12/10/2025: We were camping nearby for a few days and wanted to do some shopping on Saturday afternoon. According to the internet, the market was supposed to be open from 5 p.m., but when we arrived, it was closed. Opening hours on Saturdays are only until 1:30 p.m. A shame.

16/09/2025: An unforgettable evening, spaghetti with homemade basil pesto, white wine... the warmth, simply perfect! This will remain a highlight of our trip to Italy this year. Thank you.

01/01/2026: A very rustic and charming restaurant; we ordered two portions of coccoli: small but good. The pizza was expectedly average: a sheet of dough, with little mozzarella, plus the fries became a pizza with fries. The quality was quite satisfactory, but we left with empty pockets and empty stomachs.

07/02/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance. The music in the dining room was a bit loud, the waitresses were kind, and then came the surprise: the pizza, a unique experience. It's been a long time since I've smelled the scent of raw olive oil on pizza. I'm writing this review 12 hours later. I slept great, no thirst, excellent digestion, and no bloating. Then I discovered they specialize in fish, and not only that... I'll try it... It's a shame about the sparkling water; the machine broke, but it's justified by the excellent dinner. Congratulations. I'll be back.

13/12/2025: We ordered takeout pizzas and when we picked them up we were told that the order had been forgotten. Embarrassing.

22/12/2025: We were in Florence only for a day and we wanted to get most authentic Florentine dishes. The restaurant is a small family owned tucked away in Via De Capaccio a narrow renaissance lane. Food was sensational.

17/12/2025: As soon as I turned the corner towards the tavern, the owner left. I thought it was a coincidence. Upon entering, I noticed a camera pointed not at the shop door but at the corner of the access road. A first and second course cost over 80 euros, with a small bottle of water. Negative experience.

03/03/2026: At Ristorante Pizzeria Pizza Man, the pizza had adequate dough, but it was served with cold toppings, such as tomato and buffalo mozzarella, which compromised the experience. The temperature difference affected the flavor and texture of the whole thing. They could improve the presentation of their dishes.

Pena que o atendimento de 1 única pessoa quase pode estragar tudo, os outros garçons uma atenção ótima, mas nossa garçonete com tatuagem no barça e a mais alta das 2 que estavam lá é de uma grosseria sem tamanho, comparado com o atendimento de todos os outros profissionais ela se destoa de forma negativa da forma tão rude de ser. Mas famamos do que realmente importa, que seria a experiência gastronômica e com a melhor vista de Toscana. Vele a viagem pois isso não tem preço.

22/12/2025: One of the few restaurants in Castelfalfi (there was another one in the castle but it was closed), they don't accept reservations on holidays, you have to queue and enter when it's your turn, very polite and attentive staff, good dishes, the only flaw is the somewhat "limited" menu... otherwise we had a good time, and the service was even fast despite it being a holiday (December 8th).

15/12/2025: A refined atmosphere and excellent service. Due to the Immaculate Conception long weekend, the menu offered few dishes other than pizza. As for desserts, there were only two options, but they still cater to all tastes. I tried the tiramisu and I must say it was exquisite.

17/03/2026: I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best meals/restaurants I've ever had in my life. I don't understand the negative reviews, because it doesn't deserve them. I happened upon it with my boyfriend while walking and we decided to try it without a reservation. The service was beyond welcoming, and we were seated right away. As soon as we arrived, bread and water were served immediately. Shortly after, Chef Alberto showed us and explained the first courses, and he was really helpful because he also gave us some recommendations. He suggested a wine that paired perfectly with what we ordered: cappellacci with ricotta and truffle and cappellacci with pears. We loved them from the first bite, so much so that I didn't even take photos; I just enjoyed them. You can tell Alberto and his mother cook with passion. Even the second courses had a very homey taste, like grandma's cooking, made with nothing but love. Thank you so much, everything was truly delicious. When we return to Florence, we'll definitely be back here again. Congratulations ❤️

18/02/2026: For several years now, friends and I have been booking this place for Carnival Sunday. It's not a huge place, but it's excellent for enjoying various cuts of meat and tasty appetizers. Wide selection of wines and rums. Highly recommended!
