24/06/2025: What an experience. Food, amazing! Service, amazing! Price, amazing. We had asked in a juweler-store in San Gimignano where it would be best to eat. It should be good italian food, not to touristy, not to high-class. They immediately recommended this restaurant. And what a treat it was!!! Extremely, extremely high quality and sitting outside in the yard; it felt like sitting at a friend's garden. If you want a real experience in San Gimignano; go here for dinner. It is an absolute joy!!

23/06/2025: We are from Verona and we had dinner in this restaurant during a short vacation in San Gimignano. Intimate and refined atmosphere, quality raw materials and expertly prepared that give life to dishes with very successful creative combinations. Attentive, friendly and professional service. Very interesting wine list, we drank a good Vermentino di toscana. Really good

24/07/2025: One of the best, if not the best, vegan restaurant I've ever been to. All the dishes are lovingly prepared. The homemade vegan cheeses all taste unique and delicious! Everyone was friendly, and the food is more than worth the money.

20/07/2025: For those who don't want to eat meat and want a cuisine based exclusively on vegetables, I recommend this place in Livorno. Its cuisine is based on vegetables and vegetable creams. We ate everything from appetizers to desserts: a pumpkin starter, a pesto first course, which I personally found a bit too heavy, but was good, and a second course of grilled eggplant with cheese and endive fondue, if I remember correctly. The desserts are long to explain, unique, and different from the classic desserts. Worth a try.

27/06/2025: Warm atmosphere, great food. I can only recommend it to anyone visiting Tuscany. Many places know how to make good food these days, but you can't buy service and atmosphere. You get everything here.

09/07/2025: I come to Lucca several times a year and this place is always a must. Just outside the Santa Maria entrance to the wall it is one of the best “not so touristy” places around. The food is always amazing and the staff are a delight!!

07/07/2025: Six of us had dinner to celebrate my mother's birthday during our trip to Tuscany. This place was recommended to us at the nearby campsite, and it truly did not disappoint. The food was excellent, and you could tell it was all homemade and made with love. The waiter served us with passion. They have an extensive wine list. Highly recommended. Make a reservation before going, as it's not very large.

04/07/2025: Discovered by chance while I was taking a motorbike ride... the restaurant is very small and characteristic and takes you back in time... a real tavern with dishes prepared at the moment... excellent first courses and desserts, the owner is courteous and friendly. Recommended.

24/06/2025: One of our best meals in Italy. Traditional Italian dishes with a twist. We got the truffle pasta, rigatoni, and the pork. All was soo good. Would love to come back one day. The patio is also a great atmosphere

23/06/2025: It was my first vacation in Tuscany, and I had been looking for the perfect accommodation for a year, and we found it here. 🥰 Allesio and Ricardo's story touched me, and their concept convinced me. We were able to spend nine nights here. The room, in typical Tuscan style, was quiet and very clean. Our hosts were very welcoming and gave personal tips for excursions when needed. The evening meal at Locanda le Guinche was particularly delicious. A table was reserved for us at any time. A big compliment to the kitchen 👌🏼everything here was absolutely delicious. We were always warmly welcomed at breakfast; breakfast was served to us at the table and was always very fresh. Our only criticism was that we would have liked a bit more variety during the 10 days. Excursion destinations were easily accessible, and after a strenuous day, the refreshing dip in the pool was simply perfect. All the best for your future, Allesio & Ricardo... maybe we'll see each other again sometime. Doreen & Karsten

29/06/2025: We had lunch during a visit to Sansepolcro. Looking for a restaurant that served gluten-free and lactose-free dishes because my daughter is following a particular diet. We were welcomed by Sara and Serena impeccably. We had two first courses and a tartare of Piedmontese scottona, all really delicious. Very characteristic and elegant place, we will definitely be back!

Chosen for a lunch on the way back from Umbria with friends, we were all pleasantly surprised! ...first of all our friend, who eats gluten-free and who has never seen such a choice of dishes and above all so good! The staff and owner are exquisitely courteous and helpful. Excellent service! Too bad it's 350 km from home! Recommended: absolutely yes

11/07/2025: One of the best meals of my life! The menu made it hard to choose, but the dishes we picked left us with no regrets. Everything was delicious! The setting on a serene and picturesque square is perfect. You won’t regret coming here.

01/07/2025: I have now been to this restaurant 5 times over the years and it’s better each time. Not only some of the best food in Tuscany for vegan, but best food in general. I’ve been to dozens of restaurants in Tuscany and this one is always the best, hands down. It is in the sweetest, quietest town that is incredibly charming and relaxing especially for a short walk after dinner. The owners are so friendly and kind. The ravioli and tiramisu are outstanding. I would go really out of my way to visit this place if I were you.

28/06/2025: Just wandered by, outside of the tourist area, just perfect in every way. Friendly attentive service. Food was great. We were typical american tourists, showing up early, not wanting a lot of food (after two weeks here and our clothes shrinking). They split our appetizer, so good. We had a pasta dish and a salad. One of the better meals we had in Florence, at half the cost of the fancy places along the river. Our meal cost includes wine.

14/06/2025: We went to this family-run restaurant and the thing that struck us the most was the welcome: very kind staff, always attentive in asking if everything was ok. A special thanks to the lady who even gave us some garlic, with a spontaneous and truly appreciated gesture. About the food, maybe not everything met our tastes, but the commitment and kindness that they put into it still deserve a positive note. A place where you can feel that they work with their heart.

13/06/2025: Food was great. Lucky to have walked in and grabbed a table when they opened. It is very small. Only 8(?) tables. My wife still raves about the Gnocchi. It was the best she has ever had! Chocolate cake was expensive, but was worth it! Really amazing!!!! Wish I could take this restaurant home!!! You must try.

Good choice of dishes on the menu, wide range of quality wines at a very affordable price. Also opportunity to watch food being prepared in kitchen via tv monitor (if interested). Highly Recommended

24/06/2025: Highly recommended. Starter, main course, and dessert were all very good. We spontaneously got a table for two on a Tuesday evening without a reservation. A glass of Prosecco with focaccia was served beforehand, followed by a limoncello to finish. Great ambiance, food, and service.
