: il cameriere porta il mio piatto e, invece di dire “pappardelle al cinghiale”, annuncia “tipo terra”. Buttando l’occhio ho capito che fosse per me. Nome creativo, ma poco invitante. Faccio il primo boccone e se il cinghiale fosse un supereroe, qui è una povera comparsa nascosta che non sa di niente e fa solo da contorno alla cornice e sapeva di carne macinata generica, forse l’avevano scambiata per polpettine da mensa. Gli altri puntano su una frittura di calamari… in quantità ridotta, accompagnata da lime. Sì, lime. Quel frutto che dovrebbe esaltare i sapori, ma qui ha fatto il lavoro opposto: ha coperto tutto, come una diva che ruba la scena. Sul fronte servizio, lavorando anche io nella ristorazione faccio un applauso alle scelte: portare i bicchieri senza vassoi e, peggio ancora, appoggiare il vassoio sul tavolo. Per i non addetti, è un po’ come portare un piatto di spaghetti e buttarli sul pavimento con stile. Morale? Se volete una vista da urlo e siete pronti a digiunare o a mangiare roba da fast food mascherata da gourmet, La Scesa fa per voi. Se invece cercate cibo che meriti il viaggio, cercate altrove.

13/04/2025: Excellent pizzas. I think they changed the pizza chef because I received two top-notch pizzas. I'm not a fan of takeout pizzas for various reasons, but tonight I changed my mind. Hot and delicious!

16/07/2025: Il locale è molto carino, sul temo. Il personale è gentile, non abbiamo atteso molto per mangiare. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto di mare che abbiamo condiviso e due primi fuori menù. Linguine al granchio molto molto buone e un altro piatto linguine e... Altre cose, non era un piatto equilibrato e saporito. Non ci è piaciuto. Una cheesecake.... Abbiamo ordinato un bicchiere di vino, caldo. Ordinato uno successivo facendo richiesta specifica sulla temperatura, è arrivato caldo. Non un po' fresco. Caldo, a luglio. Abbiamo pagato 90 euro. Un antipasto, due primi, un dolce, un acqua, una coca e due bicchieri di vino caldo.

15/07/2025: Hice una reserva con antelación para una mesa en la terraza, pero cuando llegué a tiempo, otras personas se habían sentado allí y mi mesa se había ido. El camarero me dijo que “alguien olvidó anotar la reserva” – sin disculpas, sin explicaciones, nada. Me ofrecieron una mesa dentro, y honestamente, lamento haber aceptado. La comida no era lo que parecía en el menú, carente tanto de sabor como de presentación. Además de eso, me pareció bastante caro para lo que sirven. La noche anterior, cené en Locanda di, y la diferencia era noche y día – mucho mejor comida y un servicio mucho más profesional. En resumen: no se toman en serio las reservas, el servicio es descuidado y la comida no justifica el precio. No voy a volver.

27/06/2025: Ormai è tradizione una volta l’anno venire a cena qui e la qualità rimane sempre ottima, sia per quanto riguarda i piatti che per il servizio. La carbonara di mare è assolutamente da provare!

27/06/2025: Non posso dire nulla sulla qualità del cibo perchéottimo! Arriviamo alle 13.30 (dopo una mattinata all'ospedale civile di brescia) ordiniamo abbondante (di fatti 153 euro spesi) alle 14.20 mentre ancora pranziamo la titolare si avvicina dicendo che alle 14.30 chiudono completamente tutto anche il locale! Praticamente ci caccia! Sbigottiti abbiamo chiesto di portare via tutto nei contenitori! Senza parole...

11/09/2025: I had the worst experience of my life at this "restaurant," if you can call it that. We ordered a plate of scallops and a roast. Well, we were served identical grilled meat for both the roast and the scallops, and they told us that's how they cooked their roast. The meat was inedible, the prices were incredibly high! I don't understand how a place like this is still open.

12/10/2025: Terrible place. Rude and unfriendly staff.

11/10/2025: Raw pasta, they insisted it was al dente. Waited an hour for a subpar fried dish. Not recommended. High price not justified by the service.

28/02/2025: Io sono stato qui più giorni ed ho usufruito del servizio sia spiaggia che ristorante e bar e devo dire sono tutte al top. Per la spiaggia consiglio i posti sulle rocce più distanziati e più ventilati, i pranzo sono fantastico prenotate una delle paste del giorno è non sbaglierete per poi finire con un aperitivo al tramonto Il personale è gentilissimo e simpaticissimo Veramente bravi

04/11/2025: What a beautiful place. Wide selection of dishes. Traditional restaurant frequented by gondoliers and Venetians. Full lunch for €20. Not to be missed. We know it's certainly not a Michelin-starred restaurant... but much better, a homey atmosphere. Congratulations.
