07/04/2026: Very beautiful place surrounded by wild nature!!

23/02/2026: We booked for 1:15 PM. We arrived and were seated immediately. The waiters were circulating among the tables. We asked twice to place our order, and the kind waiters replied, "Yes, right away." At 2 PM, we got up to leave 😡 and a (young) waiter intercepted us to tell us where to go for the bill! 🤣....I must say that the courtesy was there both when we greeted and when we said goodbye....it's a shame that only one person was taking the order and there was a lack of attention! 45 minutes without even a drink seems like too much! Water and wine could also be given to the waiters! The outside seating is nice, but the inside, which is a walk-through area (everything was turned off), is less so. The menu is all seafood, with only one meat dish! ....hungry, we went to another restaurant, which, despite telling us the wait would be 15 minutes, half an hour, seated us after only 5 minutes. Ordered already, and served with water and wine! ...we'll see! The next day... This morning I received an email (not pre-arranged) apology from the restaurant where they invited me for next weekend... Really appreciated! It deserves an extra star. Everyone makes mistakes, the important thing is to grow!

14/12/2025: We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful B&B. From the first moment we were greeted with such warmth and friendliness, making us feel immediately at home. The place is a true haven of peace, surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The rooms are clean and meticulously maintained. Breakfast was a true treat: plentiful, authentic, and full of truly delicious local produce. We can only say thank you for this wonderful weekend spent in such a special place. We will definitely be back! ❤️

31/12/2025: Incredibly rude front desk staff! They should not be in hospitality. I left my room key in the room and went to my friends room next door with the door open but a strong wind came to blow my door shut and I was locked out. I asked the front desk staff for help the man was angry and frustrated and scolded me for locking myself out and now he has to dig through the drawers to find the right key... It was a huge inconvenience to him... This completely ruined my stay..

07/09/2025: We found it by chance on our way back from a weekend in Orvieto. We ordered the mixed crostini, tagliatelle with rabbit ragù and crème brulee. The food was homemade and delicious, and I'd definitely return. The service was neither excellent nor infamous.

06/09/2025: It's a great idea to get off the highway and eat here instead of at a rest stop. It's a small place, but perfect for a quick stop and some typical dishes without breaking the bank.

22/02/2026: Dinner for three with six shared dishes, a dessert each, two glasses of wine, and a bottle of water. A welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the evening. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. Dishes are carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and feature interesting pairings. You can sense the attention to quality and balance of flavors. Personally, my favorite dish was the fake shrimp pizza; I highly recommend it.

18/02/2026: A unique experience with my boyfriend. The atmosphere is relaxing and makes you almost lose track of time. The quality of the food is exceptional, and the staff is extremely professional and available to answer any questions or suggestions. The location blends a modern style with artwork created by the owner and traditional elements. We will definitely be back.

18/07/2025: Piatti ben cucinati, girando molto per lavoro abbiamo provato vari ristoranti ed anche vari tortelli di patate, questi i migliori, pasta sottile, abbondante e saporito ripieno, ottimo anche il coniglio ripieno, le patate arrosto, e latte alla portoghese da 10. Qualità prezzo ottima.

13/07/2025: Excelente comida a un precio razonable, de gestión familiar. Andrea es Italiano de tercera generación dirigiendo este restaurante. Gran servicio y comida! Teníamos pastas, parmigiana de berenjena y ñoquis. Teníamos pastel de abuelas y tiramisú de postre que eran excelentes. Este tiramisú fue diferente a otros que hemos tenido en nuestro tour de comida y vino de Umbría y Toscana, que termina en Roma. ¡Ambos fueron increíbles! Sin duda recomiendo este restaurante!

26/12/2025: Update December 2025: We celebrated Christmas here with our family. Service was excellent, and the food was excellent. Three seafood appetizers (see photo) cost €60 (paccheri with cherry tomatoes, scampi, clams, and lupini beans), mixed fried fish with anchovies and fried vegetables, and panettone with cream, water, wine, and coffee. It was sold out. Update 2025: Everything is always great at La Casina! --- We're regulars at this restaurant, and I can say it's an extremely good restaurant, especially for the price. The dishes are good and plentiful, and there's no cover charge. I recommend the tagliolini with lobster, the seafood sauté, and the cacciucco (fish stew). Located in the Viareggio pine forest, 200 meters from the sea, it offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with air conditioning. During high season, it's better to reach it by bike than by car due to the lack of parking in the area (free parking nearby from 1-3 PM and after 8 PM). They often offer a free after-dinner drink at the end of the meal. - August 2023. This year too, we've been to the local restaurant a couple of times, always top-notch. The seafood is good and plentiful, and there's a fixed-price menu available (4 appetizers, 2 first courses, fried food, and water, plus wine). The staff is friendly and helpful, and there's a wide variety of "ammazza caffè" (afternoon tea) for those like me who don't get the usual "amaro del Capo" (a bitter liqueur). Don't be put off by anyone who complains about slow service. The staff is always busy, but when there's a lot of people, you might have to wait, but that means you'll eat well!

26/12/2025: Christmas lunch set menu. Everything was excellent, from appetizer to dessert. The staff were knowledgeable and extremely friendly, the service was prompt, and the place was spotless. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

26/03/2026: I used to go there often in the past. It's unfortunate to say, but it used to be much better, but now it seems like a classic tourist trap: the food is truly awful and the prices are too high.

30/03/2026: The pizza by the meter is good, the service is a bit slow, but the place is large and often hosts large groups. I recommend it for large dinners.

29/03/2026: I had a well-made Sazerac for the first time in a long while. The Aviation had a bit too strong a pickle juice flavor. You should definitely visit if you come to Florence.
