14/08/2024: There is no such thing as waiting almost 1 hour for a "peppered mussel" appetizer without warning of the possible delay. After the first half hour of waiting, asking the owner for news, she replied "you're not the only ones".

15/06/2024: È una chicca sul lago, atmosfera unica, personale gentilissimo e attento, menù delizioso, consiglio il tonno in crosta è ottimo, ma anche gli atri piatti sono squisiti, da ritornarci sicuramente.

13/06/2024: Che dire.....location perfetta, servizio educato impreziosito dalla cura del proprietario, cibo eccellente, di qualita' e ben presentato.....non ci resta che tornare prt rivivere una serata perfetta in un luogo romantico. Bravi.

15/09/2023: Our family group of three had a really nice dinner at Laltrolato. Christian and his colleagues were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Great service, lovely atmosphere and the food was really delicious. To start, we shared two dishes between three, Ravioli Fatti a Mano and Gnocchi Fati a Mano. The flavours were really lovely and the textures of both the ravioli and the gnocchi were perfect. For the main course two of us had the pork ribs (Costina di Maiale) and our third member had duck (Petto d'Anatra). Absolutely delicious all round and cooked to perfection. We then had two beautiful desserts (Flan di Cioccolato and Sfere de Meringa). A wonderful evening and a most memorable experience. Thanks to Christian and his colleagues at Laltrolato.

01/09/2023: Non venivamo qui da molto tempo ma avevamo memorie di un'ottima cena. Il tempo passato ha senza dubbio ancora migliorato la cucina. La posizione è un po' 'particolare', ma risolve ogni problema di parcheggio. Sedie comode e apparecchiatura con belle tovaglie. Servizio impeccabile e professionale, con il giusto tempo dedicato alle spiegazioni. Piatti veramente curati nella ricerca delle armonie di gusto e di presentazione, con scelte mai banali ma molto riuscite, come quella di non usare pochissimo o zero zucchero nei dolci ma solo il fruttosio delle coulis di accompagno. Cotture giuste, accostamenti molto piacevoli. Provati gli gnocchetti agli scampi, i cappelletti farciti di baccalà, gli sparnocchi nostrali, il polpo galiziano, il baccalà islandese, la meringa e le variazioni di cheesecake. Carta dei vini non ampissima ma con spunti interessanti, a diversi livelli di prezzo. Non ho resistito allo Chardonnay Sankt Valentin, una garanzia. E serviti in bicchieri giusti (che sembra banale ma non lo è). Prezzo correttissimo anche con un po' di sconto. 65€ per una cena di solo pesce, di questo livello, ci stanno tutti. Si ritornerà di certo.

10/08/2024: Had dinner at the restaurant for a friend's birthday party, very good food, friendly staff. The venue offers a large park with the possibility of seeing many animals.

25/06/2024: We recently celebrated my son's baptism in this beautiful place and I must say that we were all very satisfied and happy with the day spent. Wonderful setup, impeccable table… very good food too. Mrs. Brunella and her very kind son meet every need. I don't give 5 stars but the restaurant is absolutely recommended! 😊

24/07/2024: Questo locale è adatto ad una serata informale ma anche per un incontro più professionale. Si trova lungo il molo di Viareggio, ha tavoli sia all'interno che all'esterno, dove c'è tanto passaggio di persone. Abbiamo preso due pizze per i bambini, molto buone, due primi piatti, spaghetti allo scoglio, a nostro parere veramente buoni e due fritti di mare. Uno calamari e gamberi e l'altro con la paranza. Molto leggeri, non unto, buoni davvero. Prezzo nella norma, sui 130 euro comprese due bottiglie di acqua, due lattine di coca Cola e una bottiglia di vino bianco e due caffè.

22/07/2024: Non era la prima volta che venivo e nuovamente non sono stata delusa. Portate ottime accompagnate da un cameriere gentilissimo. Consiglio assolutamente!

04/09/2024: Also ich muss sagen ich habe noch nie so schlecht in Italien gegessen. Ich bin wirklich schockiert. Das Essen war wirklich nicht die Qualität die ich in Italien gewöhnt bin und der Service auch nicht. Macht einen großen Bogen drum.

22/06/2024: We had dinner with 8 people on a Saturday evening. The food was consistently good to very good, the atmosphere was great, and the service was good. What was to be complained about was the portions of the main courses. The same dishes were different sizes and two casseroles were extremely small and not worth the price. There were only two portions of the ossobuko left, and at night the tiramisu was only available to a limited extent and the portions also varied in size. The landlord reacted very sensitively and unreasonably to our criticism. It's a shame, it's actually a very good restaurant that I can't recommend.

18/08/2024: Overall, the food here was very good. We had the tasting menu, and a couple of the dishes were not the tables favorites. Dessert would be considered a "throwaway". However, the most disappointing aspect unfortunately was the service. At a Michelin star restaurant, I love hearing about each course while it's in front of you. Half our table would receive their plates, we'd hear about the course, and then the other half of the tables meal would come out - sometimes quicky other times not so much. Not quite sure why the kitchen was struggling on such a slow night. I probably would pass on this restaurant.

10/08/2024: Besides small details that could easily be improved, this place is definitely a go for everyone that enjoy and appreciate a good meal. The food was very well executed and the wine list was amazing! Congratulations to the kitchen, the service and the entire staff because you are doing something very special!

30/07/2024: My friends got food poisoning after eating seafood there (oysters). My risotto was mediocre, the service was terrible.

29/07/2024: Food 3 out of 5. I didn't like the shrimp risotto. The sauce is not tasty. The pasta is also far from ideal. They even managed to serve the ice cream to taste like it was made with palm oil. This is in Italy, where ice cream is amazing everywhere, even on the street
