18/07/2025: The hours are very unclear....where it says 1:30, they say they stay open as long as there are people, or at least that's what a clerk tells us. We barely have time to sit down (11:00 PM) before another clerk tells us to leave because they're closing... I honestly don't even know how to evaluate all this! Of course, a public business must respect the posted hours, so I wonder why it says 1:30?
What can I say...lucky that there are many other wonderful places like "Via Veneto 62" that respect their hours and customers!

30/08/2025: I had an amazing experience at Il Fortino! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owner was truly wonderful, and our server Paolo was incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything about this place made us feel at home. I highly recommend everyone to visit and try it—you won’t be disappointed!

It took a while, even though no one was there before they took our order.
The focaccias were small and not of good quality; they seemed to have been bought at a discount store and were expensive; they weren't worth the price.
2 focaccias, 1 can of Coke, and 1 water €25.50
We won't be back; we were disappointed!
There were a few tables outside on the seafront; they sat us there, burning hot, and the next customers were advised to sit at tables in the small garden inside, which was nicer and had more air.

20/07/2025: Ottimo format, per tutti i gusti: dalla pizza, alla focaccia , dalla pasta, al pesce alla carne e per chi è a dieta delle splendide insalate . Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Personale gentile e affabile. Per chi è intenzionato di andare a provare, meglio prenotare.
16/07/2025: La ubicación es buena y el personal es agradable, pero la comida es desafortunadamente no comer.
La pizza era como si estuviera hecha de papel y la pasta ni siquiera era comible para mi hija hambrienta de 6 años que no es un comedor exigente.

05/07/2025: Siamo stati di passaggio in questo ristorante perché lo abbiamo visto la guida slow food (del 2023)
Mi dispiace dirlo ma è stata un’esperienza davvero pessima. Il personale è molto gentile ma il cibo da autogrill. Pollo alla griglia secco e senza sapore, prosciutto che sembrava in busta e il resto medio basso.
01/07/2025: Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Personale cortese e sempre disponibile. Tornermo sicuramente!! Hanno cambiato gestione da poco e la qualità si è alzata nettamente. Complimenti

27/05/2025: We know that the chef we liked is no longer there, our experience refers to a long time ago. We have not been back since then - We tried the restaurant and we liked it very much. A beautiful atmosphere and a friendly and attentive service. We were welcomed with a smile and kindness. It is not the typical Garfagnana menu, the chef skillfully uses local products combining them creatively with spices and aromatic herbs. You must try the pappardelle all’ortica with fresh trout, dill and chilli. Finally a menu that also has vegetarian dishes!

23/04/2025: Non sono solito scrivere recensioni, ma questa volta lo faccio volentieri perché il posto lo merita davvero. Ci sono stato più di una volta, l’ultima per festeggiare la mia laurea, e ogni volta è un piacere tornarci. Il ristorante è bellissimo, curato nei dettagli e facilmente raggiungibile. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, tutto perfetto dall’inizio alla fine. Il menù da 42 euro è stato abbondante e di qualità, sembrava davvero di essere a casa: piatti genuini, sapori veri. Le portate forti? Sicuramente la pasta salsiccia e tartufo e i tortelli… spettacolari!
Ma la cosa che colpisce di più è la gentilezza del personale: sempre sorridenti, disponibili e attenti, ti fanno sentire davvero accolto.
Insomma, un posto dove si mangia bene, si sta bene e si torna sempre volentieri.
