19/08/2025: Good food, but the experience was ruined by the management! We visited this restaurant recently with colleagues with high expectations, driven by the positive reviews of the food, and I must say we weren't disappointed: well-cooked dishes, quality ingredients, and decent portions. Unfortunately, however, the experience was severely compromised by the attitude of the owner, Mr. "Rude." Instead of welcoming customers with kindness and professionalism, we were met with rude, almost annoyed, and zero attention to detail. We felt like we were "being a nuisance," not welcome guests. A real shame, because the kitchen deserves a much better management: with a more courteous welcome and a little more attention, the restaurant would have all the makings of a point of reference. I don't know if we'll return: eating well is important, but feeling welcomed is just as important.

08/07/2025: Good food, just like grandma used to make. Friendly service! You don't have to have high expectations, but if you want to eat well without spending a fortune, this is the place! If I stop by, I'll gladly come back. Mauro! Always in good shape! 🥰

15/10/2025: We spent one night at this hotel. Our request for three single beds was granted. But that's the only positive thing I can report. The room furnishings are very dated. The bathroom was unusable due to hygiene deficiencies. The toilet seat was loose, the shower was completely moldy, the towel rack was torn off, and the mirror was opaque. Even the provided cosmetic products were of no use. The price is definitely far too high. The question is whether you can even set a price for something like that. I'm not waiting for an unfriendly response from the owner. Breakfast and parking were available, but they can't make up for the terrible night in this hotel. After all, I book a hotel room to sleep and shower, not to park and eat breakfast.

15/07/2025: Good parking, standard welcome, upon arrival I found the air conditioning off and very hot (it works with a card). Toilet seat had to be refitted 😂. Shower had stains all over. Walls near the bed were quite dirty. I couldn't find a place to put my suitcase. The fridge was completely empty, even missing a glass to put my toothbrush. Two measly shower sachets. Booked two colleagues in two rooms.

26/10/2025: Terrible experience...the only thing worth noting is the view. We arrived at 8 PM and had our pizza (inedible) at 11 PM. I absolutely do not recommend it!!!

15/09/2025: ...here, Sicilians gather to dance in large groups, in step... The house's location is spectacular, overlooking the city, about 20 km away. The food is indeed as bad as most reviews warn... (spilled maître d' on wilted lettuce...horrible... There's no other restaurant here with a view...and we had a bed and breakfast nearby and were hungry... ;-)). The next day, we brought bread, wine, and olives from town...

21/10/2025: If you're in Cetera, Italy, you can't miss this restaurant. The dishes are delicious and abundant, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service is impeccable: the staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to make your experience perfect. The atmosphere is warm, tidy, and ideal for sharing a special moment with family or friends. A must-visit for authentic Italian cuisine! 🇮🇹🍝🍷

06/10/2025: The first impression was that the waiter was unprofessional and lacking in empathy. We ordered dishes. The various bruschettas were excellent, the spaghetti alla colatura was very good. We had ordered two mussel soups, but when they arrived at the table, they smelled bad. We didn't even touch them. We called the waiter and demonstrated the poor quality and freshness of the mussels. They were immediately sent back, explaining the situation. The waiter replied that they were Dutch mussels, and now it's not the time for mussels. We replied that the day before, at a restaurant, the mussels had been beautiful and delicious. I told them to remove them from the menu; this is a health issue, it's risking your health. I absolutely wouldn't have brought them to the table. We had been to this restaurant years ago, but I wasn't expecting such a situation. The only thing is, the various bruschettas with fish were excellent, but the service was forgettable.

27/10/2025: Chosen based on its proximity to a hotel so as not to stray too far from the area. The place was practically empty on a Thursday night. The food was good and plentiful, simple and authentic. A typical local spot.

26/10/2025: The worst. Better to stay hungry than eat in this place. Pizza is terrible. If I hadn't eaten pizza in other restaurants in Rome and only ate in this particular place, I would have thought that Italian pizza is a fairy tale. The prices are very high while the food is not worth it at all. But the service is even worse. They don't love what they do. They hate it and it shows. Stay away from them.

25/10/2025: The food was okay, but the service was not good and rather unpleasant. They constantly try to make money off you; if you order wine, a bottle is opened right at your table. The most outrageous thing, however, was the €17 service charge on the bill, along with the note that tips weren't included. Simply a tourist rip-off.

12/10/2025: The diner offers an excellent option for a beach meal. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. The "rain soup" is a real hit.

10/10/2025: When we entered, the service was unfriendly. The pizza crust wasn't fresh; it looked like a pre-made one. Worst pizza we've ever eaten. When we mentioned the "coperto," which we thought was €3 per person, a young cashier started yelling at us even as we were standing outside. No manners to speak to people like that! Definitely not recommended!

17/09/2025: I was thinking of having dinner, but it was closed even though it said open on Google Maps. A wasted trip from Milazzo. Update Google Maps!!

03/09/2025: A good seafood restaurant right on the Capo d'Orlando seafront. I recommend booking a table outside. It's very beautiful in the evening, especially at sunset. Prices are slightly above average, but the seafood is of high quality. My only advice, if you're a large group, is to avoid ordering a thousand different dishes. After a day at the beach, it's nice to eat here while sipping a good white wine.

31/08/2025: It's always worth returning to places where you enjoy yourself. I Carusi is one of them. Good food, well-cooked! Always fresh, top-quality fish.

25/04/2025: Non posso fare una recensione sul cibo perché non ho potuto assaggiarlo. Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per cena, arrivati all'orario previsto, abbiamo trovato il locale strapieno, ci siamo rivolti ad un cameriere che in evidente imbarazzo ci ha indirizzati al gestore, il quale in modo molto sbrigativo ci ha chiesto di aspettare che ci avrebbe dato il tavolo appena se ne fosse liberato uno... ?? Ma che modi sono? Se pensi di non poter assicurare un tavolo non accetti prenotazioni. Se il cliente pensa di avere un tavolo riservato è evidente che non deve poi trovarsi fuori dal locale in piedi ad aspettare, altrimenti che senso ha prenotare? Nessun rispetto per il cliente Siamo andati a mangiare nel locale vicino, abbiamo mangiato bene e siamo stati serviti subito

10/06/2025: Fuimos y nos fuimos por lo grosero que era el camarero, que resultó ser el dueño. Nunca volveremos a este lugar aunque fuera el único abierto.

26/04/2025: Posizione stupenda in riva al lago, specie il dehors. Cibo ottimo e buon vino. Ci ritornerò sicuramente anche in altre stagioni.

02/05/2025: Per me è una garanzia .... tutto impeccabile..dalla qualità del cibo , alla gentilezza del personale. Parcheggio comodissimo e ci sono anche le camere nella struttura.

22/08/2025: I spent a truly enjoyable day at the Calypso chalet in Porto d'Ascoli. The beach is well-kept and tidy, with well-arranged umbrellas and loungers. Special thanks to the owners, beach staff, and bar staff: everyone was friendly, helpful, and always attentive to guests' needs. I had a wonderful lunch, with fresh, high-quality dishes. Highly recommended for those seeking relaxation, a warm welcome, and excellent cuisine by the sea.

22/08/2025: I ordered a mojito that was, to say the least, horrendous and, therefore, undrinkable. Poor-quality tonic water, to boot, with half a lemon, a dash of some unidentified alcohol, no cane sugar, a tiny green leaf, and lots and lots of ice! After paying, the young waitress politely and professionally apologized profusely to my complaints, while the owner, unperturbed, remained absorbed in thought with a disgraceful indifference. This is not how you treat customers; you scare them away!
