23/08/2025: I go often when I'm in the area, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the menu is extensive, both for the restaurant and the pizzeria. The impeccable service makes for a pleasant evening. Plus, the bill is affordable. I hope to return soon.

05/09/2025: Fish-based food, all the dishes we ordered were sweet and sour caramelized, impossible to tell what type of fish it was. Terrible service, served the fish main course before we'd even finished the appetizer. Never again.

14/08/2025: A terrible experience. It starts with the menu, which is sparse, and continues with the dishes. "Delicate seafood salad...": I could have stayed for hours chewing this rubbery substance they'd reduced to the octopus, three shriveled mussels, and three shrimp with an unspeakable taste and texture. The oil is supermarket-quality, but of poor quality. We had it changed, and they opened a new bottle in front of us, but the result was the same. The mixed fried fish is full of peppers and zucchini, and the fish, with the exception of the small fish—the only real fish of the evening—is the calamari, which is so salty and rubbery that it makes no sense! In short, at a Sicilian restaurant with a view, all that's left is the view, and you pay for that with a hefty price tag. It's truly scandalous that tourists, perhaps because it's their first time eating Sicilian food, are forced to eat these things. And unfortunately, those who are inexperienced and unwary don't realize this. We complained on site, but all we got were big smiles. How sad! It's unfair that you're taking advantage of your little corner of paradise to sell these goods prepared this way. We're Sicilians, we're in our sixties, and we know Sicilian cuisine.

14/08/2025: We were in the restaurant, the place was practically empty, 3 tables were occupied. The waiter pointed us to a table where we sat down. When we placed our order, we wanted to order a bottle of wine, the waiter informed us that this wasn’t possible because this is a restaurant and this is where you eat. The waiter refused to accept the order because we only wanted to order a bottle of wine. We are disgusted. Our rating - 1. You have a lot of work to do on the standard of customer service.

11/04/2025: Outstanding seafood and incredibly fresh fish, beautifully presented. The wine was exceptional, and the desserts were truly memorable—especially the pistachio tiramisu, a delightful twist I’d never seen before, but absolutely delicious. Service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance, right by the sea in a cozy, charming spot, made the experience even more special.

07/04/2025: ieri sera cena a base di pesce eccezionale. neonata cruda delicatissima, un risotto alla pescatora con tutti sapori del mare e poi una seppia cruda la cui semplicità ne metteva in risalto la freschezza. il tutto innaffiato da un calice di insolia ricco di profumi. la cortesia e la simpatia del proprietario, hanno reso ancor più gradevole la serata. grazie Davide e spero di tornare presto!

25/07/2025: Agriturismo in mezzo alla campagna fra ragusa e santa croce Camerina colpisce subito l’organizzazione e la disposizione, da un lato la struttura con il punto vendita e a seguire lo spazio per la degustazione, delle grandi sale che sfociano in un giardino esterno ben curato. Il personale estremamente gentile ti accompagna al tavolo. Prodotti di una bontà eccezionale, ricotta mozzarella burrata e formaggio sono veramente top non da meno il formaggio le salsicce la cotoletta e l’hamburger, provato anche lo stufato di bufalo ottimo. Chiuso con il classico cannolo buonissimo. Soddisfatto pienamente ad un prezzo ottimo. Ci tornerò

29/06/2025: I was very satisfied with this place. The prices are really great, in fact the mixed roast horse (the one in the photo but missing the horse sausage) is in fact 13 euros. That horse meatball, the rolls but above all the sausage that melted in your mouth, were exquisite. The waiting times are very short, as everything arrived in about 15 minutes. I really recommend it, for those who want to eat out, well and spend little. I also recommend getting the mixed roasts (normal or horse).

14/08/2025: The food was poor in both quantity and quality. We paid €66.50 each and had only one appetizer, one first course, and three bottles of cheap wine for seven people. The mixed fish appetizer, which was meager, contained only three types of fish; the rest consisted of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and potatoes. The first course, with sea urchins, had barely 40g of pasta. Not a single sea urchin was visible. Two forkfuls and we were staring at each other. The result? As soon as we left, after spending €66, we had to buy two mini pizzas each. For half the money, at nearby trattorias, you can eat twice as much and better quality. The only positive point was the location, on the sea and well-kept.

13/08/2025: Beautiful location with tables on the beach. The food was good, but not great. Many ingredients were unavailable, so the selection was limited. But that can happen. The biggest flaw was perhaps the service. The reservation hadn't been recorded, and the waiters weren't very knowledgeable.

08/06/2025: This place might look like a regular supermarket at first glance, but it’s so much more than that. Tucked inside is a fantastic deli counter with freshly sliced meats, cheeses, and everything you’d expect from a proper Italian salumeria. We had the panini with pesto, mortadella, and stracciatella cheese, and it was nothing short of incredible. The bread was perfectly toasted, the ingredients fresh and flavorful, and the combination of creamy stracciatella with the slightly salty mortadella and aromatic pesto was just perfect. It’s the kind of sandwich you remember long after you’ve finished it. After ordering, you can sit outside and enjoy your food in a relaxed, casual setting – perfect for a quick lunch or a laid-back snack break. Definitely not your average supermarket stop!

10/08/2025: The best restaurant in Porticello and surrounding areas. Everything is fresh, super fresh. We went for lunch today and we'll be back for dinner again. A great find.
