26/08/2025: I've been to this beach resort for lunch and dinner and have always had a great time. The food is good, especially fish, the staff is friendly, and the location is truly beautiful. I recommend going there for dinner because the atmosphere in the evening is very welcoming and relaxing.

18/08/2025: I'm not reviewing the bathroom because I only went here for dinner, which was excellent. Prices are a bit high, but they're in line with the quality of the food.

06/01/2026: A true trattoria, as it's called, conveniently located for parking, where you can eat some of the best pappardelle in Lucca, and a good value for money.

12/12/2025: While visiting the area at lunchtime on a winter Friday, we stumbled upon this place by chance, and were served very pleasantly. The atmosphere is informal and refined, and the lunch was delicious, including fish carpaccio, grilled sea bass, mixed fried fish, and chips. Everything was cooked perfectly and served with care. We saved the address for the future, and we'll gladly return. Truly excellent.

03/12/2025: Good food, wide selection. We had a great time, enjoying the penne with salmon, followed by grilled squid with roasted vegetables. We didn't miss out on dessert either. Dogs are welcome.

24/10/2025: A historic restaurant in the center of Viareggio and a must-visit. The seafood menu isn't overwhelming, but the quality is truly excellent. Try the tagliolini with lobster. The wine cellar is truly well-stocked.

03/11/2025: Poor quality food If the staff had been at least polite, I probably wouldn't have even written a review, but the girls were all unhelpful and rude; when we left, they didn't even say goodbye. That said, the pasta was loaded with garlic, and I have nothing against garlic, but the quantity was truly disproportionate and cumbersome. Not even the tomatoes in the salad had any flavor whatsoever. In short, a purely touristy place, and not even that cheap. It's a shame, because if a foreign tourist even tastes the Taggiasca olives in those scialatielli with octopus I had, they'll form a poor opinion of the true quality of the product.

05/11/2025: Located in the heart of the Fort, this restaurant offers quick, simply prepared seafood dishes. Service is average but unprofessional. On a negative note, they don't serve coffee after the meal.

26/10/2025: It’s okay, but nothing special. The pizza was fine, the dessert so-so, and they didn’t even have coffee – unbelievable for an Italian place. I spent over €40 just for a pizza, a small beer, an Amaro Averna, and a small dessert.

08/09/2025: Dear Hotel Playa Team, We would like to thank you very much for the wonderful stay at your hotel. We particularly enjoyed the location directly by the sea and in the shopping area, which made for a relaxing holiday. The room was always clean, and the food in the hotel restaurant was very delicious. We would especially like to praise the excellent service, from the manager himself to the entire team. We always felt well looked after and were provided with many useful tips for excursions in the surrounding area. The parking in front of the door at a fair price of €8 per day was also very convenient. Overall, we were completely satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit to the Hotel Playa. 10/11/2025: I went there for lunch and, luckily, I called ahead because the place was quite busy. Even though it was November, it was wonderful sitting outside in the sun — such a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant is perfect for a nice meal out, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is absolutely sublime, every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service is excellent — friendly, attentive, and professional. You definitely won’t be disappointed. I totally recommend it! TRY SEAFOOD CARBONARA!!

30/12/2025: I came in for a coffee. I was served a small cup with coffee just barely reaching the rim. When I protested, "But it's very long," I was told, "Yes, it is." Surprisingly, the coffee seemed to have been made in an anonymous bar in London or Paris. I paid my €1.50 in cash, but the cash register was probably broken because no receipt was issued. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys leaving bad reviews when they're well-deserved.

29/10/2025: A cappuccino that's not only beautiful but also delicious...and the owner is exceptional. Excellent, I'd say.

06/11/2025: A small restaurant in the Piazza di San Frediano, with friendly and fast service. There's only outdoor seating, with a small veranda for inclement weather. Reasonable prices. Typical Tuscan food, especially for Lucca Comics. I recommend it!

18/10/2025: A very cozy location, next to a beautiful church. Very friendly service, who take excellent care of their guests. Delicious food. We felt very comfortable in this small osteria.
