08/08/2025: We’ve been coming to Calanova for years, and it’s never once slipped. Sometimes it’s a pleasant, lazy lunch to celebrate something, sometimes a romantic evening when the light’s just right, and sometimes for no reason at all, other than knowing it’s going to be good. It’s hard to beat the setting: tables under old cork trees, the sea right there, and that quiet elegance that doesn’t try too hard. The menu changes with the catch, but there are standouts we always look forward to: the fresh, crisp misticanza, perfectly cooked verdesca, honey-glazed octopus, paccheri with monkfish, pink grapefruit and olive powder, a tiramisù worth guarding with your life, and the caffè gourmand, which is really just permission to have dessert twice. Service is warm, switched-on and never over the top. After so many visits, the only thing that’s changed is how quickly we book the next one.

03/08/2025: Un tempo era quel che sembrava. Un bel ristorante sulla spiaggia. Poi hanno ridotto le porzioni inserito piatti improbabili adottato la ‘r’ moscia e son piu cari di Milano.

18/07/2025: una serata a tratti gradevole quanto sgradevole. Da ospite mi sono sentito trattato con poca cura e attenzione. Come se fosse un fastidio avermi. Attesa lunghissima per il cibo, l’acqua non ci è stata servita nemmeno una volta ordinata, solo quando un cameriere si è avvicinato e per sbaglio pensando di avere i nostri piatti ha gridato “ma questi non ha nemmeno l’acqua” e si sono accorti che non avevamo l’acqua. Abbiamo provato a chiarmali ma la cameriera se passava abbasava lo sguardo e non faceva contatto visivo. Il peggio è stato al momento del pagamento. Ci siamo recati in casso per evitare ancora una volta una lunga attesa, al bancone ci dicono che ci portano il conto al tavolo, dopo 20 minuti, locale quasi vuoto vicini alla chiusura, camerieri in piedi: alcuni a fumare, a chiacchierare, alcuni a sparecchiare i tavoli vuoti, nessuno ci porta il conto. Vado al bancone per chiedere il conto e lo staff parla non degnando di un’attenzione, allora interrompo la conversazione per chiedere il conto e la donna al bancone si allontana dicendo che manda qualcuno, chiamano la cameriera che ci ha servito e ci dice che non può farci il conto senza la donna che si allontana, alla fine la donna torna e ci fa il conto al bancone. Sembrava una presa in giro per perdere tempo o semplicemente non volevano parlare con noi. Il motivo mi è ignoto. Comunque esperienza sgradevole, ambiente per niente piacevole

05/07/2025: Ottimo ristorante!!! Cibo eccellente preparato con cura e ingredienti freschi. Personale gentile e sempre attento. Il proprietario è impeccabile, accogliente e professionale. Bella atmosfera, rilassante ma elegante. Il mio posto preferito a Fregene!Consigliatissimo!

21/07/2025: Yes... There's a motocross course nearby. Yes... In the afternoon they get a bit noisy, but that's it... At 5:30 PM the sun sets behind the peak and silence descends... A magnificent, astonishing silence, and at night??? The stars, which we can enjoy while lounging on the loungers in front of the pool. I was already VERY impressed by the fact that my dogs were welcomed, and then I found the owners to be two wonderful and kind people who accommodated us wherever we asked! The location is quite strategic; there are tons of activities nearby (in addition to the motocross and regularity training camp). Go there!

15/08/2025: I ordered sea bass with vegetables. I waited a long time (7:00 p.m.). The fish was mediocre. The vegetables were forgettable: lots of potatoes, very few grated carrots, and olives. When I order vegetables, I don't mean potatoes.

14/08/2025: On August 14th, my family and I went to this place. When we pointed out that we had a special deal with a hotel, the owner refused to offer the discount, appearing rude and unprofessional.

03/08/2025: Al ritorno da una scampagnata, io, moglie e figlia abbiamo prenotato per cena in questo storico locale pesarese. Accolti da una gentile signora, sistemati fronte mare con un panorama mozzafiato, abbiamo ordinato tre pizze (gamberi e zucchine, una margherita e una pescatora) e bevande (sprite, una birra media e una bottiglia di acqua). Le pizze del tipo napoletano direi eccezionali: impasto soffice, ottimo e digeribile con abbondante guarnitura, compresa la pizza margherita servita con mozzarella in quantità (concordi nel giudizio anche consorte e figlia). Abbiamo terminato con una buona zuppa inglese. Servizio veloce e discreto. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Desidero segnalare la provata gentilezza della titolare, cosa rara questi periodi. In sostanza una bella sorpresa. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

05/07/2025: we learned that the real Florentine steak is with fillet, at the trattoria da Carla, mother of the current owner, you eat divinely ... the Florentine steak melted in your mouth, the tagliatelle made strictly by hand with wild boar ragù amazing ... the place is well-kept, the kitchen (always shown to us by the owner ... and it's not for everyone ...) very clean ... compliments to everyone we will definitely return ... obviously recommended for info: it is not open 24 hours a day as erroneously reported on the web 🤣🤣🤣

03/08/2025: Excellent dinner and really friendly and nice staff. You can range from pizza to meat, but they also have fish-based options. Everything I ate was delicious. The value for money is also good.

02/08/2025: We arrived at 8:30 PM and were served a truly embarrassing pizza at 9:30 PM, Woat (the worst ever)! The place probably specializes in fish, so I won't comment further.

A particularly positive aspect: the prices are significantly cheaper than those of nearby restaurants—and the quality is this good! You feel completely at home. For me, this is one of the best restaurants in the area. I'll definitely be back!
