30/12/2025: I didn't want to sit in the usual tourist-trafficking restaurants facing the arena, and this seemed perfect to me... The entrance leaves no doubt; you can see the intention to give the place class, even if entering with a stroller the spaces are a bit narrow. We choose two classics: Amarone and radicchio risotto, Valeggio tortellini, and a pasta in bianco for our granddaughter. The first thing, in my opinion, was wrong: the tortellini arrived in broth, then the risottos a few minutes later. Now, since the risotto requires more time and the tortellini cook more quickly, I thought it was right to serve everything at the same time. The risotto was perfectly cooked but very peppery and salty; the flavor of the Treviso cheese was overpowered by the rest. The tortellini dough was good, but the pastry was too sticky and thick. I also didn't like that every time we asked for cheese, the waiter would come over with a cheese bowl, mix it, add a little, and bring it back as if the quantity were limited. Another discordant note was the discrepancy between the price on the menu and the one on the receipt. A risotto cost €21 but was paid €22? At least the little girl didn't pay for the cover charge.

08/03/2026: Very welcoming atmosphere and staff knowledgeable about my allergies (which isn't a given). Very good Neapolitan pizza. I recommend it.

22/02/2026: Very nice and welcoming place, friendly owners and very good pizzeria and cuisine, you must try the delicious cockerel with potatoes, I recommend it!

30/12/2025: I went there on Christmas, so not on a normal day. The food was excellent, and the service was great too. The only problem was that they had packed the room too much, and it was really hard to talk or hear each other.

12/12/2025: A lovely discovery. The place is small, just as I prefer it, but bright and airy. The staff is friendly, the food is well-prepared and delicious. Light and balanced. Friendly staff and excellent prices. What more could you ask for? I'll be back and highly recommend it.

05/01/2026: Loving this seafood restaurant with personal touch. We were offered a glass of Grappa as a new year present! Highly recommended if you are looking for seafood in Verona.

29/12/2025: Our hotel reserved a table for us at 7:30 pm. When we arrived at 7:30 pm, no one even answered the door. After a staff member finally made an effort to open it, we were very coldly turned away because we had our small dog with us. There was no such notice on the website or on the door. That's not enough!

04/11/2025: Lovely meal at Trattoria all Colonna. Very important to book in the evening but we managed to eat without a reservation on Tuesday at lunchtime. Typical local well cooked food from an osteria. Lovely beef carpaccio, followed by penne a la casa which was full of flavour very tasty indeed. All washed down with a beautiful local Veronese red beer - superb! You can get wines by the glass as well. Big thanks also to the kind staff and young man who helped get back an important pink bag full of insulin for my type 1 diabetic fiancé - grazie mille!!

21/09/2025: Excellent dinner in a truly lovely and relaxing setting just steps from the lake shore, with friendly and helpful staff. I had tagliatelle with trout and zucchini for starters, delicious!

18/01/2026: Popular atmosphere, large, rather noisy rooms. Service is inefficient (one pizza at a time per table, with several minutes between each one). The dough is tough and the ingredients are basic, at average prices.

17/01/2026: I was there eight years ago and said it was the best pizza I'd ever eaten, and eight years later I can confirm that. The staff were professional and very knowledgeable, even though it was busy. They never forgot about me, stopping by several times to ask if everything was okay and if I needed anything. The impact of that pizza was truly fabulous, you could eat another one right after.

16/02/2026: We went the night before Valentine's Day and had a great time! The waiters were truly welcoming and eager to present the entire menu, including wines and spirits, in a courteous and interesting manner. A bonus is that they're very careful about gluten-free options, and as a celiac, I was able to eat with peace of mind and choose from a wide range of options. The only downside: the portions are really small, and for the price we paid, we were hoping to be fuller once we left.

14/02/2026: Local products and traditional dishes presented with a modern twist. All dishes and wines are presented and explained by the young host, who demonstrates a deep knowledge of the products and a passion for his work.

08/02/2026: A restaurant overlooking the lake where you can enjoy delicious seafood and more. We've been back several times, and everything's always delicious. The crab and scampi first course is worth trying because it's truly delicious. Excellent value for money.

03/01/2026: Good morning, I dined on December 30, 2025, and I fully agree with Ms. Olga Rauch's review, so as not to repeat myself. I'm surprised you insist on frequenting this restaurant, hoping for improvement. There are places where a smile, a warm welcome, and quality are the hallmarks. I was there for the first time by invitation, and the location was worth it, but the gratin I ordered was awful; it seemed reheated, dry, stringy, and the long hair was like a rubber band. It was an experience I won't repeat. Dinner should be an opportunity to be pampered in every sense of the word; a romantic location along a beautiful lake isn't enough.

09/02/2026: We arrived at the restaurant around 8 pm on a Sunday. The main room was very sparsely populated, and the second room was completely empty. The employee was extremely rude and wouldn't let us in, saying there wasn't enough space for us to dine. TERRIBLE service! We ended up having dinner at the restaurant next door, which had excellent service and excellent food as well.

06/02/2026: Absolutely delicious, definitely deserves the title of 'best in town'. Succulent dishes prepared with love (perfect for the city of Romeo and Juliet 😉). Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back 😎
