14/08/2024: I went to this beautiful restaurant for dinner. We ate fish dishes, everything was very good, impeccable service, friendly and very professional. Position of the tables practically on the lake.

01/08/2024: Nice restaurant, but waiting 1.5 hours for an order seems a bit too much to me. And we arrived before the other tables, at least an hour before them, but they were served before us. There were three of us, the others were 5-6.

21/07/2024: The most authentic and good quality restaurant in Verona. The seafood is bought fresh every day and is of the highest quality possible. Please go out of your way to visit this restaurant.

01/09/2024: Absolutely not. We got a spot/parked relatively quickly. You almost had to insist on a simple drink order. I'll say straight away that in the 45 minutes that followed, we weren't asked what drink we wanted once. The glasses stood empty on the table for a long time. The starter, melon with ham, was a long time coming. For 14 euros 3 balls of melon with ham and wilted lettuce leaves and dried orange slices as decoration. The food was also ordered along with the drink order. We felt uneasy for the first time when almost all the guests around us had already received their food. After 45 minutes our pasta (quite simple for any kitchen) still wasn't there. We asked for the bill and paid for everything except the noodles. We received a small apology -> yes, there's a lot going on today..... and many of the tables have already been re-set. A shop like this doesn't deserve to serve such a beautiful location. Do yourself a favor, go two meters further into Tropical. That all fits.

31/08/2024: Risotto ai frutti di mare molto buono e ricco di pesce ben lavorato. Servizio molto attento e piacevole. Veranda ben ventilata e ombreggiata, nonostante il caldo torrido.

29/08/2024: Sono stato a pranzo con moglie e figlia, ci siamo accomodati fuori perché dentro era pieno, abbiamo notato subito delle formiche sul tavolo ma non importa, il punto è che ci hanno appoggiato sul tavolo il menù, una volta sfogliato a tipasti primi e secondi alla fine vediamo spiegato il meccanismo del menù a pranzo dove puoi scegliere la combinazione tra: primo o secondo + contorno + acqua e caffè 13€ - primo + secondo + acqua e caffè 15€. Sfogliati i vari piatti ordiniamo un piatto a testa e un contorno a testa. Nessuna spiegazione da parte dei camerieri, arrivo alla cassa e mi fanno pagare ogni portata "alla carta", direi che siete stati disonesti o perlomeno per niente d'aiuto nel farci capire cosa intendete con il vostro menù. Sollevo la rimostranza e mi rispondono in due persone in modo molto arrogante e maleducato, io spiego che mi capita spesso il menù fisso a pranzo ed è un foglio a parte, non una pagina del menù, altrimenti è molto ingannevole. Ma al di là della spesa rimango senza parole riguardo l'arroganza con la quale mi hanno aggredito. Pessima esperienza sotto tanti aspetti e non li elenco tutti.

29/08/2024: We ordered 3 pizzas, the edges are very fluffy which I personally like in a pizza. I had to quickly change my order because the previous order didn't correspond to what I wanted...so I quickly "skimmed" the pizza menu and ordered the "Buffolina" from the very listless waiter. A baby pizza with ham for our son. As mentioned, pizza had a fluffy edge, but the toppings on the pizza left something to be desired. There were a few halves of small tomatoes on it and 2!!!!!!! Basil leaves (this is explicitly mentioned on the menu! But I don't have to mention that because there are 2 small leaves, right?). In my opinion, a disgrace. Especially when you have seen what other pizzas were topped with - and that was more than enough. The ham pizza for the little one was of course without ham. In terms of taste, yes you can eat it, but you don't have to. We went to the first place we found to eat because the little one was already tired and we were happy that we got a seat right away. However, we won't eat there anymore.

02/09/2024: 15 minutes from the Arena, this warmly welcoming restaurant offers an air-conditioned interior space or a terrace. The dishes offered on the menu are excellent. Fine and delicious preparation. The Vitelo Tonato and the Tiramisu seduced me. Fast and discreet service. We come there on foot because we are in the city center with traffic and parking restrictions.

02/09/2024: I had very high expectations towards this place but unfortunately was disappointed. As a vegetarian the choices were limited which is understandable but the dishes weren't rich in flavour either. Excellent service and nice atmosphere though.

28/08/2024: This is a restaurant located in the historic center of Verona, where most of its clientele are Veronese, who come here for lunch in the middle of their working day. Its offer is therefore far from the many restaurants for tourists that swarm the area, and to my way of thinking, it makes it extremely attractive for a visitor like me, who in addition to knowing the classic tourist spots, he also likes to try to enjoy a little of the day-to-day life of the city. A €15 menu of local cuisine made with love, including two courses, bread and water, and a menu with reasonable prices, is one of Vecchia Fontanina's strong points. The waiters, Veronese from soca-rel (I asked them), professional, but at the same time super attentive and extremely close if you put your foot in them, is the other strong point. It is spectacular to see them moving at full speed, paying attention to everything, with a particular grace, which will be etched in my memory as one of the most beautiful memories I take with me from Verona. We went there for lunch with my wife and son, by chance, and we all left so delighted, that we did it again the next day. Too bad we live so far from Verona, as we will hardly be able to go back. By the way, if you feel like trying a dessert, I recommend the Catalan cream with black pepper and mint. A delicious reinterpretation of the traditional recipe that will blow your mind...

13/08/2024: Antipasto tris di pesce con presenza di una mosca morta nella trota! Come rovinarci la cena e la serata ancor prima d’iniziare! Primi piatti molto scadenti e ambiente per nulla curato..alzavi gli occhi e ti trovavi una miriade di ragni di media dimensione che ti sorvolavano la testa! Ordinato una bottiglia di vino presente nel menù ma non nel ristorante. Un vero peccato per una location del genere!

23/08/2024: We spent 2 weeks on holiday at Lake Garda, the restaurant and pizzeria (and hotel) at Cervo is the only one we returned to for dinner. Modern and very clean room, the bathroom looks like a living room, in fact there is also a TV. We tried both the restaurant and the pizzeria, finding high quality ingredients and recipes with really interesting twists, such as the pasta with carbonara enriched with smoked eel instead of the usual bacon. The pizza stands out for having a high edge and a fragrant dough, very digestible because it has risen for 72 hours, in fact it does not produce crumbs as it is never dry. Absolutely worth trying.

15/08/2024: We ate pizza in the evening. The pizza was very very tasty. One of the best we've had in Italy so far. You can easily recommend them. The service was a bit slow and inattentive. Overall, the food was very good and the price was reasonable.

14/08/2024: I stopped by to eat alone the day before Ferragosto. The restaurant was full. I had a mixed fry and a glass of Lugana. Good food! Fast times and helpful waiters. A nice restaurant with a lot of attention to detail! ADVISED

24/06/2024: We lived in the back building next door, which was completely ok. The hallway is in desperate need of renovation, but the rooms were great. Breakfast was served in the main building and was excellent. The very beautiful pool 100m away with a huge hotel park, simply wonderful.

20/06/2024: We had a nice room on the 2nd floor. If you have big feet, you have problems. Our room was so small that there was hardly any space to walk around the bed without having to support yourself. The room was clean and had a view of the lake but was quite small. Breakfast and location are great, as is the locked parking lot. The staff speaks German and is super friendly.
