17/04/2026: The importance of details. We returned to the Baglio after 10 years and, as before, we encountered the same warm welcome from the owner. Nothing is taken for granted; in addition to the kindness, it was immediately noticeable that, unlike many other establishments in the area, here at the Baglio the bread isn't the usual defrosted bread, which is certainly more economically manageable, but a homemade product toasted with oil and oregano. The appetizer consisted of several courses, all balanced in quantity and flavor. The first courses were excellent, especially the spaghetti with datterini tomato sauce and eggplant cream. We continued with a slice of cod with creamed potatoes and roasted artichokes. There was a wide selection of bottled wines, not just the usual Nero d'Avola and Inzolia by the glass. Finally, the owner offered Amaro di Arancio e zenzero (a rare find in almost all restaurants these days). To conclude, a famous saying: three is all good things...we'll be back!

The staff was always friendly, helpful, and professional, making our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was generous and varied, with fresh, quality products. I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family without hesitation.

06/07/2026: A terrible experience is an understatement! We celebrated our wedding at this venue! Poor service from start to finish. Very sloppy organization. Waiters were incompetent, food was insufficient for all our guests. There was no attention paid to allergies and intolerances, nor to the number of people served, despite the meticulous table plan provided to the venue's owners. Restrooms were in terrible condition. The contractually stipulated menu was not respected. Despite the considerable expense of hosting a banquet for over 200 guests (the bill was paid), we are deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency and the humiliation we felt in front of our guests. Highly discouraged!

10/06/2026: We chose this restaurant to celebrate my son's First Communion, and we couldn't have made a better choice. It was a perfect day from start to finish. The venue was decorated with great care and elegance. The menu, agreed upon in advance, exceeded our expectations: from appetizer to dessert, each course was a perfect balance of freshness, quality, and impeccable presentation. All the guests, from the youngest to the oldest, complimented us on the excellent food. A special thanks goes to all the staff, especially Peppe. We felt at home. 08/04/2026: IDEA FOR 2026. WE REACHED THE DESTINATION BY BOARDING IN GENOA AND ARRIVING IN PALERMO. AN EXCELLENT IDEA. Aside from the various coves, it's worth going to LAKE VENUS (reached on foot from the main road that leads from near the sea, then a 15-minute walk through the woods). Another option is CALA MANCINA, with a beautiful CAVE, CALA TONNARA, and the ZINZARO RESERVE, which is essential. VERY DETAILED MAPS CAN BE FOUND LOCALLY. TRAPANI AND BOAT TRIPS ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH AN AGENCY (TOWARDS THE SOUTH). BEST TIME: END OF MAY/JUNE.

11/07/2026: A fantastic family restaurant located on the main street in Alcamo Marina. The service is exceptional. A wide selection of dishes: pizza, seafood, pasta, and salads. 23/08/2025: The Jeep guy owes me an apology. Last night I was abused for leaving my car in the unloading lane, which has a 12-hour time limit. From 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, I parked after 9:30 PM, and the guy thinks he owns the road. You couldn't unload the drinks in 12 hours? And you attacked us, saying you shouldn't park there and using foul language. Last night was my son's birthday, and you got us off to a bad start. I'm very careful when I park, and there were no handicapped spots. If there had been, I would have parked there. You weren't right, even though my children and I had to put up with your bad temper. The most rational thing would have been to admit your mistake and apologize.

02/11/2025: My experience was negative. I'll start with the dining room, which isn't air-conditioned, and I could understand why there were only four tables occupied during the week, including one with some young people watching the game on TV, making it seem like we were at the stadium. We ordered three fish appetizers, two roast fish, and a fried fish. What we immediately noticed was the spicy shrimp cocktail. When I asked for an explanation, the kitchen told me that Tabasco had been added to the sauce (I'll leave that up to you). As for the fish, or rather the appetizers, they weren't up to par with freshness, with things that were repeated in both the appetizer and the roast. I'd like to give a constructive review, but when I went to the cashier, I expected not a discount, but some justification from the owner. Instead, I found a girl who gave me the bill, to whom I didn't say anything, even though we had a bottle of wine that cost 25 euros. For six people, ordering for three, we ended up paying for eight.

26/06/2026: The place is very quiet, not in the mainstream area but close to it. The owner is the waiter and he was sitting outside, doesnt speak english, only a few words. We ordered pasta with sea urchins and swordfish rolls. The pasta was great and enough but they gave us only 2 swordfish rolls for €18 and an additional €5 for side dish (which he didn’t mention was extra money, i thought it was included with the rolls). For dessert the tiramisu was a bit modern (with chocolate sauce and powder sugar), small and expensive also.
