13/12/2025: We were expecting local cuisine. The spritzes weren't sparkling, and there were no orange slices.
The food was okay, nothing special. The service was basic, lacking the Italian joie de vivre.
It's quite expensive. One appetizer to share, four spritzes, and two main courses came to around €115.
08/12/2025: The best spaghetti with squid ink I've ever had (and I know what I'm talking about), preceded by fresh, flavorful mussels and clams. A rustic, traditional atmosphere in a charming little building (hence the name). Excellent location, friendly service. One of the best restaurants in Venice.

09/12/2025: Wandering leisurely through Murano, we found this restaurant. A small door and a red awning. Upon entering, we were greeted by a large courtyard and a dining room filled with happy people having lunch. We were served with great cordiality and speed. We ordered local dishes, full of fresh, well-prepared, and delicious seafood. Fair price, pleasant atmosphere, very kind staff. We recommend it!
07/12/2025: The worst restaurant I've ever been to in the Venice region. The service was terrible! They promised to seat us in 5 minutes at the entrance, but we waited 20, and three groups of people were let in ahead of us, even though we were first. People arrived and ordered after us, and our kids' pizzas arrived after them. They forgot to bring our main course. It took 20 minutes for the wine to arrive. The pizza chef is some kind of celebrity, but the pizza was heated up in an electric oven.

16/09/2025: Couldn't stay at the hotel as it was full, so decided to go for dinner. I might suggest that if you go, don't bother with a drink in the bar - disappointing. Don't be put off the rather circuitous route that you have to take to get to the restaurant, its worth it. Food excellent, service attentive but not crushing and excellent dinning room. Would highly recommend if you want to experience what could be called "fine dining"
11/06/2025: Best dinner in Venice hands down! Lovely atmosphere, best food, and extensive wine list. Also big shout out to our polyglot waiter Samuel for conducting the dinner in Spanish. Truly remarkable!

08/11/2025: A very nice place at the end of a small street with a homey atmosphere. The cuisine is entirely Italian, with all dishes very fresh and prepared while you wait.
The menu only has a few dishes, but everything is fresh and very good. The prices are reasonable, and it's much tastier and cheaper than in the Old Town.
I recommend it if you want to enjoy Italian cuisine, prepared by what may be one of the last places where a native Italian cooks.
28/10/2025: An excellent restaurant in the center of Mestre, excellent food, impeccable service... Special mention to the staff and the owner, they made us feel at home... highly recommended 💪

28/11/2025: We tried the tasting menu. Everything was truly exceptional, and each dish was paired with a different, top-notch wine.
The cod and fish ravioli were excellent.
To finish, a tiramisu that would bring the dead back to life...
The staff were attentive and professional.
The view of Venice at night was superb!

25/08/2025: Three crostini with creamed cod, two raw scampi, one raw shrimp, three spaghetti with clams, three portions of baby octopus, three sgroppinoli, and three coffees for €100. Everything was absolutely delicious.
A family atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

The staff is very friendly.
The breakfast is good and offers a variety of options.
The location is ideal. A 5-minute walk from St. Mark's Square.

02/12/2025: Luca and Fred's Cicchetteria Venexiana was the first stop on our bacaro tour of Venice.
It's about a 10-minute walk from Santa Lucia station, and we decided to start here before heading to the Jewish Ghetto and then Fondamenta dei Ormesini.
At this bacaro, you must try the dischi volanti, which are made like paninis, but instead of bread, there are two discs of fried eggplant stuffed with cured meats and cheeses.
Overall, all the cicchetti here are very good, from the classic crostini to the breaded and fried meatballs.
There is plenty of seating both inside and outside.
