We had a very good meal. The service was very good although you felt as if they were on top of you whenever there was a chance. This treatment is a little different than most Italian restaurants. While they did not necessarily rush you you could get that feeling by their hovering. Its a nice atmosphere only able to handle approximately 35-40 people at any given time. Definitely need reservations.

Once in Venice very often you end up in restaurants for tourists only. This case is totally different: very nice and cozy environment, very professional services, excellent typical Venetian food very well presented. Absolutely great the wine list offering a wide choice of Italian and international wines. I strongly suggest this restaurant; prices in line with the experience.

Uber pricey but you're getting a truly fine dining experience. Great selection of meals and wines. Definitely would recommend for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Desserts were top-notch as well!

Really good meal. The squash blossoms stuffed with crab were a standout hit. One thing: Tuesday night at 7pm is not a romantic turn. There were kids at nearly every table and the vibe took a beating. It felt more Italian family restaurant than adult dinner date, but there was still energy in the ambiance. We were glad this experience was part of our trip, we enjoyed ourselves and had a beautiful time! Thank you!

Fully enjoyed everything - food, service, ambience

Truly, a romantic and intimate dining experience with the most delicious food and wine in Venice. We arrived by water taxi and quickly seated. The knowledgeable sommelier helped to select the perfect wine. Would not hesitate to recommend for a memorable evening.

Da Ivo was one of the highlights of our time in Venice. The daily menu was extensive and offered a great variety of fresh, high-quality choices, making it difficult to decide what to order. The tuna tartare was absolutely amazing—without a doubt the best I have ever had. It was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The paccheri and the pasta with shrimp were both delicate, well-balanced, and delicious, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. The swordfish was equally impressive, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Everything we tried was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine made with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail, Da Ivo is definitely worth a visit.

Delicious food, great vibes and service.

The starter was very good, but the main course of spaghetti was extremely salty and overcooked, even by Italian standards. The service was very professional.
