Wonderful little place!
On our way back from a trip to the area, we decided to extend our stay and stop here for dinner. It was a delightful experience with very hospitable service. They had fresh porcini mushrooms picked that day and brought us a truly generous tagliatelle, which we devoured! It's a shame the tray wasn't edible, otherwise we would have eaten that too. I would like to point out that work must always be respected and not denigrated with one or two stars. But how can I give more than three if: we practically ate what was available and off the menu and without a price, the staff was, let's say, unprepared in describing the dishes and their availability, dining outside? If they turn on the lights, 10 thousand flies come which obviously you find everywhere! So? As soon as it was possible: I paid the bill (exaggerated despite the various setbacks and management problems) and off to home... The owner and her staff have reopened the restaurant in the village that was closed for a few months, bringing a touch of novelty to the menu without upsetting prices and conviviality. The menu offers Neapolitan dishes prepared and expressed with products from Vesuvius and some typical local dishes. Upon advance request, fresh fish dishes are also prepared. The staff is friendly. Prices are average for the area.

We got there a little early on a Saturday afternoon. The owner was friendly and made us feel welcome. The menu card was simple but good. The owner made a special menu with fresh salads according to our wishes.
The spaghetti and gnocchi on the main menu are all handmade, and they're delicious. At last, we get a nice gift—some special limoncello.
The atmosphere is clean and simple. It seems the people of this small city like to eat there. Grazie and we like to come back

Sensationelles neapolitanisches Essen. Der neue Besitzer hat das Lokal seit Dezember. Ein richtig herzlicher Sizilianer mitten in den Bergen über Bagni di Lucca.
Toller Gastgeber, super Essen! (und das Wichtigste: Endlich mal jemand, der weiß, wie man gutes Brot bäckt!)
