29/07/2025: The bar was indeed very beautiful and had a great vibe. Also, the staff were very friendly and attentive (except for the bouncer outside who scanned us in a slightly rude manner).
The drinks themselves were definitely on the expensive side and they underdelivered. They weren’t bad, but they weren’t exceptional. Both the taste and presentation lacked the premium one would expect from a bar which presents itself as exclusive and luxurious.

08/06/2025: Nonostante abiti abbastanza vicino a questo ristorante ieri sera con la mia famiglia ci siamo recati Ai Fagiolari. Scelta azzeccata in piena. Ambiente curato ed elegante, cibo eccellente e materie prime scelte con cura. Da provare i tagliolini alla Gricia mantecati nella forma del pecorino, ottimi i fritti. Carta dei vini eccellente. Personale raro da trovare, Jacopo che si è occupato del servizio un ottimo uomo di sala.

27/07/2025: A couple of weeks ago my husband and I were in Florence, we tried to find places that offered authentic Italian food, with legion products and typical dishes of the place, the last night we arrived at this place where we were told that it was authentic Italian food and with products from the Tuscany region (I don't know if that's entirely true since we are not experts in Italian food), the thing is that my husband and I liked the food although it was the most expensive meal we ate in Florence it was also the one we liked the most, the treatment and attention were good and we had a nice evening.

05/07/2025: Recently, I suddenly remembered this restaurant that I had eaten at more than ten years ago. On a whim, I immediately made an appointment with friends to revisit the taste of the past. The environment is similar to what I remember, not much has changed. It still focuses on seafood dishes, and the familiar atmosphere makes people travel back in time. The menu offers set meals and a la carte. We finally chose a five-course set meal, and ordered two more shrimps (after all, it feels uncomfortable without adding some 🤣).
| Appetizer | The two appetizers are one cold and one hot. The cold one is raw food and the hot one is cooked food. The taste is excellent, which is the kind that will make people appetizing and look forward to the next rhythm.
| Add points | We added a crayfish, red devil shrimp and smoked salmon. Both shrimps are super fresh and sweet, with a firm and chewy texture. They are definitely one of the highlights of the night.
As for the salmon, it is a bit average.
| Main course | The main course is handmade Italian dumplings with squid ink, and the skin is the highlight!
The skin is bouncy and has a bit of seafood flavor, which goes really well with the red devil shrimp.
The only pity is that the filling is sheep's milk filling...
It's a bit too greasy for me (personal taste issue),
In the end, I only ate the skin and shrimp, which is just right!
(If the filling is fish, I will definitely give it full marks 💯)

Saffron crispy red mullet, with raisins, pine nuts, and kelp,
The aroma and taste are very rich, the fish skin is crispy, and the fish meat is tender,
It is a very satisfying main course.
|Dessert|
The dessert is a little sweet, but it is still within an acceptable range,
On the contrary, I prefer the peanuts 🥜𝖯𝗋𝖾𝖣𝖾𝗌𝗌𝖾𝗋𝗍.
Overall, this dinner was very satisfying.
Each dish had its own highlights.
The only small regret was that the dumpling filling was not to my liking.

24/07/2025: Roaming the streets of Florence has you parched with sore feet and a grumbling tummy. You gasp with unanticipated delight as you emerge from the alleyway and step into Piazza Santa Croce. The deeply patinated buildings in this piazza attest to the rich history in this city—one of Italy’s finest.
Here, in the shadow of the Basilica of Santa Croce, is Finisterrae. Its unassumingly humble facade belies the gastronomical wonders that await you within. Truly delectable culinary creations happen here—the Florentine T-Bone is a prime example. There are seafood options, poultry dishes, pasta plates, and many others to choose from—all are delicious I’m sure. *They seem to have a tendency to undercook steak so request one temp above what you want and you will be happy.
Service here is second to none! Marco served our party of 11 with finesse and fashion a plenty. He exemplifies what others in the business should aspire to. Unwaveringly professional, courteous, and polite. His situational awareness keeps him one step ahead so you will never want for anything while you dine. For us he displayed his refined skills as a sommelier by uncorking, aerating, and presenting to us several bottles of fine wine. His knowledge of wine is expansive allowing him to suggest vintages for uncertain oenophiles. Marko is 100% invested in his craft and it shows through as he takes great care to ensure a fine dining experience is had by all. It’s rare to encounter someone who hustles and takes pride in what he does the way Marco does.
When in Florence you should dine at Finisterrae and ask for Marko!
24/07/2025: The restaurant is located in the beautiful Piazza Santa Croce. The service was excellent, and Marco was very kind. We had the Florentine steak, which was good value for money.

