Ristorante Pizzeria Vecio Decimo In Quarto d'altino

Into our 3rd week touring Italy and tried this restaurant. And oh my, we experienced the best authentic pizza thus far. My wife and I ordered two types and both were incredible! Flavor, flavor, flavor! We had to take the last piece with us so we could enjoy it again for breakfast. The staff was busy as the place was packed, yet we were accommodated immediately when ordering desert and extra napkins. We ate there again for lunch the next day and enjoyed their grilled fish and homemade pasta (spaghetti ragu). BTW, the house red was silky smooth with a range of bold flavors and very slight walnut like finish. We were surprised that we both wanted to return for lunch, but agreed it was that good! Prices were less than expected, but the value was far beyond what we paid. Worth the visit... or two!

I increased my rating by one star because our Easter lunch was a success, thanks to the fried fish we ordered for takeout from this restaurant. Truly delicious, like nothing I've had in a while. The fried calamari was cooked to perfection, so much so that even my 90-year-old grandmother ate it without complaining. The mixed salad had everything, was plentiful, and the price was good. We'll definitely be back.

Business dinner at this restaurant in Quarto D'Altino. The restaurant and pizzeria is informal, simple, but clean. Service is quick, and the staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. The menu is varied, offering meat and fish dishes, as well as pizza. The dishes are decent. Prices are average and consistent with the menu. Reservations are recommended.

I stopped here for a business lunch, but it will be my last. Not much to choose from: three first courses, three second courses, and two side dishes. The place was almost empty, but the wait was long. The first course, fusilli with pesto, arrived cold (I didn't say anything because it's usually reheated in the microwave). The second course was good, but the side dish, steamed herbs, was drowned in oil. Another 15 minutes for the coffee... €15.
