17/05/2025: Spectacular, an excellent dinner prepared by a very kind and welcoming host. The food was truly excellent, traditional Tuscan and genuine flavors. The place was nice. Definitely an excellent evening with a sublime steak. Prices were very fair for the quality of the products. Congratulations.

01/05/2025: Andare da Massimo è un po' come approdare al solito porto sicuro. Il locale è accogliente nella sua semplicità e trovo la sua pizza sottile decisamente buona. Il titolare, apparentemente burbero, in realtà è molto attento ai desideri del cliente. Prezzi ragionevoli.

24/04/2025: Excellent dinner before boarding. Fast and friendly. We had an appetizer (anchovies, onion and vinegar, their flagship item), Livorno-style cod and fried fish. Really fantastic.

04/04/2025: I was there in June 2023 if I'm not mistaken... Experience immersed in nature... Very kind staff, I gave the room three stars because it was full of cobwebs, the very old Samsung brand TV with a decoder... The location, which is surrounded by nature was ok... But the phone didn't get a signal and I couldn't notify the relatives! There was only Wi-Fi! Everything else is ok... Just a piece of advice... We are in 2025, use some modern technology in your hotel! P.S: Magnificent breakfast! 5 star service!

24/12/2024: Attentive and competent staff. Buffet breakfast served on the terrace in the shade of the cypresses. The swimming pool is also beautiful. We relaxed for a couple of hours before tackling the journey back to the car. Free parking available to customers

04/04/2025: I have been there, I must say that the owners are special people, the husband is a professional in the kitchen while the wife is the best in the details of the whole place and the other is very kind and nice. If you pass by, stop and enjoy a good day

27/05/2025: Very nice restaurant, on the street, but with a table outside too. We ate tortelli and spaghetti with porcini mushrooms, everything was exceptional, even the dessert. Friendly and sociable owner, fast and attentive service, but simple and pleasant environment, highly recommended, also for the prices!💛

03/06/2025: Ambiente carino, personale cordiale. Avevo ordinato un tipo di impasto per la mia pizza, ma mi è stato consegnato un altro. Era la prima volta che lo assaggiavo, quindi non potevo conoscere la differenza con gli altri. Al momento del pagamento l’ho fatto presente alla ragazza, la quale mi ha detto che forse chi aveva preso l’ordine aveva capito male e punto. Avrei preferito quantomeno una risposta diversa. Ingredienti buoni, ma l’insieme nulla di speciale.

09/04/2025: Location molto carina e ambiente familiare. La pizza non é il pezzo forte della cucina, troppo sottile. Buono il resto. Servizio amichevole e prezzi nella media. Quel che stona però é l'aerazione del locale, praticamente assente. L'odore della cucina ti rimane addosso e non é il massimo. Strano in un locale nuovo così, é un limite forte.

23/03/2025: Ieri sera io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo cenato nella nuova location e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Abbiamo preso un antipasto per due , scroccazucche , e io ho optato per una tartare con verdure al pinzimonio, mentre il mio fidanzato ha preso una tagliata al lardo. Tutto buonissimo, abbiamo accompagnato la cena con un ottimo vino della casa. Il menù è cambiato ma ci hanno assicurato che i piatti verranno ripristinati presto! Parcheggio molto più capiente del vecchio locale anche se pieno abbiamo trovato posto grazia all' aiuto di un signore. Prezzi nella norma e giusti , ne vale la pena.

13/05/2025: Bella posizione sulle colline con una bella vista sui monti pisani e un ampio giardino ben curato. Ottime materie prime ben presentate. Portate limitate in numero ma ottime per qualità. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da provare sicuramente.

12/05/2025: Locale molto grande, in campagna, attrezzato anche per eventi. Servizio informale abbastanza curato. Menù ridotto, ma tutti i piatti assaggiati sono piaciuti. Io ho mangiato degli ottimi pici rossi al vino ed una tartare di filetto veramente ben condita. Apprezzati anche i filetti e le tagliate. Buoni i dolci, io ho assaggiato un cheese cake freddo (forse non propriamente un cheese cake) alla nutella.Discreto rapporto qualità prezzo.

19/05/2025: We waren er op basis van een aanbeveling die zeker niet gelogen was. Het vriendelijke personeelsvoorziening de gasten van voortreffelijke gerechten klaargemaakt op basis van eerste klasse producten. Gemoedelijke en aangename sfeer.

02/01/2025: Ristorante ben curato e accogliente. Il personale sempre disponibile e gentilissimo. Ottimo cibo, curato e delizioso. Consigliatissimo a chiunque cerchi la tipica cucina toscana.

19/05/2025: Ottimo in tutti i sensi: caretteristico, ottima qualità del cibo, ottimi vini con un ricarico onesto e poi...come i ristoratori di una volta, alle 15 ti accolgono con il sorriso e ti fanno accomodare, non ti mandano via. La carne eccezzionale assieme al lardo di patanegra e per finire un cantuccino fritto. Ormai la nostra tappa fissa dopo la partita domenicale. Gli ospiti che portiamo sono sempre gradevolmente sorpresi e soddisfatti.

16/05/2025: Quando un imprevisto si trasforma in un'opportunità. E l'opportunità è stata quella di conoscere questa locanda in mezzo alla Lunigiana dove si mangia bene. Davvero bene. Menù molto interessante. Abbiamo fatto delle scelte, ma c'erano molti altre proposte che avrebbero meritato. In ogni caso i crostini(oni) misti, i crostini di polenta con i funghi e le tagliate (con lardo di patanegra e, l'altra, con zola e noci) sono state ottime scelte. Buono anche il vino della casa. Un Chianti gradevolissimo. Il conto onesto e giusto. Menziono il sig. Melchiorre, il padrone di casa, per la sua gentilezza sia prima che durante la cena. Lui sa il perché. Grazie ancora.

15/06/2025: La mejor comida que tuvimos durante nuestra estancia en Florencia! Combinado con su servicio amable y eficiente. Recomiendo encarecidamente esta osteria a cualquiera que quiera sentirse bienvenido. + tiramisù fue morir por : )

09/06/2025: Nuestro primer día en Florencia, después de un vuelo muy temprano, viajando y luego visitando Pitti y los jardines, estábamos absolutamente hambrientos de hambre a media tarde y entramos sin prestar toda la atención o revisar el menú. El personal era amable, nos sentó (solo en el restaurante) rápidamente y era atento. Teníamos pequeños cuencos de pasta con trufa, con Aperol Spritz. El agua y el pan fueron traídos - teníamos el agua pero no tocamos el pan. Solo después de pagar, sin haber recibido nunca una avería antes, me di cuenta de que nos habían cobrado 5 € por el pan y lo mismo por el agua. Solo acepta estos si realmente los quieres. Lección aprendida. Otros lugares que visitamos no cobraban por el pan o incluso proporcionaban aperitivos gratis con bebidas, así que esto se sentía como si hubiéramos sido turistas atrapados. Afortunadamente el resto de nuestras comidas y experiencias durante nuestra semana en la Toscana mejoraron enormemente.

15/05/2025: This is a true “expensive and absolutely worth it” experience. All of the food delicious and creative—the chef her is an artist with amazing depth and thoughtfulness. Even the apparently simple dishes are memorable. The service is exceptional, and the waiter makes great recommendations on a routine basis. A fantastic place to relax after a busy day in Florence. Reservations are necessary, as they are also mindful of their food planning each night, but the online reservation process is easy.
