27/05/2026: I got a pizza from this self-service restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a VERY BAD experience. The pizza was truly inedible: the dough seemed frozen or old, hard, and flavorless. There was too much mozzarella on top, making everything heavy, and the fries seemed stale and reheated several times. Considering they make pizza, I expected at least some basic quality. Disappointing in every way.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

19/07/2025: Pochi piatti ma cucinati con dovizia, ho riassaporato i sapori della nonna... Servizio sufficiente, la location lascia molto a desiderare, specialmente per la zona dove è situato il locale, sicuramente non turistica.
18/07/2025: Nos encontramos con este restaurante que está en Ortigia, justo al lado de las calles principales pero con vistas al mar. Fue realmente excelente. No turístico. Genuinamente bien cocinado y comida local súper fresca. Me comí el especial de pez espada y mi marido tenía el especial de atún que dijo que era la mejor melodía que había comido. Sobresaliente. Personal encantador y bien informado. Buen Inglés hablado.

16/05/2026: This restaurant has a captivating duality. The location seems to have stood still in time: an authentic, nostalgic, and charming atmosphere that defies current trends.
The real surprise, however, is in the food. The cuisine is surprisingly innovative, rich in research and modernity, but above all, delicious. Exceptional flavors that leave a lasting impression, without getting lost in unnecessary frills.
A magnificent contrast between past and future. Highly recommended!

We asked for a bottle of water and they didn't bring it.
€1.50 cover charge is excessive, even if it had a sea view.
Furthermore, the prices are exorbitant and don't match the quality of the food.
The food isn't good quality; the sausages were cold, tasted like they were from the fridge, and there was too much oil on the pizza.
The sausages were badly cut.
The fries were incredibly salty.
I even have a stomachache, and I've had heartburn.
Besides that, the staff is very kind and respectful... the atmosphere is lovely, but the prices and everything else are awful.
I felt like my money was stolen.
Have a nice day.
04/05/2026: We had a really excellent meal and found the dishes very tasty. The service was attentive, with explanations of some dishes in French, and the value for money was good.

01/06/2026: The pizzas came out burnt... the frozen mixed fried food definitely looked like rubber... the second course plates were incredibly uncomfortable... €8 for 4 bruschettas, nothing special... I spent less and they were better. The mixed fried food was rubbery, €20... €6 for a salad... what can I say, there are no words, it lacks accuracy and quality.
01/06/2026: We all ordered fish-based entrees, including pasta with red shrimp sauce. None of these dishes were truly well-made, and the pasta with red shrimp sauce had everything but red shrimp. Honestly, I didn't enjoy it at all. I don't know what the pizza is like, but I wouldn't recommend it for fish.

08/05/2026: I randomly walked into this restaurant and they were going to start service an hour later but they kindly offered me to sit in and served me coffee. I waited until they opened the restaurant and I was served by Angelica. Angelica’s service was outstanding and she was sooo lovely. She recommended me two starters. The oysters were 10/10 and the tuna was so delicious. I am so happy I randomly walked into this gem while trying to find another restaurant Google was recommending. This place deserves more than 5 starts !!
06/05/2026: Amazing! The food is of the highest quality. The taste and presentation of every dish is perfect. The owner, who visits each table, is very friendly and cares that each individual has an experience that they won't soon forget.

29/12/2025: Good pizza, quiet atmosphere, and good pizza. I highly recommend this pizzeria, with very large, well-topped pizzas. It's a shame, though, that the website only shows photos/descriptions of burgers that aren't actually on the menu. So, if you're looking for something else, be careful. Reservations are convenient via WhatsApp. If you have small children, it's best to let them know in advance, or you might not find anything for them to eat. In conclusion, it's good... but please update your information on the website!

13/05/2026: A café and pastry shop where you can stop for breakfast or a rotisserie. I know they serve first and second courses for lunch, and the menu changes daily. The friendly and helpful staff makes this place a must-visit when you're in the area. I highly recommend it.

11/04/2026: The chicken is good, no doubt about it. But the miniatures you serve with it are truly hilarious, let me tell you. Tiny, squarish arancini, sad, and devoid of any toppings; tiny brioches with zucchini on top, ugh! Plus, they say they give you 6 miniatures and 6 arancini, but today I found 6 arancini and 3 miniatures (maybe my money was worth less?). I go to other chicken shops that are more generous and tastier!
31/12/2025: Order placed with Glovo (the restaurant uses its own drivers so Glovo only handles the orders): cold chicken, "gone" fried food (I would have called it potato chip spread) and an hour late compared to the scheduled time.

12/04/2026: I highly recommend Hotel San Pietro. Its strong point is undoubtedly its strategic location, but what really makes the difference is the human touch: the owners are exceptionally kind and helpful. The rooms are spotless, and the breakfast is excellent, a perfect start to the day. A huge thank you to all the staff for their professionalism!
11/04/2026: Our room and bathroom were simply furnished. There was little space for two suitcases.
Unfortunately, there was a lot of plastic waste at breakfast.
