28/12/2024: Cibo davvero ottimo (spaghetti allo scoglio TOP) ed anche il prezzo molto competitivo. Uniche pecche: niente fasciatoio e poca organizzazione quando c’è tanta gente (è già la seconda volta che veniamo e che ci dicono che per i primi c’è un’attesa di almeno 40 min)

22/12/2024: Giornata al mare con mia moglie e sull'ora di pranzo proviamo ad entrare al SaPlaya ( sapendo che è sempre strapieno avevo poca speranza) invece ci fanno accomodare ,ordiniamo 2 antipasti (io la spadellata di cozze vongole etc e mia moglie antipasto di mare misto) poi prendiamo la carbonara di mare che è veramente spettacolare!! Porzioni anche troppo abbondanti, prezzi adeguati (70€ con 1 calice di bianco e 2 caffè) Non era la prima volta e si è confermato piacevolmente

01/12/2024: I stayed in this wonderful place for a summer vacation, the apartment was huge comfortable, from the terrace you could hear the live music they played every now and then, it was very pleasant and never annoying. I also ate at the restaurant with great satisfaction.

22/02/2025: Ci siamo trovati in occasione del carnevale di Viareggio a mangiare in questo locale, nonostante il locale fosse pieno e non avevo prenotato ci hanno gentilmente fatto accomodare e nel giro di un ora abbiamo mangiato antipasto, primo e dolce con caffè, efficentissimi, cibo top e prezzi più che onesti, tutto questo ci ha portato a ripresentarci per cena con lo stesso trattamento, peccato abitare distante altrimenti ci tornerei ogni settimana.

08/12/2024: restaurant with home-made cuisine without infamy or praise, fast and efficient service, the only sore point is the prices which are increased by 2/3 euros compared to the website which at this point I recommend updating. I will definitely not go back

05/03/2025: Aunque el restaurante está situado junto al mar, la comida no es fresca. El pescado frito no sabía fresco en absoluto, y lo mismo ocurre con todos los demás platos. El pescado que usan proviene de caldo congelado, y no pude distinguir entre el sabor de los mejillones y el del calamar – ¡sabían lo mismo! Pedí un plato frito grande para dos, pero trajeron un plato con aproximadamente 14 piezas, y pagué 16€. Sugiero ir a Sa Playa (que es mejor) o a cualquier otro restaurante en lugar de este!

05/03/2025: Anche se il ristorante si trova vicino al mare, il cibo non è fresco. Il pesce fritto non aveva affatto il sapore del pesce fresco, e lo stesso vale per tutti gli altri piatti. Il pesce che usano è congelato, e non sono riuscito a distinguere il sapore delle cozze da quello dei calamari. Camerieri poco cordiali e conto troppo salato considerando il costo basso che può avere il pesce non fresco Vi consiglio di andare in qualsiasi altro ristorante

23/02/2025: Small place that requires reservations to eat. We took a Florentine steak that was exceptional to say the least and for the girls a pork fillet that melts in your mouth. The waitress is available and ready to recommend the wine pairing. Super place to definitely go back!

06/01/2025: Impeccable. I confess that I have been here other times and, although I have always had a good impression - especially with regards to the quality of the food - this time I was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere, discretion of the service, food, all truly excellent. Compliments.

01/01/2025: We had dinner in this place in Santo Stefano, a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, all the dishes were cooked with care and with fresh ingredients in my opinion. Very tasty mix of starters, excellent Versilia linguine. The catch of the day, a croaker, was so delicious that we went back the following evening and I ordered it again after a spectacular seafood risotto. Praise also for the mixed fried food, not huge squid rings of dubious origin but small, very soft calamari. Personally I recommend it and I will certainly return.

25/11/2024: Good quality, ability to manage high volumes of customers, excellent price per person without starter, around 50 euros... super desserts - I went back and tried the octopus and olive tagliatella... top marks

11/09/2024: Lasagna a complete disaster, salad a joke. The service unfriendly. The only plus point: Lasagna and salad weren't even included in the bill in the end because they were ashamed of themselves.

08/10/2024: We thought about going to the Osteria del Gambero Rosso restaurant in Pinocchio park to be comfortable and well served, but the experience turned out to be a big disappointment. I go with my family to the restaurant shortly after 1pm with three children aged 5, 3 years and 7 months. When I arrive, no one comes to meet me despite the fact that in the large room there are a DOZEN occupied tables and several waiters. After several minutes I decide to go forward, go to meet them and they assign us a table in a fairly secluded area. We immediately decide what to order because the children are not only hungry but also tired from the morning of games so the shop assistant leaves no later than 1.10pm. Given the small crowd, I allow myself to ask if they can let the first of the children out (a pasta with tomato sauce to share) to calm them down and I am told that it will be very difficult... at this point the waiting begins. We wait, we wait, we wait. Apart from water and bread, nothing arrives and no one even pays us a glance for almost an hour. At 2.00pm the children are not only super hungry but also quite tired and I start looking around to nod to some waiter, but I only see heads down, everyone comes in and out of the kitchen like lightning and it is impossible for me to intercept them. Another 5/6 minutes pass and at this point I get up, with the baby in my arms and go to ask. A young waiter tells me he'll check and let me know. He checked, but didn't tell me anything, so much so that I had to get up a few minutes later to ask why he hadn't brought me anything back. At that point the waiter who had taken the order intervenes and tells me that it was his fault, that our order was PAUSED. I look at him quite incredulous and visibly annoyed and go back to my seat. After less than 5 minutes the pasta arrives and I comment that if the children hadn't been there I would have waited more calmly, and in response I hear myself say in a loud tone "I've already told her that it's my fault, that I made a mistake, she wants to bite me arm (and hands it to me) or what should I do should I prostitute myself?" At which point I realized that the person had no intention of doing better, beyond his own admission of the mistake. The adults' dishes arrived around 2.30pm. Here, this is precisely the point why I give ONE STAR and they will never see me again, everyone can make mistakes in their work, but a good professional tries to make up for it, shows empathy and, in such a situation, also offers a coffee, why not! But none of this, in fact, I also paid the cover for the seven-month-old baby... To be honest, I have to correct the part about the discount, as I took the receipt back in my hand after reading the restaurateur's response and had not received a reduction when paying. The discount received is €4.50 (!) out of a total of €74.50. Receipt time, since I have it in front of me, 2.44pm. For the rest, I leave it to the reader to orient himself between the two versions of the story.

