The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which added to our satisfaction. Even though we didn't speak Italian, they tried to make us feel at home and that we didn't miss anything. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and great service. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere warm and pleasant. We will definitely be back!"

07/12/2024: Nice environment, friendly staff, efficient service. Too bad the food is below expectations. A traditional Roman menu that has nothing to do with Roman cuisine. The spaghetti cacio e pepe was overcooked. A shapeless mass. The rigatoni all'amatriciana was overcooked... perhaps the bacon was there, the pecorino was just sprinkled... lots of tomato... little substance... a disappointment...

10/03/2025: Pizza 🍕 very good and very good fries and a lot of education and politeness the only thing was that there was no prosecco on tap if you wanted it you had to buy a bottle or I open a bottle and they just give you a glass with a bit of prosecco the rest is a beautiful place I recommend it

The food is in mini portions so you can taste more things and appreciate the genuine flavors of the area. We tasted the summer menu and also the autumn menu: EXCELLENT!! Highly recommended.

02/03/2025: Welcome to this restaurant, the cuisine is of good quality, the dishes are copious and the prices are reasonable for Venice, especially during the carnival period! A nice little extra: you can have the menu in French 👍 A good address compared to other restaurants that we visited during the same stay which can be frankly disappointing and really overpriced. When it happens like that, I of course always leave a tip!😜 I recommend.👍👍

If you reserve in advance you save long waiting times. Very suitable for families with children as there is a huge playground integrated. I've never experienced anything like that a second time. 07/03/2025: Buongiorno oggi ho pranzato da Venissa. Abbiamo preso il menu 4 portate con assaggio dei vini. Il posto è bellissimo ma la delusione dei piatti purtroppo è stata grande. Il primo piatto aveva un odore difficile e un gusto discutibile. La seconda portata gnocchi alla romana con delle alghe maleodoranti sopra. Poi è arrivato il pesce e dei contorni. Il pesce grigliato freddino era triste e senza sapore, i contorni buoni ma radicio e fasioi lo mangio da mia nonna. Poi le frittele con uno zabaione immangiabile (consiglio Tonolo a Venezia)! Per quello che ho pagato sono veramente deluso, se poi aggiungiamo che tra i camerieri ognuno mi indicava un pesce diverso alla mia domanda cosa sto mangiando? Mi dispiace davvero tanto! Sicuramente è stato un episodio! Buona continuazione.

11/03/2025: You have to be careful, on the board outside it tells you that the menu is €13.50, but it doesn't tell you that they also charge €2.50 per cover. The drink is not included and we ordered water and a beer, the bottle of water cost €5 and the beer €16. The food was good, but nothing out of this world. They gave us an appetizer while we waited for the food and charged us €17. In total we entered for the menu €27 and ended up paying €73. They must have two menus, one for tourists and another for locals, because many workers came in to eat.

28/03/2025: Found thanks to the nice reviews...well deserved! Small room, with few tables but a welcoming atmosphere. The owners, the lady who serves at the tables and her husband who is the chef in the kitchen, are two nice people, friendly and helpful. The lady satisfied all our curiosity about the dishes and in addition to a small welcome appetizer we were served other tastings during lunch, in addition to what we ordered. The bread, homemade, was served hot in a basket with hot stones underneath to maintain the temperature. The raw dish had, in addition to the excellent quality, a variety that has so far had no equal. Excellent spider crab and masenette, the cuttlefish salad with fried artichoke, bottarga and pears. Delicate turbot millefeuille with chanterelles and pumpkin and sublime zuppa inglese as well as the tasting of fried cream and biscuits served with coffee. What can I say, we felt pampered. The price is certainly a little above average but not at all exaggerated given the quality. We recommend it and we will definitely return, the owners deserve it for the passion they put into their work and the good food they serve.
