20/05/2026: Spectacular! 😀 We've been in Venice for three days and this is the best restaurant. The location is in a very quiet area of ​​the island, the service is perfect, the waiters speak several languages, the food is served with care and style, and the cuisine is amazing. The price per person is approximately €50-60, wine not included. It's worth it!

26/07/2026: It's so delicious. The owner is friendly too. It suits the Korean palate well; it's not greasy and not too salty. I highly recommend it!

16/07/2026: My friend was told to go home and change because he wasn’t wearing long sleeves. He wasn’t even in the restaurant yet, he was in the adjoining bar at the hotel. He explained he was with a dinner party for a birthday and they told him he wasn’t allowed in. This was absurd because there was a family sitting behind us with all the children wearing graphic tshirts and very casual street wear. The kids were also running around their table, playing and screaming, and had tablets and iPads out on the table. They seemed to be given special treatment. There was another couple next to us with a guy wearing a backwards hat. The double standard was ridiculous and discriminatory. And because of the delay we had to wait 25 mins to order for my friend to return from his hotel, and then it was too late to do the chefs tasting because it was 9min past their last call. Would we have been seated on time, then there would not have been an issue. Additionally, they forgot someone’s after dinner cocktail and when I asked for it and then they brought out the wrong drink for my friendand then also ordered me one because I was the one who asked the waiter about the missing drink so essentially we were charged for 2 drinks,1 that we didn’t order and the other that was the wrong drink. We were also waiting around for the check after we had asked for it after the drink dilemma, and they came over and told us we needed to leave and that the restaurant was closing and we responded that we had been waiting for the check. And the same family behind us was the only table still in the restaurant and they were not asked to leave or given their check after we walked out. For the amount of money we spent on that dinner, the service and treatment was atrocious. Venice is known for having hatred towards tourists and it definitely showed. Mind you, this was my birthday dinner and it was my least favorite meal of the whole trip. I also only booked this restaurant for sitting on the terrace. I understood it was weather permitting. It rained between 630-8 and our reservation was at 9 and we were not permitted to be seated outside, nor informed that we were being relocated inside. Which was a specific request I had to asked because I wanted the ambiance of the grand canal.

30/06/2026: A genuine family restaurant that may not look like much to the outside world, but which has a lovely atmosphere, fantastic service, incredibly tasty and affordable food with a quality that usually costs much more. Also good wines and every other form of drink you can think of. The only problem is that it is located 1407 kilometers from home.

11/07/2026: The food was excellent and the staff was incredible. We had the bruschetta, spicy mussels, and seafood pasta. The complimentary limoncello shots were amazing! Would recommend visiting this spot!

26/05/2026: Antiche Carampane deserves its reputation and then some. I had this restaurant on my list for at least 15 years, and I was so pleased to finally eat there. It ended up being my favorite meal in Venice, and I already cannot wait to go back. The cuttlefish in sepia with polenta was magical. Every other dish we had was outstanding, with another standout being a perfectly prepared octopus appetizer. The desserts were also very well done. The cooking reflects tradition, execution and real warmth. The setting is also wonderful on a quiet lane with a beautiful jasmine tree just wafting its scent towards you. The staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. A truly memorable Venetian restaurant.

24/05/2026: A beautiful ode to seafood with some meat and vegetarian options too. I strongly recommend going here if you like good quality seafood and have a decent budget. The warm bread (if you have an early lunch reservation) is excellent and the best we had in Venice. I had spider crab pasta and my friend had a ground duck meat ragu. We both really enjoyed ourselves. If I had come with a seafood lover I would have ordered more!

27/06/2026: Excellent service and very friendly, helpful staff. They checked out celiac disease and there were no cross-contamination issues! The GF pizza was excellent, and the classic dishes were also delicious. If you want Venetian food and want to be gluten-free, I highly recommend it!
