09/08/2024: The food is very good and the dining room is well decorated. However the waiter (the manager I suppose) is hateful. No smile, doesn't take the time to taste the wine and is brutal in handling the bank card when paying the bill.

22/08/2024: Al ristorante Acquadelferro del Best Western Santa Caterina di Acireale, la cena di pesce è un viaggio tra sapori autentici e panorami indimenticabili. Ho degustato un trancio di cernia in guazzetto di pomodorini datterino e basilico che mi ha davvero conquistata. La selezione dei vini completa un’esperienza di gusto unica. Se cerchi il connubio perfetto tra cucina siciliana e panorama da sogno, questo è il posto giusto.

02/08/2024: Highly recommended...excellent central location, with the possibility of eating outdoors. We had dinner enjoying a revisited carbonara, a traditional norm, a slice of beef with parmesan rocket and balsamic vinegar glaze, accompanied by an excellent wine from among the wide selections. Adequate portions and high quality...appropriate price. We closed the dinner with an artisanal pistachio truffle... and a delicious orange distillate offered by the owner, very kind, present and attentive in giving the right directions. Even at the beginning of the dinner we enjoyed the tasting of bread and extra virgin olive oil. What can I say... everything was perfect... we will definitely be back. As we said hello we learned the secret of the goodness of the dishes served...the chef is the wife...family management is certainly their strong point...Thank you

01/11/2023: Très bonne adresse , sur les hauteurs de Cefalu. Vue splendide sur la mer et la ville. Havre de paix sur la terrasse, au calme, avec musique jazzy très discrète. Produits frais et savoureux. Présentation simple et soignée. Prix très raisonnables. Service professionnel: chaleureux et efficace. Café offert. A tester aussi le soir pour profiter des lumières de la ville … Équipe fiable! Merci

27/08/2024: Very nice and quiet place, for those seeking peace and tranquility. The phone doesn't work and the wi fi is only available in the lounge, but for those like us who want to rest and get away from everything for a bit this place is perfect. Breakfast and dinner are excellent, with most dishes made with products prepared by Laura. The owner also made us a map with places to visit, too bad we only stayed one night Very positive experience, if we happen to be in the area we will certainly return

07/06/2024: Staying here means fully immersing yourself in the woods and the wonderful nature of Etna and having the opportunity to taste the delicious dishes cooked by Laura. The location is perfect for exploring Etna and the surrounding places. We stayed for two nights and in three days we visited Taormina, the Alcantera gorges, the summit craters of Etna, other places on Etna, did wine tasting in the nearby vineyards, visited thousand-year-old oaks... in short, it is an excellent location. The rooms are a bit spartan but a lot of care is taken in welcoming guests. I stayed with some American cousins ​​who had never been to Sicily before and I am very happy that they had the opportunity to experience the proverbial hospitality and generosity of this wonderful island and its inhabitants.

04/09/2024: Excellent! It's September 4th and it's 10.15pm so probably the workload isn't such as to complicate the service, which was excellent for us. Nice and fast guys. We ordered the Grantonio sandwich, which is served with french fries and delicious mayonnaise, but above all it is made with top quality ingredients. Soft, tasty and perfectly cooked meat. Crispy bacon and a truly unique balance of flavors. Last but not least, the lightness of a dish that could sometimes be heavy, but in this case absolutely not. Well done.

03/08/2024: 02 August 2024, 32 degrees in Palermo... not even very hot.. I go to dinner with the family and they make me sit in the internal room with air conditioning. They let us sit but we immediately realize that the evening will be STICKY. Only one air conditioner on for a large room with doors open to the outside and therefore NOT sufficient for the room. They brought us the menus straight away and we had to ask them to order. Good appetizer. In the meantime the heat was becoming more and more suffocating and the room was gradually filling up and the normal consequence was that the temperature of the room rose even more. At this point we asked if we could move to another table where the more direct jet of air arrived... and WE WAS ANSWERED BY THE WAITRESS..."DO AS YOU WANT" so armed with good will and sweaty we ONESELF joined the tables and we brought the pizzas as soon as they arrived. Good pizzas but my wife's was WRONG. We ask for a Messina beer and they only bring us one cold glass and not two (my wife and I) Once everything is finished... I pay and leave. PS. At the next table they forgot to bring the appetizers (it was a table of at least 12 people.... they brought the pizzas straight away. NEVER AGAIN!!! BOTH FOR THE VERY CHEAP SERVICE and for the location which in summer is to be ABOLISHED

03/08/2024: 02 Agosto 2024, 32 Gradi a Palermo... nean he caldissimo.. Vado a cena con la famiglia e mi fanno accomodare nella sala interna con aria condizionata. Ci fanno accomodare ma da subito si caposce che la serata sarà APPICCICATICCIA. Solo un condizionatore acceso per una sala grande con porte aperte verso l'esterno e quindi NON bastevole per il locale. Ci portano subito i menu e per ordinare abbiamo dovuto sollecitarli. Antipasto buono. Nel frattempo il caldo si faceva sempre piu soffocante e la sala si stava via via riempiendo e la normale conseguenza é che si alzava ancora di più la temperatura del locale. A questo punto chiediamo se ci possiamo spostare in un altro tavolo dove arrivava il getto dell'aria piu diretto... e CI É STATO RISPOSTO DALLA CAMERIERA.." FATE COME VOLETE" quindi armati di buona volontà e sudati abbiamo DA SOLI unito i tavoli e ci siamo portati le pizze appena arrivate. Pizze buone ma quella di mia moglie SBAGLIATA. Chiediamo una birra messina e ci portano solo un calice freddo e non due (io e mia moglie) Finito tutto... pago e vado via. PS. Nel tavolo accanto si sono dimenticati a portare gli antipasti (era una tavolata di almeno 12 persone.... hanno portato subito le pizze. MAI PIU!!! SIA PER IL SERVIZIO MOLTO DOZZINALE che per la location che in estate é da ABOLIRE

05/08/2024: We frequented this restaurant for two consecutive days. On Sunday, we requested a table in an air-conditioned environment, but the place was unbearably hot, and we sweated during the meal. The food was excellent; we ordered pasta with pistachio sauce and zucchini risotto with shrimp. On Monday we returned and asked to sit on the porch. The atmosphere was pleasant, with good wind circulation, and we opted for other dishes: pasta à la Norma and pasta carbonara. Both were delicious. We also tried the horse meat, and the meatballs were very good. The waiters' service was a little confusing, due to the large number of customers and the difficulty in meeting demand. The price is fair.

10/08/2024: The road to get there is the most irrelevant flaw. On the 10th of August they don't turn on the air conditioning because "we now have the doors open"... we ate while wiping our sweat. No grilled vegetables "because today we are in difficulty" A plate of rolls consisting of 2 micro rolls. We wait 15 minutes at the checkout because "someone will arrive immediately" We can't say anything to the waitress, she's very kind!

16/07/2024: Terrible welcome....no one showed us our table, after a bit of research we managed to identify it. It was 8.40pm....a gentleman arrives, probably the owner, who in an extremely confidential attitude takes our order. There were six of us and we all opted for the 15 euro pizza menu. Shortly afterwards the drinks and chips arrive. Given that it was not possible to converse, due to the music being constantly at an exaggerated volume. At around 11.00 pm, since the pizzas were not arriving, some of us went to ask several times. Another wait!!! Pizzas on the horizon....three burnt on the top but above all on the bottom.....tomato and mozzarella inedible....and to conclude a drop of a horrid bitterness. Evening to be cancelled. Luckily we had a good time among friends. I don't think I'll go back again.
