02/03/2026: A truly welcoming traditional osteria, conveniently located just steps from Castelvecchio, in the heart of Verona. We went for dinner after a late lunch, so we decided to order just three different first courses, just to sample them. We chose: pappardelle with duck ragù, cod tortelli, and tagliolini with rabbit offal. A perfect choice: authentic dishes, well-cooked, and generous portions. A truly positive note also goes to the staff, who were extremely kind and professional: at checkout, without even asking, they gave us a discount, a gesture we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this osteria, especially if you're looking for authentic Veronese cuisine in a central location.

04/11/2025: Lovely meal at Trattoria all Colonna. Very important to book in the evening but we managed to eat without a reservation on Tuesday at lunchtime. Typical local well cooked food from an osteria. Lovely beef carpaccio, followed by penne a la casa which was full of flavour very tasty indeed. All washed down with a beautiful local Veronese red beer - superb! You can get wines by the glass as well. Big thanks also to the kind staff and young man who helped get back an important pink bag full of insulin for my type 1 diabetic fiancé - grazie mille!!

03/04/2026: We had lunch here and it was a wonderful discovery! The dishes were generous and tasty; the gluten-free spaghetti allo scoglio was truly delicious. Davide's friendly and courteous service made everything even more enjoyable; we had a wonderful time.

11/04/2026: Let's start from the end. At the end of the dinner at 11pm we found ourselves with 7 waiters staring at us so they could close up and leave. The strawberries were tasteless, red but not ripe. We ordered the raw and cooked fish boat with a quality of fish that was not the best and the spider crab was always present and tasteless. The lobsters were still leaking water from the fridge. The price paid was double what I expected. A place for tourists. The only thing that saves this place is the enchanting view of the lake.

10/04/2026: Very tasty and reasonably priced pizza. Great view of Lake Garda, as you can sit right there and enjoy the view. All the waiters were incredibly friendly.

18/04/2026: The restaurant was opened in 1971 and recently moved across the street since it outgrew its original location. It has about 10 tables along the sidewalk and a dining room with 4 different "rooms". The menu is in Italian and English. They have 3 beers on tap. The pizza oven is wood burning and what is unique is that inside the oven there is a metal plate that keeps rotating (like in a microwave oven) to ensure uniform baking. The prices are very reasonable. 3 large beers, the pizza (including €2 charge for added mushrooms) and the mixed grilled seafood (that was amazing) cost €51.50

The cuisine is interesting throughout, from starters to desserts, with well-thought-out and meticulously crafted dishes. The prices are slightly above average, but are consistent with the setting and the quality of the venue, without giving the impression of a purely touristy establishment.

02/04/2026: We chose this restaurant at random, as it wasn't busy and children, as everyone knows, don't like to wait long. And we didn't have to wait long at all. The service was fantastic, and all the staff were so attentive and friendly! The children loved their pizza, and our pasta and appetizers were also delicious! The lakeside location was the icing on the cake! Five stars from us for everything!

29/10/2025: We had the pleasure of enjoying our wedding dinner with family at the beautiful Le Gemme. There's only one thing to say: Bravo! It's not just about a meal – what they create here is true art. We were captivated from beginning to end and are still absolutely thrilled, even days after the wedding. The creative, magnificent, and fresh creations by Chef Andrea and the absolutely superb service from Lara are second to none. We felt completely at ease, enjoyed the breathtaking view, and are eager to take a cooking class so we can see them again. If you're visiting the beautiful Lake Garda, Torri del Benaco, Le Gemme should definitely be on everyone's list. It must also be said that the location is unique not only because of the view but also because of the incredible attention to detail. Thank you so much, Lara and Andrea! You gave us an unforgettable evening, and we can't wait to visit you again.

20/10/2025: Cooking workshop of Italian food, in a stunning location with a stunning view of Lake Garda. The hosts Lara and Andrea are pleasant and professional. They taught us how to prepare authentic Italian food of a high standard that was very tasty! Recommended wholeheartedly

28/03/2026: Saturday night at Filù, packed as always, but not at all noisy, so we can chat peacefully. The food is very good, and the service is quick. We really like this place. Another plus for my daughter: dogs aren't allowed, and she, who unfortunately is very scared, feels at ease here.
