31/08/2024: Sat there for ages until someone asked us what we would like to drink. Ordered 2 x main meals, with 1x side order. Side order turned up 10 mins before main meals, then one main meal was brought to the table, then had to wait 5 mins for the second meal to arrive. None of the waitering staff looked happy, no smiles. My husband's meal was spaghetti bolognaise, presentation terrible, slapped into a small (very small portion) pile in the middle of a flat plate. There are much better restaurants along the front. Would not recommend.

24/08/2024: トーレ・デル・ラーゴのオペラを見る前の昼食に訪れました。期待を遙かに上回る美味しい海鮮料理を食べることができました。フィレンツェでは肉料理ばかりで一切海鮮料理がなかったので、トスカーナ料理にも美味しい海鮮があることが分かったのは発見でした。初日に食べたスパゲッティペスカトーレとペンネの海老トマトソース和えがとても美味しかったので、翌日も訪れて他の人が美味しそうに食べていた前菜を注文しました。どれも実に素晴らしかったです。ウエイターのサービスは丁寧で問題ありません。

17/07/2024: Ambiente suggestivo e di grande impatto, informale ma con tocco di eleganza. Peccato essere diventato col passare del tempo più bello che buono! Trovare un menù ridotto fa pensare ad una cucina curata e gustosa, peccato però non trovare tali caratteristiche nei piatti. Prezzi esageratamente alti per il servizio offerto. Sicuramente attraente per i turisti e niente più.

25/07/2024: Mega delicious food, extremely nice owner. There were five of us, we had risotto, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, spaghetti with seafood and 2x pizza. There was a party outside, it was very full, but we still got a table straight away (we hadn't made a reservation and were there with a large dog). Menu cards also in English or German, and the owner speaks both (Italian anyway 😉). We will be back definitely.

13/08/2024: Absolutely not recommended. 70 euros for an umbrella and 2 broken ones that were not replaced despite requests. Service at the bar was very rude when you asked for an empty plate for a small child. Abusive staff and the toilets are roughly on par with a public toilet at a German train station. The sand between the loungers is not cleaned of dirt, rubbish or dangerous things. Better go to amore a few meters further. (the staff at the bar refuses to sell water if you want to pay with a 20 euro note and insults you to death)

12/08/2024: Skyrocketing prices!! Not very hospitable and very arrogant! I strongly advise against it.

03/09/2024: A very normal seafood restaurant like many others, the food is not bad but not even wowww, perhaps because it is the end of the season, but the service was not at the top

20/08/2024: The food was ok, nothing exceptional but the service was bad. All waiters were grumpy and unfriendly like they didn’t want to work there.

10/08/2024: I was there one evening and waited half an hour to enter. Punctual and discreet service. Venue with rooms on the first floor and a large outdoor area. I ate an excellent plate of fried fish and a sorbet. Even though the place was full, the waiting time was within 20 minutes. For those who want to eat well at moderate prices I recommend it.

18/07/2024: dire che è stata una delusione è dir poco. ordinato tordelli al ragù e ci hanno servito dei ravioli ( ripieno di ricotta e spinaci) con un ragù (lungo) e sciapo. ci chiedono se vogliamo del parmigiano e dopo averne messo un po' sui " tordelli" la cameriera lo porta via!!!!! e se ne avessi voluto mettere un altro po'? ordiniamo poi il dessert.non è presente sul menù (quindi non conosciamo in anticipo il costo ):buoono ma non trascendentale..un normalissimo tiramisù e una sfoglia con crema pasticcera. la sorpresa arriva al momento del conto: ogni dessert è costato 10 euro! forse è passato di lì Iginiio Massari e li ha preparati personalmente?diversamente non si spiega.aggingo per dovere di cronacaa che una bottiglia di acqua san pellegrino da 750ml a 4 euro mi sembra degna compagna dei dessert di cui sopra. che dire? ci siamo sentite prese in giro e " derubate". non si fa così.non ci torneremo.un consiglio:fatevi spiegare cosa sono i tordelli.

26/04/2024: On the seafront promenade of Viareggio, a small place in a historic building that offers focaccias with a wide choice of fillings for all tastes. Helpful staff and fast service. A quick and non-binding break

27/01/2024: Went here tonight to eat, a complete rip-off, small flatbreads, one even wrong, the cheese was missing, paid 21 euros, got 2 miserable flatbreads, 2 bottles of water with table service,, an open-air theft,, I'm sorry for the place, now I understand why to eat there was only us,,

05/03/2024: With regret and dissapoitment i say that they serve and cook the worst pizza from the whole world, not just from Italy. Edit after owner's reply: It may be closed for now, but i could not forget this pizza we had last summer here. Every time we eat pizza, me and my wife still talk about your pizza, it remains in our memory forever :) Maybe instead of sarcastingly replying at reviews you improve the pizza and change the furniture and attitude, because the LoTR ideea is good, but not well managed. Have a nice day!

23/11/2023: I was there a few evenings ago with my son, I ate the exceptional Arabic bread, excellent, very good, I'll be back as soon as I can.

26/08/2024: The location of the hotel is good, the staff is helpful. Delicious breakfast. (A mini fridge would have been nice in the room.)

23/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati per una sera a cena con amici memori delle estati passate ma, con delusione , abbiamo notati piatti meno abbondanti e prezzi più elevati. Peccato che ancora in Versilia non si capisca che quando arriva un piatto l'occhio vuole la sua parte e non una delusione. Auguri ai clienti successivi !!

29/08/2024: Delicious place, captivating location, we had an excellent aperitif on the beach and dinner complete with a triple fireworks show, late summer fireworks for Sant Ermete al Forte, fireworks of the restaurant/establishment and fireworks of a nearby establishment, which demands more ? Good fish dinner, washed down with excellent prosecco, very dry as I like it, price I couldn't say... we were guests. Aurelio dessert not to be missed!

25/08/2024: Very nice place on the beach. Very good aperitif and special cocktails.

22/12/2023: Tonight we tried one of the oldest places in Lucca, LA CANTINA DI CARIGNANO. The place appears warm and welcoming the furnishings such as the piano, the beamed ceiling and the chandeliers made from wagon wheels create a style that blends between old style and country. The staff is quick but a bit resolute. Good food with traditional cuisine and home-made dishes. The mise en place is good.

30/11/2023: In a good environment, good food, apart from a few small flaws, but we will return.
