15/05/2026: Medium quality of food, below medium service. We did not touch the so-called „zabaglione“ for dessert and were not asked what was wrong with it…

15/04/2026: Local Venetians recommended this restaurant, and it did not disappoint—loved the atmosphere, the staff, and the FOOD! Had the Branzino and also the Pappardelle with shrimp in a spicy tomato sauce, both were delicious. And the garlic spinach that came with the branzino was so good, we ordered more on the side. The dessert was as beautiful as it was delicious, a chocolate hazelnut bar and a coconut mango cake. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would return if we had more days left in Venice, please try it for yourself and I hope you have the pleasure of Angel serving you 😊.

11/05/2026: This historic trattoria on the outskirts of Mestre is a place that speaks for itself, without any frills. While you eat, you can hear the plates—still beautifully round, thick, and white—clashing in the kitchen, as they always have. The worn floors alone can tell hundreds of stories; as do the steel counter and the liquor cabinet in the entrance, silent witnesses to an era when people came to eat, not to have their photo taken. If you're looking for fashion, places where they serve skimpy portions on slate plates, colorful displays of sauces, geometric and modern plating designed specifically for your Instagram profiles, "refined" cuisine, and wine lists selected solely to make you feel important, then move on. This is not the place for you. But if you really want to eat, come on in. Excellent seafood, authentic traditional Venetian cuisine, and a family atmosphere that, sadly, is rarely found anymore. One of those trattorias that resist, without asking permission from trends, and which for this reason are worth double.

04/04/2026: Accommodation, breakfast, location, peace and quiet, cleanliness, and the friendly, attentive staff… we have rarely rated an accommodation so perfectly. We have stayed in many hotels and other accommodations, but this one is truly a gem. There is absolutely nothing negative to report.

02/05/2026: Food is solidly above average – service unfortunately not fluent in English or German, but friendly. The atmosphere is rather loud and very crowded. A higher-end restaurant in the tourist center – reservations recommended after 7 pm!

08/06/2026: Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of expectations. The quality of the dishes was mediocre, and there was a strong feeling that many products were frozen, without this always being clearly stated on the menu, which I personally find lacking in transparency. The quality/price ratio was unjustified: prices were those of a high-end restaurant, but the perceived quality was far from perfect. Some dishes seemed sloppy and lacking in freshness. The service was average, but when the food quality isn't convincing, it's hard to turn a blind eye. There are much better options in Mestre. I won't be returning.

03/06/2026: We stumbled upon it almost by accident. We were looking for a restaurant near the hotel and, after browsing the online list, we chose this one after reading some reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes. Everything was excellent and delicious. The fish was very fresh and very tasty. We recommend this restaurant for the quality and freshness of the ingredients, prepared with care and great professionalism. The staff was very kind and welcoming. A pleasant atmosphere that we will definitely try to visit again when we return to Venice.

03/06/2026: If you are a tourist they will recommend the catch of the day, they will charge you 4 times the price. 1 kg of fish 100 eu is just a scam. They are friendly but will charge you extra just because you are not local. They will state the fish itself when it’s fished weight 1 kg, we do not eat the head, eyes or bones and they will serve you tiny slices. Do not recommend.

01/06/2026: I would give 10 stars if I could. The charm of a family run restaurant was evident all the time. They were happy to oblige to my out of menu request, and the resulting dish was out of the world. Equally lovely was the friendliness of the entire family. They were enjoying watching us enjoy the food they had prepared. That tells so much about how passionate they were. Kudos to the family

01/06/2026: There are plenty of places in Chioggia where you can eat good fish, but if you want something more than a simple trattoria and don't want fancy, Instagrammable fashionistas, you have to come here. It's an elegant but not overly formal restaurant, steeped in history but aged well. Who knows if restaurants like this will still exist in 20 years. While they exist, let's enjoy them.

26/05/2026: The atmosphere is quiet, with just a few tables and a private spot. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. The raw fish is amazing and 100% worth the price.

30/05/2026: Da Ivo was one of the highlights of our time in Venice. The daily menu was extensive and offered a great variety of fresh, high-quality choices, making it difficult to decide what to order. The tuna tartare was absolutely amazing—without a doubt the best I have ever had. It was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The paccheri and the pasta with shrimp were both delicate, well-balanced, and delicious, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. The swordfish was equally impressive, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Everything we tried was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine made with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail, Da Ivo is definitely worth a visit.

11/05/2026: The food is very good, however, it should be noted that, for example, the crispy crust on a pizza costs extra (sesame crust). The service was excellent at first, but unfortunately, it deteriorated after we ordered. Despite numerous waiters passing by and seeing my empty glass, I had to ask several times if I could order anything else. Otherwise, the restaurant and service are excellent. Another point of criticism is the cash register; sometimes you have to wait a very long time before you can pay.

02/05/2026: Superb location directly overlooking Murano's main canal. Fresh, meticulously prepared seafood dishes. Friendly, attentive, and extremely kind staff. For me, the #1 choice if you're in the Venice area.

21/05/2026: Small place and good price. Delicious Cicchetti. I got tuna and shrimp/zucchini. Very yummy.

02/06/2026: Tiny portions. The lasagna was a child's size, but not enough for an adult. Especially considering the price. We complained and were told it was normal. So we didn't order dessert or coffee. Avoid this place and go somewhere else.
