28/04/2026: April 2026 - RESTAURANT REVIEW We've been customers at this restaurant many times. Never anything to complain about. The appetizers were good, the first and second courses were good, and the pizza was also good. But this April 25th, we were bitterly surprised by the bill. Three people: 1 tasting menu for two, 1 seafood salad, 2 fried seafood platters, and 1 grilled whitefish. Nothing to complain about the price or the quality of the dishes (in order: €22.80, €17.80, €19.80 for 2, €16.80). I repeat, the ingredients were good, and so was the way they were treated. The surprise came with the side dishes: 2 French fries (small, so to speak) €14, 1 grilled vegetable, 3 slices of zucchini, 3 slices of eggplant, 3 slices of bell pepper, 3 slices of onion €10. Water €0.75, €4.50 for 2. Total €156. Everything was good, but the chips were priced like a barrel of oil, and the grilled vegetables were worth a gram of gold. I did notice, however, that given the beautiful day and the event in the square in Garda, unlike other restaurants, Casa Lady seemed empty. I hope it's not due to the current pricing policy. 13/05/2026: The pizza was truly awful: tough, overcooked, and with no tomato sauce. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly.

12/05/2026: Surprise. Location with a stunning view of the Valpolicella, excellent welcome and service. Excellent food. For a first-time visitor, very satisfied.

03/05/2026: An elegant trattoria located in Bardolino, where you can enjoy traditional Venetian dishes, both meat and fish. We tried the polenta with mushrooms and parmesan as an appetizer and the first courses (pictured, bigoli with duck ragù), all accompanied by a good house wine. Fast service and generous portions. The only thing I recommend considering is purchasing outdoor heaters: it's still chilly these spring evenings, and heaters would allow you to enjoy your dinner to the fullest.

27/04/2026: We had lunch at a lovely trattoria with a covered and uncovered outdoor garden and dining room. The place is elegant and welcoming. The staff are very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. We ate very well. The wine list is excellent. We were happy with the welcome. We'll be back.

24/05/2026: The restaurant is really nice, and from the outside tables you can enjoy a splendid view of the lake. I didn't get to try the restaurant's authentic cuisine because I ordered buffalo mozzarella with Parma ham (which was excellent anyway), but my mother tried the spaghetti with clams and loved it. The service was quick despite the crowds, and the price was overall reasonable; I expected to spend more. I'll keep that in mind for next time.

21/05/2026: Two nights ago, we went out for dinner with friends and had pizza. The pizza was so good, which is why the photo only shows half of it. Today, we were really in the mood for some good pasta. My wife had spaghetti with lemon and shrimp carpaccio with caviar. I had tagliatelle with scallops, zucchini, and shrimp. The dishes were very well prepared and tasted fantastic. It was exactly what we wanted to eat tonight. The very attentive staff even served us a complimentary limoncello and grappa at the end. We'd love to come back again, even during this vacation. For beer, I had Peroni on tap in the original glass and two very well-made Aperol Spritzes.

13/05/2026: The pizza was fresh! You can order by the meter if you're in a large group or an individual pie if one of your party members has a dietary restriction. The staff was professional and attentive. Pricing was great and plenty of seating inside and out. It was fun the sit outside and watch the world go by while enjoying some of the best pizza.

12/05/2026: Highly recommended! A wonderful restaurant with very, very friendly owners, far removed from the tourist traps! Nicola knows his craft and serves fantastic food at reasonable prices. The ingredients are high quality, and you can taste it! The warm and helpful nature of the two owners is a huge plus. Thank you so much; if we manage to visit again on our trip, we'll definitely come back. ☺️

11/05/2026: A small trattoria in the San Zeno square. What can I say? It's probably a small piece of history for this square. The owners are two very kind gentlemen who welcomed us for a business lunch in a very welcoming atmosphere. Despite it being off the menu for the day, they prepared an excellent risotto all'isolana in very generous portions. We didn't even have to wait long, even though they had prepared it especially for us. The service is super friendly and you truly feel welcomed, as if you were at home. Prices are reasonable considering it's in a very central area. You can also eat outside. Recommended.

