26/09/2025: Very friendly staff, delicious and creative food(The best octopus I’ve ever eaten). Definitely worth a visit.

18/08/2025: The view from the terrace is beautiful, but that's where the positives end. The guinea fowl was dry and tasteless, the pasta was okay, but I expected something better. The portions are quite small. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this place.

14/10/2025: I'm editing my review from a couple of years ago to say that I've been recently and everything has changed for the worse. A side dish of simple, tasteless boiled carrots, priced at €4, is a prime example, as if it were a real side dish! Avoid.

29/09/2025: On our way to Tuscany, we were waiting to pick up our car at Chiusi, while the rental company took their mandatory two hour afternoon siesta. We chanced upon Trattoria Porsenna when looking for a lunch place and to also spend the two hours. This is by far the best meal we have had so far in our two weeks Italy trip. Thank you for a lovely meal, superb service and your kind hospitality while we waited. Great food and super value for money….Just fab!

12/09/2025: Here, I was able to enjoy a great gluten-free pizza without any contamination. The setting was simple, but the taste was impressive.

12/09/2025: Pizzeria with a wide variety of pizzas, including homemade gluten-free pizzas (+€1.50). Personally, I found the gluten-free dough to be better than the traditional one. Food tip: I've tried this place several times, but the tomatoes were always a bit undercooked.

08/09/2025: We stayed and ate here 9 years ago: fantastic. But now, in 2025, what a disappointment. The location is fantastic. But the food was a huge disappointment. Tasteless!

05/10/2025: Very nice location, very large and clean room, but not very bright. The breakfast was excellent, with the option of having it outside. We chose a room with a jacuzzi, but unfortunately, we encountered problems with this service. It got stuck, and we were forced to leave immediately, turning off the switch to prevent the bathroom from flooding. When we called reception, they told us this had already happened and was normal, to wait and try again later. This resulted in problems again, and we didn't enjoy the service we expected.

12/10/2025: We had a lovely lunch is a beautiful setting quite by accident. We happened to be in Volterra and hungry. ETRURIA fit the bill. Tuna salad platter and Stromboli were delicious and fresh. We were only 2 people but the lovely greeter went out of her way to make sure we could have a table inside the restaurant. Thank you and good luck.

09/10/2025: Very friendly staff and we really enjoyed the pizza and the pasta. I had the Tiramisu for dessert which was so delicious. Would recommend!

26/10/2025: Large Italian restaurant for pizza and pasta. Fast service, the pizzas are okay for a place like this, but it's not an authentic small restaurant. A tasty appetizer is included, and a free limoncello is included with the bill. Nothing wrong with that.

20/10/2025: A truly lovely place with unique decor. The food was top-notch, truly well-cooked and well-served. The young, well-trained staff couldn't give it more than five stars, otherwise I would. Thank you so much for your hospitality; we'll definitely be back.

02/10/2025: We went there for the second time and had spaghetti vongole again; it was the best we've ever had! The service is excellent; the chef, Luca, is there personally to greet his guests, and you can only pay the bill directly with him.

03/09/2025: We were there a few days ago. The location is stunning, both for the garden and the hotel-side entrance. The friendly service is perfect for those who appreciate attentive service. They even seat you with the person who sets your chair. If your glass is empty, the waiter will come promptly. The pizza is good, but not the best I've had. The dough is easy to digest, and the ingredients deserve a 4 out of 5, so it gets a thumbs up. The desserts also get a thumbs up. The price is obviously higher than average, but it's justified by one of Florence's most prestigious locations.
