04/08/2024: Vi var blevet anbefalet at prøve denne restaurant. Vi fik kalve tatar til forret. Jeg fik Tun filet tataki til hovedret og min kone fik kalve filet. Alt smagte fremragende. Restauranten ligger lidt væk fra strøget og ved en smuk park. Man kan også få pastaretter.

26/07/2024: We booked online a day in advance and the following morning we also went personally to confirm the booking. When we arrived at the restaurant right on time, however, the table was not available. We decide to leave and not wait for a place that was supposed to be reserved but, outside the restaurant, we are stopped by another waiter of the restaurant who decides to make a table available to us, which we understood was normally intended for a larger group of people. numerous. This attempt by the waiter to smooth over the situation was, however, outweighed by the rudeness of the first waiter, the one who had welcomed us as soon as we arrived, who loudly and in a very rude tone accused us of not having given him time to say that the table was available and that they were simply finishing setting it up. It's a shame, however, that this same treatment was reserved for all the customers who arrived after us with reservations, it was in fact a succession of complaints from people left standing and waiting, disconcerted by the lack of seriousness and professionalism that one would expect from a restaurant that It passes itself off as a classy place. Moving on to the culinary aspect, the dishes were mediocre: the shrimp and vegetable tempura was heavy, the linguine with mussels and clams was very salty and completely unrelated to the sauce, it looked like pasta with oil in broth, while the fish soup, still served steaming, it had thorns. We left the pasta intact and no one approached us to ask us if there was some problem with the dishes. With reference to waiting times, we waited for the first one for a good hour and 45 minutes, the people around us were snorting because they were hungry, a group of exhausted tourists, with a child of about three years old, left early that they decide to bring the dishes, all surrounded by a couple of customers next to us who will have waited for the table for 45 minutes because the diktat of the place is to make people wait indefinitely rather than granting a table of four to just two people, even if there is no longer a queue outside the venue. I conclude by saying that although we were sitting inside we suffered a lot from the heat. What to say? It was a Saturday evening of passion, inefficient organisation, not enough dishes, and this happens when the customer for certain establishments represents only a wallet from which to take as much advantage as possible with minimal effort. Evidently the difficulties of the lockdown have not raised awareness even of this range of restaurants which in the end are "touristy" in the worst possible sense.

07/08/2024: I went to this nice place with my girlfriend. They assigned us a table on the terrace where we were the only ones until the end of dinner. Beautiful welcome and a lot of attention from the waiters. Excellent food, fresh and good quality fish. The only but not insignificant negative note was the bill. Having booked with the fork we were entitled to a 20% discount on the courses excluding drinks and instead we paid the amount in full. In particular, we ordered and paid as per the menu: house starter €30, tagliolini with mazzara prawns €27, braids with red pesto and swordfish €16, Salina bianca wine €24, a still water €4.5, 1 semifreddo with almonds €8, cover charge €3.50 each so €116.5 in total instead of €99. Highly recommended place but to avoid if you count on receiving the pre-arranged discount on the fork

31/07/2024: Excellent dinner, very good caponata and pasta alla norma and for the second course truly special citrus spatula rolls. The restaurant is in an alley on the main street of Lipari, it has tables both outdoors and indoors.

03/09/2024: Absolutely impressive! The scenery, the beach, the food (My wife and I loved the linguine with lobster, the tiramisu, and the coffee.)

31/08/2024: The TaoBeach lido in Taormina is a real jewel. Located in one of the most fascinating and historically rich locations in Italy, it offers a seaside experience that combines natural beauty, comfort and high quality services. The staff are proactive and you can see that they do their best to let you enjoy your holidays. The food and cocktails are also of a very high standard. Mandatory summer stop :)

26/07/2024: Abbiamo mangiato da Dio! Tutto Delizioso… caponata, pesca spada, tris di tartare… e una zuppa di cozze squisita. I proprietari sono molto preparati e gentilissimi. Consiglio questo ristorante e non vedo l’ora di poter tornare a Trapani per mangiare di nuovo qui.

24/07/2024: We called in here and the staff were very accommodating in finding us a table. However, we found the food to be a little bland with very little accompaniments for the main dish. We elected to have a green salad with our fish which did not really enhance the meal. I would suggest they add more side dishes. Also,the waiters need to be a little bit more mindful when they put food on the table to not just slap it down and walk off.

18/08/2024: We booked a table outside the restaurant directly on the port. Excellent idea. The table was well set and with attention to the smallest details, right for the cover price. The lady in charge of ordering was kind, helpful and responded politely to our questions and requests about the dishes. Even the waitresses supporting the service were kind and smiling. The dishes were good, plentiful and reflected the description received. The bill received normal if you want to eat fresh fish. To be recommended.

