I would give 10 stars if I could.
The charm of a family run restaurant was evident all the time.
They were happy to oblige to my out of menu request, and the resulting dish was out of the world.
Equally lovely was the friendliness of the entire family. They were enjoying watching us enjoy the food they had prepared. That tells so much about how passionate they were.

First time in Burano and first lunch at Trattoria da Primo... a truly fantastic experience...
Excellent welcome: the owner, his wife, and daughters are always smiling, kind, helpful, and super polite. The service makes you feel right at home.
You absolutely must try the Gò risotto, delicate and truly delicious, and the turbot recommended by the owner, incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. Finally, the homemade buranelli served hot with zabaglione cream... something exceptional! 😍 Highly recommended!

We ordered risotto and grilled scallops here, both were delicious. The service was top-notch; the servers asked how our meal was going. Risotto can't be ordered as a single serving, you have to order two. (Total €44)
A serving of grilled scallops is three, but the restaurant proactively asked if we wanted four, two per person – a thoughtful touch, though the price increased (scallops total €24). They were very fresh!
It was quite a meal for two people. No wonder it's an island; prices are definitely on the higher side.

We were visiting Burano and stumbled upon this trattoria. The risotto was spectacular, and the service from all the staff, especially Doriano, was exceptional. Without a doubt, if you visit Burano, it's a must-visit.

The service and the experience were magnificent. Doriano was very nice; he even let everyone know it was my birthday so they could sing to me. The food was good quality; it's clearly a nice place. I would definitely go back.

Not that we have had a bad experience anywhere in Venice but the staff here was extremely helpful with the menu and friendly and the food was amazing.
In a spot where it's a restaurant every other spot, 10/10 recommend this one. Also wasn't crazy busy