30/09/2024: Pensiamo di recarci al ristorante Osteria del Gambero Rosso del parco Pinocchio per stare comodi e ben serviti, ma l'esperienza si è rivelata una grossa delusione. Mi reco con la famiglia al ristorante poco dopo le 13:00 con tre bimbi di 5, 3 anni e 7 mesi. Al mio arrivo non mi viene incontro nessuno nonostante nella grande sala ci siano una DECINA di tavoli occupati e diversi camerieri. Dopo svariati minuti decido di inoltrarmi, andare loro incontro e ci assegnano il tavolo in una zona abbastanza defilata. Decidiamo subito cosa ordinare perché i bimbi oltre che affamati sono anche stanchi dalla mattinata di giochi per cui la commessa parte non più tardi le 13:10. Vista la poca ressa mi permetto di chiedere se possano fare uscire il primo dei bimbi (una pasta al pomodoro da dividere) per calmarli e mi viene risposto che sarà molto difficile... a questo punto inizia l'attesa. Aspettiamo, aspettiamo, aspettiamo. a parte l'acqua e il pane non arriva nulla e nessuno ci degna di uno sguardo. Alle 14:00 i bimbi oltre che super affamati sono anche piuttosto stanchi e inizio a guardarmi attorno per fare un cenno a qualche cameriere, ma vedo solo teste basse, tutti entrano ed escono dalla cucina come fulmini e mi è impossibile intercettarli. Passano altri 5/6 minuti e a questo punto mi alzo, con la bimba in braccio e vado a chiedere. Un giovane cameriere mi dice che verifica e che mi farà sapere. Ha verificato ma non mi ha detto nulla, tanto è vero che mi sono dovuta rialzare qualche minuto dopo per chiedere come mai non mi avesse riportato nulla. A quel punto interviene il cameriere che aveva preso l'ordine e mi dice che è stata colpa sua, che il nostro ordine era in PAUSA. Io lo guardo abbastanza incredula e visibilmente stizzita me ne torno a sedere. Dopo neppure 5 minuti arriva la pasta e commento che se non ci fossero stati i bambini avrei atteso con più calma, e di tutta risposta mi sento dire. "le ho già detto che è colpa mia, che ho sbagliato, vuole mordermi un braccio? oppure cosa devo fare mi devo prostituire?" Al che ho capito che la persona non aveva alcuna intenzione di fare di meglio, oltre al suo ammettere l'errore. I piatti degli adulti sono arrivati verso le 14:30. Ecco è proprio questo il punto per cui METTO UN PALLINO e non mi rivedranno più, nel lavoro tutti si può sbagliare, ma un bravo professionista cerca di rimediare, mostra empatia e, in una situazione del genere offre anche un caffè, perché no! Ma nulla di tutto ciò anzi, ho pagato anche il coperto della bimba di sette mesi...

03/04/2025: A great place to eat in Forte dei Marmi, they don't accept reservations so "first come, first served" and it's a solution for those who decide at the last minute to go out for lunch or dinner. The location on the main square is beautiful and the dishes offered are excellent, both for adults and children.

29/03/2025: siamo stati qui al bocconcino per un pranzo. Io ho preso il pane arabo mentre la mia compagna la pasta agli scampi.da una parte il pane arabo anche se non eccellente mi ha soddisfatto, ma la pasta seppur gustosa era molto poca, ad occhio sembravano 50 g. non è una di quelle critiche “voglio mangiare tanto e spendere poco” però anche solo l’anno scorso le porzioni di pasta erano a dir poco esagerate. Peccato per questo cambiamento, ci piaceva molto molto. nonostante ciò il bilancio è pressoché positivo con un voto che si aggira sui 7 1/2. il conto è ragionevole per essere comunque in centro a forte dei marmi.

02/11/2024: The location is great. On the roof with ambient lighting, the sound of the sea and when it gets cooler, the windows close. The food was so well and too expensive for that. Lavish wine list, everyone should find something there. You can try out the Roof Top Bar & Restaurant.

02/09/2024: It's a shame that the site only showed old photos and the much-dreamed-of dinner by the pool was just a dream. Good quality of cuisine and excellent explanation of the dishes, very helpful staff at the table (even if I would avoid the huffing and puffing for the arrival of customers a few minutes later, they are always customers who bring profit at any decent time especially in summer) and the More regulated air conditioning would be welcome.
