20/11/2025: A top-notch restaurant. The atmosphere is elegant and very relaxed, the staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable, and the dishes are truly excellent. The first courses in particular, as you can see from the photos, were astounding for their flavor and the fact that everything was homemade, even the desserts. The quality/price ratio is fair.

22/10/2025: I ordered the stir-fried clams and pasta, which wasn't quite to my liking, as the flavor was bland and the noodles were quite firm. 🥲 My friends also commented on the other two dishes, saying the noodles were too firm. If you prefer softer noodles, I suggest ordering pizza instead. The tomato sauce on the Margherita pizza was just right, not too sweet or too sour. The crust was a bit dry on the outside, so a drizzle of the restaurant's olive oil made it easier to eat.

06/12/2025: Based on previous reviews, I made a reservation for lunch here. It was okay, but quite busy. There's a lot of staff running around and not always keeping the right timing at your table. The dishes themselves are good, especially the ham starter is delicious. The pastas are tasty, but cooked softly instead of al dente.

03/11/2025: I've been going to Antica Arillica at least once a year since I was a child: first with my parents, now with my boyfriend. It's a place I hold dear to my heart. The hostess is always kind and helpful, and the food is excellent, as always. My evenings at Antica Arillica have always been a way to celebrate the people I love and enjoy excellent food in a welcoming atmosphere.

09/09/2025: The best restaurant in the world!! My partner and I have been going to this restaurant for 3 years. If you like good food and a truly indulgent experience, come here! There are no restaurants this good on Lake Garda, especially with their quality, cleanliness, and attention to every detail! 😍

16/12/2025: We'd been to this restaurant a couple of years ago and had a great time, so we weren't aware of the change in management. The staff are friendly, and they explain the entire menu and the various courses. It's obvious they're new and are keen to differentiate themselves from other places. The dishes are good, but the portions are small. Dessert, however, was disappointing: we ordered the panna cotta (it arrives as a thin slice of panna cotta covered in various sauces, so the flavor is nonexistent. €8 for chestnut and fig cream is too much). For four of us, we spent €130, so prices are a bit high.

09/12/2025: Outside, a simple door with a plaque welcomes you, but upon entering, you're greeted by a warm, quaint, and well-maintained atmosphere (I prefer something more modern, but that's just my personal preference). The menu (which varies depending on the season) features a few carefully prepared dishes, beautifully presented, and top-quality ingredients. The desserts were truly delicious, worthy of the entire meal. The service was prompt and precise, and the staff were always smiling, with that much-appreciated conviviality.

25/11/2025: The Amarone risotto was truly delicious. The selection of red wines was also excellent. Recommended 😊

10/11/2025: We were a group of six friends, two of us vegan, and everything was prepared vegan, delicious as were the other dishes! The set menu is varied, and you leave feeling full! Very fair prices, a dream location, and the owners are incredibly kind!

04/11/2025: There's nothing I don't love about the Caterina Country House! I've been there several times, and the service has always been excellent, and the food even better. The view is breathtaking and just adds to the experience. I loved it so much, I decided to host my wedding dinner there too: it was an unforgettable experience! Authentic, yet with attention to every detail. I'll be back again and again!

07/12/2025: A lovely pizzeria/osteria with spacious, well-appointed rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are average, food is very good. Ample outdoor parking is available. It's a good choice.

18/10/2025: Very good menu. All our pizzas arrived quite quickly even though it was a Friday evening and busy. I believe the restaurant must have a very good name as it fill up very quickly with a lot of locals which is always a good sign. The staff were friendly and polite, On a down side I had the impression they wanted you to finish and leave to get the next sitting started as they had people waiting for tables. We had just finished our pudding when they asked if we want a coffee , after saying no the bill was straight under ours nose. Would we go back, yes would be the answer

04/09/2025: Absolutely spectacular seafood restaurant with very nice location on a secluded small square close to the old fish market! We ordered pasta with shrimps and a lobster dish. Perfectly prepared and distinct taste. We had to order another dish, octopus this time. It was also cooked to perfection! Will recommend to friends that are going to Verona soon!

14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

10/10/2025: We had a very good meal here—not for the first time. Grilled trout and Fritzi the Mare. It was reasonably priced.
