Generally a nice restaurant. Unfortunately, no outdoor seating. The food was very good, but we found a fat maggot in the pappardelle with porcini mushrooms – we pointed this out to the waiter. The chef simply relayed that this was normal, no further comment...

We went to this place we found on Google. The reviews didn't disappoint; it's truly an experience.
The staff was professional and extremely kind.
Those dishes exuded passion and love, and believe me, you made the difference.
I recommend the mushroom pappardelle and the pork shank, which was simply amazing.
If you're in Gubbio, a must-try is Locanda del Duca.

During our stay in Gubbio, we dined here, partly because we were intrigued by the Borghese show. We were greeted by a smiling young staff (which makes all the difference) who advised us on the food: the platter was excellent,
the shin with caramelized onions wasn't bad, the ravioli stuffed with braised meat and with walnuts and pears were excellent.... To finish, a traditional dessert accompanied by lemon cream. Average quality/price ratio.

We booked because we'd seen Alessandro Borghese's show where the restaurant in question had ranked second. Indeed, we found ourselves in a welcoming and comfortable setting, the food was excellently cooked, and we didn't even have a long wait, considering that several customers arrived almost simultaneously. The owner and the entire staff are courteous and professional, but a special mention goes to Ludovica, who even called us outside to give us a personal item we'd forgotten at the table. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I went to Gubbio to explore the city in the evening. We weren't sure where to have dinner, so out of curiosity, I suggested Locanda del Duca, since I'd heard about it thanks to the popular TV show "4 Ristoranti" with Alessandro Borghese. We were pleasantly surprised by the location but, above all, by the quality (and quantity)/price ratio that Locanda del Duca offers. The appetizers were excellent, but the main courses were sublime. The service was also a positive note. Very thorough, polite, and kind. They even offered us dessert.
Finally, I recommend anyone passing through, including locals, to stop by if you want to enjoy excellent Gubbio cuisine.

Excellent place, although a bit chaotic. Reservations highly recommended. This is the second restaurant we've visited in Alessandro Borghese's "4 Ristoranti." We ordered two side dishes and two meat dishes. The wait was long, but the room at -1 was unfortunately crowded with a table for two families and six children. Unfortunately, we didn't fully enjoy the dinner.