27/04/2026: We went on a Saturday evening. I had a zucchini, carrot, and pea tartlet as an appetizer. We were pleasantly surprised! It was truly delicious! The pasta sauce was just as good, perfectly cooked. For the main course, there was a pork tartar (I don't remember the name of the dish exactly). The tartar was delicious even on its own, as it had been prepared beforehand. The sauce was a little tart on its own, but it paired divinely with the tartar! The pork was also perfectly cooked, and the sauces were delicious! For dessert, there was a lemon tartine and a chocolate tartine! Judging by the taste of the dishes, I expected the place to be packed, because they deserve it! The waiters were very kind, and the place was super clean! Not a trace of dust or cobwebs, and I was amazed by the bathroom walls, which were so spotless, it looked like they'd been plastered a few hours earlier! We'll definitely be back!

19/04/2026: Chose by chance for lunch with six other friends. It turned out to be an excellent choice: public parking in the square outside, a nice, bright place, lawn and plants surrounding the place, and friendly, professional staff. The menu had a good selection, and the dishes we were served were delicious; even the cured meats were high-quality. The price was fair, and they didn't rush us out even though they'd supposedly closed for thirty minutes.

08/06/2026: The food was incredibly generous and of excellent quality. The service was discreet and efficient. A very popular spot, and it's easy to see why!

08/06/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant and had a very positive experience. The menu is extensive and varied, but the house specialty is undoubtedly the fish, excellent both in the raw and fresh versions and in the cooked versions. The service was fast and very friendly, and the final bill confirmed excellent value for the quality offered. The only real drawback is the high attendance: to eat on the beautiful lakefront veranda, you often have to wait a long time. To avoid the line, I strongly recommend arriving early: no later than 12:00 for lunch and no later than 7:00 for dinner. Overall, a highly recommended place.

18/05/2026: I have to say I had a really good time. Family lunch in the outdoor area inside. A few misunderstandings when ordering, but I find that normal when there are a lot of people. The dishes were well-made, the first courses were very tasty. The Thai rice was wonderful. Well done!

06/06/2026: Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied with the food. The seating was nice, but otherwise everything was rather basic and not that great. The fillet was half-alive and the pizza had no flavor. Overall, they didn't use enough salt.

15/05/2026: First time in Verona and wifey and myself dined here after seeing this place online. Prompt reply from booking through Google maps. Menu is great and lots to choose from. We had the carbonara and basmati rice with lemon chicken and soy sauce along with a white wine. Everything was delicious and weel priced. Staff very friendly and atmosphere great. The place is small and on a side street so very relaxed. Highly recommend!

10/05/2026: A very cute and well-kept place, attentive and helpful staff, but above all... a fabulous pizza! The dough is absolutely unrivaled, incredibly light and easy to digest, the kind that makes you want to come back the next day. Quality ingredients, perfect cooking, and a truly rare balance of flavors. I live in Milan and can say without hesitation that I've never had a pizza this good: it alone is worth the trip to Verona. Congratulations!

08/05/2026: Incredible! This restaurant should have a Michelin Star! Incredible food, recommending the Bigoli with Duck. Warm and friendly service, nice and quiet atmosphere. This restaurant should get way more recognition for serving local Venetian cuisine with local ingredients - and better tasting food than most Bib Gourmand or even Michelin Star rated restaurants! Freshly baked and still warm bread rolls as an entree with whipped butter and great olive oil. Tagliata al tartufo Nero with great tasting fresh truffle. Incredible pasta and great tartar. Nice plating and very reasonable pricing. Well worth the trip even if you have to drive some hours to get here. Located in a small and village in Venetia with rustic stone walls and ceilings. The best food we had in all of Venetia. If you are anywhere near Lake Garda this should be a must visit on your trip if you enjoy fine dining.