24/07/2025: The Atrium Bar at the Four Seasons Florence is everything you would expect from one of the most exclusive and beautiful hotels in the city: classic, charming, and intimate, with a truly elegant atmosphere that reflects the historic grandeur of its setting.
The bartenders embody what one hopes for in Italy – consummate professionals with warmth, impeccable manners, and a genuine passion for their craft. Service is both attentive and graceful, enhancing the entire experience from start to finish.
As anticipated in a venue of this caliber, drinks are priced at the high end (approximately €25 per cocktail), and we initially intended to enjoy just one. But the first was so exceptionally crafted that it turned into four rounds of truly outstanding cocktails. A standout recommendation is the barrel-aged Negroni, easily one of the best we’ve ever had – balanced, deep, and perfectly executed.
The Atrium Bar is the ideal place to unwind after a full day in Florence – serene, stylish, and unforgettable. Highly recommended for those seeking a refined end to their evening.
01/07/2025: Truly spectacular place, kind and super helpful staff, very particular cocktail menu and a huge selection of spirits. I highly recommend it when you have a little more to spend.

08/07/2025: I went there this morning to see a dear friend of mine, for a brunch together and to have a chat. I had never been there during the day and I have to say that, even though we are right in the historical and tourist center of Florence, unlike the evening you can strangely breathe a popular, quiet, calm atmosphere that allows you to chat and calmly enjoy the moment. We sat in the small outdoor area and had a great time. The service is attentive and fast in timing. Intrigued by the name of the dish I chose to have the punk chicken, and it was truly wonderful because the pieces of meat were very crunchy/punk and very tasty/punk. A good unfiltered Icnusa and a tasty schiacciata did the rest, accompanying our dishes, simple but very good. The quality of the food is good and the prices are average. I recommend it because it deserves it.

22/07/2025: An experience that would have deserved an extra star if the price hadn't been so high. The location is enchanting, inside a villa that's often the venue for events or weddings. The restaurant is an ultra-luxury establishment, even boasting a green Michelin star (for sustainability). The dishes are refined, and the menu is undoubtedly high-quality. The dish that made the chef famous, chicken livers with dark chocolate puff pastry, is one to remember. The only downside is the price, as it was more expensive than other restaurants with actual Michelin stars. In short, a highly respectable restaurant, with a menu that may not be cutting-edge but is truly top-notch, and for a few dozen euros less, it would have deserved five stars.
21/06/2025: Overall, extremely subpar experience despite some highlights. Food and service being the lowlights. Of the dishes we tried, 50% were inedible (e.g. mullet, grains). We also had two times where the portion sizes were drastically different between two people at the same table. The servers didn’t do anything about it. For example, the spaghetti portions had one that was 50% the other which was comically bad. Another artichoke dish one plate had 3 and another plate only had 2. Shocking how little attention to detail the restaurant had for being so expensive. The service was also extremely slow (which I can understand given they were busier), but with the price, our expectations were much higher. I don’t recommend anyone coming here because of the lack of quality control and training in service.

28/07/2025: So terrible. The water is not bottle water but it charge me 3 euros. Everyone also charge 3 euros for called “cover charge”. So disgusting the service. Very bad. Don’t come to this restaurant here if you are alone cause once you sit down, you will be charged 6 euros cause 3 for bad water from bathroom and 3 for cover charge. 음식이 정말 맛이 없어요, 모두들 오세요
26/07/2025: È difficile trovare un ristorante aperto a Firenze alle 14,30 h !!! Nonostante sia una città piena di turisti non hanno il ritmo spagnolo in termini di pasti, e può essere molto difficile trovare qualcosa di aperto (un fast food invece non è un problema). Questo locale è dall'altra parte del fiume, passando il Ponte della Carraia. Offrono un menù ad un prezzo ragionevole ed eccellenti carni come ossobuco e il tipico controfiletto intagliato con rucola, pizza al trancio con olio d'oliva e delizioso tiramisù. Servizio un po' lento per i pochi commensali che hanno. In breve, ottimo.
