30/03/2026: Nice place. The menu isn't terribly extensive, but everything is very well cooked. From personal experience, the staff isn't particularly friendly or attentive, not even the most welcoming, but that aside, the overall experience was positive. I think the prices are a bit high. I recommend the pear tart.
30/03/2026: The experience was excellent. The food was good and plentiful, with satisfying portions. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. The quality/price ratio was also good: we paid about €25 per person for two starters, two side dishes, and water. Recommended!

Food a bit "touristy"
02/03/2026: A truly welcoming traditional osteria, conveniently located just steps from Castelvecchio, in the heart of Verona.
We went for dinner after a late lunch, so we decided to order just three different first courses, just to sample them.
We chose:
pappardelle with duck ragù, cod tortelli, and
tagliolini with rabbit offal.
A perfect choice: authentic dishes, well-cooked, and generous portions.
A truly positive note also goes to the staff, who were extremely kind and professional: at checkout, without even asking, they gave us a discount, a gesture we greatly appreciated.
We highly recommend this osteria, especially if you're looking for authentic Veronese cuisine in a central location.

16/03/2026: Although we didn't have a reservation, they were able to give us a table. We had friendly, fast service and the pizzas were delicious. And the Aperol Spritz is a must in the hometown of the aperol spritz! 😁😋

04/11/2025: Lovely meal at Trattoria all Colonna. Very important to book in the evening but we managed to eat without a reservation on Tuesday at lunchtime.
Typical local well cooked food from an osteria. Lovely beef carpaccio, followed by penne a la casa which was full of flavour very tasty indeed. All washed down with a beautiful local Veronese red beer - superb! You can get wines by the glass as well.
Big thanks also to the kind staff and young man who helped get back an important pink bag full of insulin for my type 1 diabetic fiancé - grazie mille!!

11/04/2026: Let's start from the end. At the end of the dinner at 11pm we found ourselves with 7 waiters staring at us so they could close up and leave. The strawberries were tasteless, red but not ripe. We ordered the raw and cooked fish boat with a quality of fish that was not the best and the spider crab was always present and tasteless. The lobsters were still leaking water from the fridge. The price paid was double what I expected. A place for tourists. The only thing that saves this place is the enchanting view of the lake.
10/04/2026: Very tasty and reasonably priced pizza. Great view of Lake Garda, as you can sit right there and enjoy the view. All the waiters were incredibly friendly.

06/04/2026: Truly fantastic restaurant. The pizza was delicious and the seafood spaghetti was fantastic. Special thanks to the waitress, who was very nice and sweet.
02/04/2026: We chose this restaurant at random, as it wasn't busy and children, as everyone knows, don't like to wait long.
And we didn't have to wait long at all. The service was fantastic, and all the staff were so attentive and friendly!
The children loved their pizza, and our pasta and appetizers were also delicious! The lakeside location was the icing on the cake! Five stars from us for everything!

17/03/2026: The Carbonara pasta was tasty, but the service was mediocre; the waiter who served us was not at all friendly and seemed eager for us to finish eating.
16/03/2026: The pizza was a far cry from what it was years ago. The dough was both burnt and soggy. The knives didn't cut well.
The waiter, Nicola, was arrogant when I pointed out that the carbonara is made with guanciale, not pancetta, and that cream isn't used. He reiterated in an annoyed tone that "we're all professors now..."
I won't be returning, nor will I recommend it to anyone. It's a shame about the very kind guy at the cash register.
