21/08/2025: At the end of our vacation, we chose this restaurant and unfortunately regretted it. We ordered pizza and pasta for our main course. The pizza Frutti di Mare was completely drenched in oil, and the crust was very hard. It tasted more like a baked pizza. They charge an additional €2 for the cheese on the pizza. The pasta was also rather tasteless. When we paid, the bill was placed on the table and we were ignored. When we got up after some time, the manager came over to us and looked in the bill holder. Our conclusion: One of the worst restaurants in Bardolino and not recommended.

17/08/2025: First of all, the welcome was very warm and perfect, the family breakfast was very good, the first and second courses were top-notch, 👏🏻 in short... excellent dinner, luckily pampered by a divinely cool breeze. Another detail... also pampered by the blue color of the pool next to the room. Last but not least, the property's wine cellar is exceptional. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The owner and staff were very kind and patient, high level of professionalism, everyone was great 👏🏻

27/08/2025: Delicious cutlet, prepared in an original and light way. It didn't taste too fried. The grilled steak and grilled vegetables were also excellent. All at a good price. The atmosphere was clean, tidy, and well-kept.

05/09/2025: We only went here to eat. (Not hotel guests.) The service staff were ok but not particularly friendly. We had to wait for a table. Very busy. No room outside. I recommend reserving if you want to eat with a view of the lake. We were stuck next to the front door where people kept coming in and out. The food was nothing special. My husband had a very fatty bit of veal and I had tagliatelle alla salmone but it tasted very fishy. Not like salmon. As though they had thrown in fish rubbish leftovers. Also too salty.

26/08/2025: Excellent dinner overlooking Lake Garda by the pool. The fish starters and mixed fried fish were very good and plentiful. Prices were reasonable.

24/08/2025: In terms of the quality of the food and preparation, this is arguably one of the best restaurants in Bardolino (based on the current 2025 - August) season. The pizzas are fresh, the dough is excellent, the toppings are of high quality and absolutely balanced in relation to the dough. The meat and fish dishes are not "tourist classics" but authentic, with many genuine Italian specialties. The ingredients are visibly and tastefully fresh and freshly prepared. During our one-week stay, we ate here four times in the evening and twice for lunch (and even more often for a quick cappuccino) as guests of the Residence ARCA. After decades of experience in Bardolino, the restaurant is at least among the top three in terms of ristorante and pizzeria. The tables are unfussy and simple, and the food is a culinary delight. Recommendations: Saltimbocca Limone, all kinds of pizza (the dough is amazing), fish dishes, bruschetta mare as a starter, grilled salmon, appetizer platter with cheese variations / fresh ham and olives (enough for 2-3 people)… We had over five people and on all our visits there was nothing that wasn't absolutely delicious.

20/07/2025: We celebrated our wedding here in 2021, when Covid restrictions were in place and until a week before, we didn't know what rules they would impose. Obviously, we respected them all, and in fact, we got married on May 30th, but then we actually celebrated on September 17th. The owner, Simone, is truly an exquisite person, competent and prepared. She directed every moment of the celebrations admirably, she made sure we didn't miss anything. She was the support we needed both for that day and for the preparations. She was exceptional ❤️🥹 We were lucky that the weather was perfect. Getting dressed a second time to go and celebrate was the most fun part. We were all finally free and happy. Each of us holds that day in our hearts in a special way because it was a liberating celebration, the first time we could smile and hug each other without a care in the world. Thank you so much to all the staff, we are eternally grateful for your professionalism ❤️ Valentina and Francesco and all the guests 💐 ps: I don't hide that we would love to come back to taste your dishes, we look forward to hearing if you ever organize a dinner for the newlyweds again ☺️

06/09/2025: The veal with tuna sauce was a little overcooked, but the sauce was good. The pizza was average. The waiters were very friendly, but a bit confused; they forgot your order. The location was very nice.

23/08/2025: The pizzeria clearly scores points with its dreamy ambiance right on the lake – the view is truly stunning and invites you to linger. Unfortunately, the food, and especially the service, couldn't live up to that. The bruschetta was disappointing: the tomatoes seemed to have come straight from the refrigerator and therefore had little flavor. The rest of the food was okay, but nothing special. What was most disappointing, however, was the unfriendly service, which significantly spoiled the beautiful impression of the location. It's a shame, because the potential is actually great.

23/08/2025: The best restaurant on the entire lake!! If you want good food, fair prices, and great service, then you're in the best hands at Catullo. I can't think of anything I haven't enjoyed in the last 10 days. The fish is especially excellent! The prices, especially for drinks, are more than fair! Please try Catullo!!! Love to you!!

03/09/2025: Service was quite attentive, and we were able to get a table for four without a reservation. Pizza and pasta were okay.

01/09/2025: We were even there for 2 evenings for dinner. The pizza was the best i have had for a long time. Waitstaff is super nice and childfriendly.

22/07/2025: Vincantiamo was a truly surprising discovery. The pizza is simply amazing, made with the highest-quality ingredients and a care that is evident from the first bite. The meat is also top-notch, cooked to perfection and presented in excellent cuts: a true house specialty. The place is beautiful, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere that makes every moment enjoyable. A special mention goes to the staff: kind, helpful, and very professional. The service is attentive but never intrusive.

06/08/2025: A delicious meal at a good price. The service was exceptionally friendly and English-speaking. We felt very comfortable and returned home full and happy. The air conditioning was available, but the main room was extremely cold. The conservatory was pleasant, although quite noisy due to the fans. Therefore, one star deducted for the ambience.
