03/11/2024: Place in a quiet and cozy location just outside the main squares. Inside it appears a little confusing, with a modern, almost circus-like style, with combinations of historic wooden furniture and bright curtains. Overall you can see the desire to be elegant, I would aim for that. As a first course, two tagliatelle with mushrooms and saffron, good, slightly watery and not too tasty. Maybe I would use some porcini mushrooms and review the balance between the flavors to give the dish a little boost. Like a second Florentine steak, matured for 70 days, perfectly cooked: rare but not cold. Tasty and tender, slightly orange fat, really good. Baked potatoes truly to remember, light and fragrant, not heavy, crunchy. The manager is a truly capable and attentive person who transmits passion. Service of the Fiorentina cut at the table performed very well. In essence, a place with great potential, if you fix something it can be at the top.

20/10/2024: The place is simply a spectacle, the waiters are extremely professional and friendly, the open kitchen is an inimitable live show. Unfortunately I fear that I am not a person suited to this type of environment. The impeccable service with the waiters always ready to fold your napkin if you get up or brush your chair made me a little intimidated. I was afraid to get up to go to the bathroom because I was afraid of making a bad impression. Aware that I am out of line, I am not criticizing anyone, I am writing this to inform those who may be as unaccustomed as I am to such a service. The food is very particular, whether you like it or not depends a lot on your tastes so I wouldn't feel like judging anything. One thing I feel like writing because it could be useful is that with the bread they put on the table, the starter dishes and the desserts, in the end I also relieved my hunger. I was sure that I would wake up hungry due to the numerous stereotypes that exist about the concept of gastronomic routes. Obviously, we shouldn't expect to have a load that will blow the button off our shirt, but we shouldn't even think about having to eat a sandwich as soon as we get home. Price without too many surprises, although I was a little impressed by the still water, so be careful if you take too many bottles. To conclude, an experience that I am very happy to have had. I don't think it's my thing. But I suggest trying at least once.

10/12/2024: Truly exceptional, there wasn't a detail where I could find a flaw. Everything was perfect, from the concern to find us a place because we hadn't booked and they were fully booked, to the food and the final bill. Excellent

09/12/2024: Food and service are excellent, atmosphere is great thanks to the courtesy and friendliness of the owner. Gran Tosco offers plenty of well prepared and delicious dishes and has an excellent wine choice. I do recommend it to visitors and tourists if they happen to stay in or stroll through the center of Grosseto.

01/01/2025: Love, passion, kindness... these are some of the words that you read on the shop windows and that you find immediately as soon as you enter and again on the plates. 6 of us tasted almost everything Menu from starters to dessert and each dish was a sensorial experience of the highest level Compliments to the chef… we will definitely return as soon as we return from Those parts!

11/12/2024: Our first fine dining experience in Florence and it was excellent. I didn’t know what to expect but I loved almost all the dishes. I especially loved the unexpected surprise dishes. Our server, Marco, played a giant role in how good of a time we had. He seemed so proud to present the dishes and his excitement made us excited. The fish dish was a very big miss for me but overall the dishes tasted very balanced and flavorful. The only thing lacking was creativity as most of the dishes didn’t really come off as special or innovative. However the fine service and taste more than made up for it.

11/12/2024: This was our first trip to Italy. We stumbled across this place while trying to find a laundromat of all things. Roberto and Monica are the friendliest owners we have met. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the prices reasonable, although I would have paid more for the experience we had. As our short stay came to an end, Roberto thanked us with something akin to an Irish coffee, except with espresso instead of regular coffee. He told us they don't often get tourists, but if you are reading this, please do your best to change it. We will definitely return to this hidden treasure of Florence Grazie Monica and Roberto!

17/11/2024: Concentrated menu with attention to detail and the seasonality of the products. The proposal is refined and different from the classic Tuscan menu. Very nice and accommodating host, warm environment. honest price. we will be back!

05/11/2024: Impeccable! It was 9.30pm, the kitchen was about to close, but the owner welcomed us anyway. Small and essential environment, very nice owner... it's impossible that it doesn't make you smile at least! Fast and attentive, he goes back and forth alone between the kitchen, the dining room and the cash register... congratulations. Excellent quality and honest prices... one of the best restaurants I've ever tried! Crazy tastes. I'm really happy to have tasted my first Florentine steak here! It's really worth it! We also tried the pumpkin, stracciatella and truffle flan; the gnocchi stuffed with pear with gorgonzola fondue and crunchy raw ham... wow! Too bad we were too full for desserts... we'll have to go back 🥰

16/08/2024: Quella da Bisteccatoscana è stata un' esperienza incredibile. La Bistecca è l'elemento centrale attorno al quale ruota tutta la meraviglia di questo posto che cura ogni minimo dettaglio: dall'arredamento dell'ambiente ai vini e ai piatti di accompagnamento, dalla griglia dove viene cotta la bistecca alla scelta accurata della carne. Tutto prepara a quell'incontro di sapori che si sprigionano nel mangiare una Fiorentina come non avevo mai provato prima.

31/10/2024: Absolutely fantastic food, great service. If I didn't know it was a vegan restaurant, it would be hard for me to tell by eating the dessert. Nice music in the background. If you're in the area, you have to go there!

27/10/2024: We had lunch in this place on the recommendation of acquaintances, the ravioli and desserts were excellent... I recommend it especially to non-vegans who are always a little skeptical towards plant-based cuisine... Compliments to the chef!

21/08/2024: Ate with a group of friends, ate well, very good pici with garlic, duck with orange, which is not a dish I usually like, very good as was the tagliatelle. Pleasant house wine. All under €50 including coffee and digestive.

30/07/2024: One of the best vegetarian restaurants (and non-vegetarian too :)) where I have had the opportunity to eat, the dishes are as good as they are beautiful and the choice is varied enough to satisfy everyone. Bonus for the children's dish which in addition to being very good was very inexpensive. In addition, the choice of bottled beers will delight everyone, special mention for the French triple :) To recommend and to do again with your eyes closed. Thank you very much for this culinary moment.

A place in the center of Florence where you can eat really well and where the air you breathe feels just like home... impeccable service and super attentive to the smallest details which are what make the difference (congratulations especially to Simone who managed to be a great host). A stage absolutely not to be missed!

26/12/2024: Cozy, central place with friendly and helpful staff not to mention the excellent dishes, much appreciated that it offered typical Tuscan cuisine. We ate a platter to share, a peposo and a scamonita with roast potatoes

12/12/2024: Perhaps the best dinner I've ever had, difficult to even describe. I was amazed by the flavours, even different ones, that were released with every bite of the same dish. Even from a simple wild boar pasta, sensations never felt before emerged. It was a real experience! Satisfied and happy. I can't wait to return

08/12/2024: We went to Il Giglio for lunch and had a great time, we ate the risotto with pumpkin, cabbage and chestnuts which was delicious, the place is original and the staff were very kind! We will be back soon.
