12/03/2026: I was excited to have some fresh seafood right next to the fish market but this place fell flat. The dishes we ordered (octopus appetizer, tuna and mixed seafood pasta) all disappointed for one reason or another. The octopus was overlooked and chewy, the tuna was cut unevenly and thus some parts were significantly over cooked while others were just about right. The pasta dish disappointed on numerous levels.
Add in two bottles of water and the 30€ we paid for lunch seems like highway robbery when compared to our dinner the previous night. The only real high point was the dense bread they served with the appetizer.

17/09/2025: Good place for a simple meal, decent cuisine. Too bad we couldn't enjoy a sea view, but overall the food is still satisfactory and the flavors are quite classic.
10/09/2025: I had the pleasure of dining here last night. The place is very elegant and pleasant. We were served by very kind and helpful waiters, always ready to recommend the right food.
We started with a delicious shrimp cocktail, followed by spaghetti with clams and gnocchi with pesto and shrimp, all accompanied by a fruity white wine that made the dinner incredibly tasty. We finished with a panna cotta and an apple tart.
Nothing to add, everything was perfect. The sound of the waves in the background created a magical atmosphere.
If you love good food, this is a must-try, highly recommended!

Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty and well prepared dishes. It can also be consumed on site. Highly recommended 👍

22/12/2025: A simple little restaurant, but that doesn't mean it's not good quality. The menu is limited, but it has everything to satisfy those who want good food. I had the mussel soup with a very good, not too heavy sauce. The squid was also good, cooked properly and flavorful. Prices are reasonable, not expensive. The atmosphere is clean, and the service is friendly.
21/12/2025: Chitarra costa di Mongerbino was my favorite pasta. Good pasta, nice place, friendly people!

13/01/2026: The food was good. I don't regret going there, but I already know of restaurants in Trapani where I enjoyed the food more.
22/10/2025: It's a fishing cooperative, serving fresh local fish. The highly recommended pasta appetizers also contain a decent amount of fish and are filling. The fish come straight from the boat and, like everywhere else in the Mediterranean, are rather small. If you like thawed pollock fillet—preferably breaded—this isn't the place for you. They serve very good and inexpensive wine.

The food was plentiful and of unquestionable quality. Your courtesy is priceless and can never be taken for granted. Thank you, thank you, thank you. My guests have inundated me with phone calls to compliment the good food. We are a large family and luckily there is always something to celebrate. 12/02/2026: I've known La Scogliera for about 15 years, and the food and service have always been exceptional. Last week, a friend and I went for lunch. We waited an hour and a half for a plate of burst mussels and a plate of penne with scampi. The pasta was RAW, tasted like boiled pasta with no flavor whatsoever, and the two scampi on top were also raw. We went to pay, and the bill read: "Pasta with scampi minus pistachio cream." Not only was the pasta awful, but they also took away an ingredient and charged us €50.00. I'm done.
08/02/2026: This isn't my first time here. The two stars are for the food, which is generally acceptable, but the service is truly awful and shocking. You sit down and aren't even asked if you'd like water, they don't have a order list, and you have to constantly call the waiters because they never look around the room and you simply become a ghost. Your appetizer arrives without bread, and another 10 minutes pass before anyone notices you're calling them. And no one even comes around to check on everyone else. That said, I don't think I'll return.

24/08/2025: Really good. The sandwiches are 500g each, so I recommend getting one for two people. The sandwiches are made with excellent quality ingredients and are nice and filling. The staff is very young and friendly.

24/12/2025: Delicious food and service. The owner and staff are attentive and incredibly friendly. Today there was a variety of antipasti, delicious fish, and to finish, lots of desserts, each accompanied by a little story. Tomorrow I'll be back for pizza when the wood-fired oven is lit. Highly recommended!

01/02/2026: Alas, I went there for a baptism and I would say it is absolutely inappropriate and unsuitable, hypocritical to bring as plates things that have been frozen for a lifetime. The pizza is even decent, but the atmosphere is truly too oppressive and closed, certainly not suitable for important celebrations.
