16/03/2025: We arrived at 1pm....now it's 2.41pm and we are eating the first one, 2 tagliatelle with tomato and a pappardelle with wild boar. We wanted to have a dessert but we decided to leave it alone... the wait really devastated us. The only positive side of this place is the space for children!

21/03/2025: good pizzeria in the center of Florence. I wouldn't call it one of the best but objectively the dough is soft, good and the ingredients are quality. The environment is super characteristic and the staff is kind. Average prices

11/03/2025: Given that I am not a lover of Neapolitan pizza (de gustibus), I really liked the pizza here. I was expecting the usual slightly chewy thing, but instead I was surprised by a very chewy dough with an excellent flavor even in the crust. In short, tasty pizza and above all very digestible, which did not weigh us down at all. The zeppole are delicious! Good service, helpful and kind and a very relaxed atmosphere with (Neapolitan) music that doesn't slip into the conversation but really does what it's supposed to do: in the background. Well done.

10/01/2025: My husband and I had dinner in this restaurant last January 5th and we were lucky enough to have the place just for us. It was a magical evening to say the least, because the waiter Riccardo, of a more unique than rare kindness, had prepared a table for us right in front of the lit fireplace and guided us with preparation and skill to taste the delicious dishes. In fact, the menu follows Lorenza De' Medici's original recipes, based on Tuscan tradition and local food but with combinations of particular and precious flavours. Praise here goes to chef Gianluca Di Virgilio, who made us savor beetroot ravioli stuffed with goat cheese, cappellacci made with fresh truffle pasta and pecorino fondue, braised beef cheek with cocoa sauce and spring onions and other exquisite delicacies we have never tried Before. Thank you so much for everything, despite the distance we will try to return as soon as possible!

05/01/2025: Il personale molto accogliente e mette a proprio agio. Ottimi piatti ben curati. Le porzioni non erano eccessive ma sufficienti. Il prezzo è adeguato al menù ed alla location. Siamo stati benissimo grazie alla prossima.....

10/12/2024: Unfortunately I was a little disappointed by the lack of some courses included in the menu and not available (pigeon, kid and green lasagne). Environment with disastrous acoustics (entering room on the right) and very kind waitresses, but overwhelmed and a little confusing perhaps due to too many customers arrived at the same time. However, the dishes we took (there were 6 of us) were of good quality. We will give the place a new opportunity. The view over Massa is exceptional, but the road to get there is pretty tough.

05/12/2024: Posto un po' fuori mano, con bella visuale sulla città, direi quindi meglio d'estate. Cameriera molto formale. In 4 prendiamo: due menù funghi (completi), più un primo, un secondo e due dolci. Spendiamo circa 35€ a testa. Antipasto onesto, primi buoni ma di porzioni misurate. Tagliata buona e anche abbastanza abbondante. Dolci (torta di riso e tiramisù) piccoli e deludenti.

23/03/2025: For the first time we went to this restaurant. As soon as we entered the atmosphere was magnificent. They welcomed us with so much enthusiasm and love. 25/03/2025: Mai più, purtroppo. Adoravo questo posto ma l'ultima esperienza è stata pessima. 1 ora e 15 minuti per ricevere la prima portata, ovvero un "tagliere" da 16 euro, che conteneva pochissimo affettato, 2 crostini insapori che dire piccoli è poco e una, ripeto UNA fetta di pecorino con una marmellata spalmata sopra (almeno mettila a parte). Primo completamente insapore. Prezzi folli, solo per rendere l'idea, 1lt di vino della casa in brocca 20€.

09/04/2025: Cena in due con scelta del menù degustazione di pesce 5 portate a testa. 1 Antipasto 3 Primi 1 Dessert. Ottimo tutto. Dire cosa mi ha colpito di più non è facile. Tutte le portate sono un ottima armonia di sapori. Complimenti a tutto lo staff dalla cucina alla sala.

08/04/2025: Dinner for two with a choice of the 5-course tasting menu each. 1 Starter 3 First courses 1 Dessert. Everything is excellent. Saying what struck me most is not easy. All courses are an excellent harmony of flavors. Congratulations to all the staff from the kitchen to the dining room.

05/04/2025: It was still empty in March and not a big selection of fish. We were a little late and the waiter was in a hurry to get rid of us... but the fish was very good, as was the appetizer platter, which took some getting used to for us.

29/03/2025: Awkward service, confusing way of ordering and bickering with us customers. Quality of food that doesn't justify the really high prices, neglected environment.

16/02/2025: Siamo capitati a pranzo dal Preludio per caso, ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Ambiente ricercato. Piatti ottimi e ben presentati. Personale gentile e collaborativo. Abbiamo preso due polpo arrosto e un tortino entrambi ottimi. A seguire tagliatelle, agnolotti e filetto di chianina. Tutto perfetto. Per finire un dolce ben presentato … e ancora più buono. Insomma, niente da dire se non : bravi!

27/11/2024: Amazing restaurant. Fabulous service and food. Their home made limoncello was excellent, and they also sell this at their store next door. The lady was so nice to bring us there. This experience was such a beautiful pre-Christmas festive one

27/03/2025: È stata una meravigliosa scoperta,abbiamo pranzato qui oggi e posso dire che dall'antipasto ai primi ai secondi al dolce era tutto buonissimo!!!complimenti davvero, è difficile trovare un ristorante dove si mangia così bene,ci torneremo presto, complimenti ancora.

06/04/2025: Returned after about 25 years... I found what I had left. Typical Tuscan atmosphere, very good pizza and very good and plentiful food. Advised.

23/11/2024: Very long waits even though the place wasn't fully booked. Reduced menu on Saturday evening, without having notified the reservation. Inattentive service. Food quality worse than when U was present.

29/03/2025: Don't come here if you aren't a local or if you are in a hurry. I had to wait for 30min to get a seat because the only available seat was inside and for some reason they didn't want to give me that seat 😐. There were long delays for everything, even for getting the bill and then for paying it, I would have waited around 40min. I would have been happy if the food was exceptional, but the food was just below average. And I think I was charged for stuff that I didn't order, but I was annoyed and wanted to run away from the place so didn't argue and just paid the bill and left the place for good.

06/03/2025: Sono stato a pranzo in questo ristorante e devo dire che mi è sembrato di stare a casa, ambiente tranquillo, personale squisito, piatti gustosi e prezzi modici. Se dovessi capitare di nuovo da queste parti ci verrò di sicuro!
