I had dinner a few nights ago at this pizzeria, where I returned a few years after my last vacation in Verona. I remembered the delicious pizza, and it was exactly that again. The pizza is truly delicious, with a thick crust and generous toppings of quality ingredients. They also have gluten-free and lactose-free options, and if the pizzas on the menu aren't quite to your liking, they'll let you make variations. If you like classic Neapolitan pizza, you absolutely must visit this pizzeria.

I went without a reservation and they gave me a table to myself. The service was excellent and the food was spectacular. Unbeatable value for money.

The place was a bit run-down and not very inviting. But it was clean. The pizza, however, was very, very delicious, and the two ladies who served us were super nice! The salad was simple but very, very fresh!

Located smack in the touristic part of Verona, this place unfortunately feels like another overpriced trap. Despite the '1924' branding, the authenticity is missing. We tried three pizzas; the Diavola wasn't spicy at all, and the others were just 'so-so' and lacked flavor. Even the chili oil had no kick.
The pasta was overcooked, and we had to 'swim' through the sauce to find a few tiny pieces of octopus. The meatballs felt like they were bought from a supermarket, and the Aubergine Lasagna starter barely tasted of aubergine. We also noticed service errors at neighboring tables. It’s hyped but lacks true homemade Italian quality. OK to try once if you're stuck, but there are much better authentic spots nearby.

We are staying in Verona for a couple of days and had been there twice already. The staff is very friendly and the food is really good. Even me as a vegetarian could find different meals here. When you visit Verona, come to this place and you gonna have a great time.