15/08/2024: Today for lunch we had lunch at this restaurant: Very shabby location without adequate air conditioning The manager maintained a behavior that was borderline bearable, even though she had good intentions, her temperament left something to be desired and she didn't even notice that several dishes were returned intact. The food was poor, poor quality starters absolutely tasteless cuttlefish ink pasta cooked for at least 20 minutes. Second inedible, the prawns were not fresh and should not even have been offered in my opinion. Very high bill after all...

01/09/2024: The mushroom escalope was a little tough and was completely immersed in the cream sauce. Unfortunately it wasn't an exceptional dish. Overall the prices are really very affordable and the lunch was pleasant.

22/08/2024: The restaurant is located downstairs in one of the most beautiful squares in Ragusa Ibla, a stone's throw from the Duomo. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dishes we tasted are typical Sicilian cuisine. All very good, delicious. In particular, I recommend the baby octopus and the Sicilian tuna. Excellent. True flavors of Sicilian cuisine

20/08/2024: Evening to forget! Very nice location, food okay but not enough to make up for the incompetence of the service. Our kids waited from 8.30pm to 10.45pm to get their food.... upon the third reminder to the waiter I hear him reply: ah but so can we send the dishes forward? We felt cheated! And no gesture of understanding from the owner....€5 discount for waiting. A little advice: less chatting with passers-by, fewer cigarette breaks and more attention to the customer.

08/08/2024: Very bad experience Menu wording: Spaghettone with red prawn, artichokes and shellfish reduction. (In the English translation they specify Tartare) The waitress takes the trouble to point out that the prawn is raw. Unfortunately the dish arrives and does not correspond in any way to what is explained on the card. They feature tagliolini served in a green swamp, fennel seeds everywhere to cover any flavor and on top of it all a handful of raw anemic prawns. No trace of shellfish reduction Gambero Rosso is red shrimp, I don't find it honest to insist on trying to mislead the product, I don't find it correct to present a different format and above all not to communicate the lack of it in the event of a product being sold out. Dish sent back and canceled from the bill The table next to us ordered 3 portions but no one bothered to inform the customer that the dish was not in line with what was written. To err is human to persevere... Best regards

07/08/2024: Terrible, truly terrible. Spaghettoni with red prawn and artichokes with shellfish reduction, the shellfish reduction was completely non-existent, the artichoke puree was a green slop of I don't know what and the red prawn were frozen shrimp. Terrible experience.

14/08/2024: Small restaurant 100 meters from the center of Modica. Definitely above expectations. Simple, local menu...simply GOOD with the flavors of all Sicilian cuisine. No frills service...but very friendly...like being at home! Even if the prices are not indicated (which I recommend doing) they are fair, actually below the centre's average; the quality of the food is excellent. The cook is excellent and a heartfelt thank you to the owner Carmelo who in his simplicity made us feel at home. In short, a highly recommended restaurant even if it is not in the centre. 10/08/2024: Abbiamo trovato casualmente questo ristorante che si è rivelato ottimo. La lista dei vini è eccellente. I piatti tutti appetitosi. Il proprietario che ci ha servito è stato veramente gentile e pronto ad ogni richiesta. Super consigliato.

06/08/2024: We always park there when we are in San vito lo capo and take 2 loungers + 1 parasol. The food there and especially the staff, top... I can only recommend Peppi's Center...

05/08/2024: Poorly maintained place, mediocre food, but above all rude and unprofessional staff, who do not know the basics of hospitality in catering. The bread, which is part of the cover charge, is not served, you have to request it at least four times, but they make you wait at least 20 minutes to serve it at the table, ignoring you anyway, and if you dare to request it they attack you. Bad experience, not recommended.

10/08/2024: Cena con gli amici durante le vacanze estive . Prenotazione alle 22,20 e 50 Min di attesa del tavolo. Ordinazione e gestione del cliente senza arte né parte: é stato sollecitato il pane, cosi come la carta dei vini , cosi come il fatto stesso di poter ordinare. Pizze ordinate ed arrivate, strano, con 45 Min di ritardo. Buone si, ma se sei a digiuno ed è mezzanotte, potrebbe esserlo qualsiasi cosa. Nonostante ciò, ordiniamo i caffè: anche lì c'è stata la difficoltà di consegnarne 7 in contemporanea, in quanto uno " era macchiato e ci vuole tempo per farlo". Piccola chicca: il caffè macchiato non è mai arrivato ma, puntualmente, è stato incluso nel conto. SCONSIGLIATO

06/08/2024: For the last 7-8 years, Sicily has been our family's favourite destination for the summer holidays. We discovered this restaurant on our most recent trip here and were impressed by the lovely and lively atmosphere. Service, food and wine were great, but the highlight of our dinner was the pizza. By far one of the best we ever had in Italy! We personally thanked the young staff who masterfully created our pizza. For sure we will come back!
