26/04/2026: Lunch on April 25, 2026, an unexpected discovery!!! Four of us ordered four different pizzas and swapped them. Very good pizza, delicious, super digestible; even a simple Margherita is fabulous. Margherita, Norcina, Nerano, and a Caprese. Really pleasant atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Fast service. The baker and pizza chef are both artists.

20/04/2026: We stumbled upon this hotel by chance after a road accident, and were greeted warmly. Clean rooms and comfortable beds, a delicious breakfast, and friendly and helpful staff. A place I'd definitely like to return to.

01/05/2026: Meat specialties, but not only that. We enjoyed both a plate of strangozzi and the tagliata, and shared a unique and tasty terrine first. The service was excellent, courtesy, helpfulness, and clarity. The price was fair.

12/05/2026: Unfortunately, the day in Todi started badly with torrential rain that limited our exploration of the city... and it ended badly at this restaurant where we had lunch, encouraged by the positive reviews that make me think I was unlucky... The place was small, full of tables; the outside wasn't accessible due to the downpour. My table near the bathroom was in the middle of the very narrow passage to and from the bathroom. Aside from that, my soup, dedicated to Iacopone, was a mess... I'm not a cook, but I make it pretty good... the wild boar stew was quite tough, served without even a small side dish (2 potatoes, 2 lettuce leaves, nothing...), as is the custom everywhere... The house wine and bread were good, though! Good service from two friendly waitresses. I left disappointed and unhappy with the bill, considering the food wasn't good... Sorry. PS: I'm replying to the management, saying that the table was assigned to us without a choice, and even if it had been as you say, the two free ones were both in the way of the bathroom... and that there was only one table outside, occupied by a young couple; the other tables were empty. I repeat, it must have been an unlucky day for us, and the place certainly deserves the good reviews we read.

27/04/2026: The owner is spectacular, nicknamed "the yellow one," and is popular with locals (a sign of quality, for me). The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and fast enough. The atmosphere is friendly. The food is made with excellent ingredients and is perfectly prepared. If you're in Gubbio, a must-visit. Recommended!

13/04/2026: I can highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location and great overall experience. We got room 505 on the top floor with the balcony. It was perfectly clean and comfortable. We usually skipped the breakfast, but it was decent. Many thanks to all the staff, the housekeeping and the receptionist Mr Umberto who helped us with the accommodation. Hope to come back soon.

09/04/2026: You might have a less than favorable first impression upon entering, given the exterior of the building that houses the Trattoria, but I guarantee you that once you step inside, you'll be amazed by the magic of a place filled with every conceivable type of historical object... absolutely beautiful!!! Delicious food, a view of the lake, and attentive and friendly service... in short, it rarely occurs to us, upon leaving, to think that it would be nice to return as soon as possible with the rest of the family or friends... Furthermore, we can also say that, given the quality and the allegorical setting in which we found ourselves during lunch, the prices are fair and the portions generous... in short, we'll gladly return.

12/04/2026: We spent a week in Perugia and during that time we visited Gatto Nero 3 times for dinner. Parking is at a premium but this restaurant has a wonderful friendly ambience. None of our meal choices let us down and the staff were super helpful. It’s part of the Italy we love.

Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were also excellent, with carefully prepared, high-quality dishes. The private spa, reserved for us, was a true added value, a rejuvenating experience, perfect for complete relaxation. Highly recommended for those looking to treat themselves to a few relaxing days, even with their four-legged friends.

05/05/2026: We visited at night but I am sure it offers breathtaking views of you visit during the day. The is a family owned place and the friendliness and "family vibe" was evident amongst the staff and the customers even if you don't speak Italian! Delicious food, great wine and I absolutely loved the tiramisu!! The portions were very generous, we couldn't finish our food and overall we had a fantastic time (and the most lemony limoncello ever tasted - really great!!)
