04/01/2026: An enchanting place, we stayed there for one night. We had dinner, lunch the next day, and breakfast; we had a wonderful time. They reserved a very welcoming and comfortable chalet for us, the bathroom had recently been renovated and even had a towel warmer. The food service is excellent; Mr. Salvatore, who looked after us, is a very courteous and friendly person. To give you an idea, we sat down at 8:00 PM and got up at 10:00 PM, enjoying everything from appetizers to dessert. I highly recommend it and, of course, we will return. It's a key location, given its rather elevated position. I wanted to point out that they put Coca-Cola directly at the table without even asking, which is something no one ever does.

27/12/2025: The perfect place to unplug, immerse yourself in nature, and enjoy pure relaxation. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, the rooms are exquisite, equipped with every comfort, and they accept pets. The food is excellent. The location is superb for exploring the entire northern slopes of Etna. Overall, everything is top-notch, I'll be back.

11/03/2026: Honestly, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. The feeling of being taken for a ride with an EXCESSIVELY HIGH bill overshadowed the quality of the food, which in some dishes was good. We ordered 1 appetizer, 1 first course, 1 grilled dish, and 1 second course. ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT I HAD BEEN RIPPED OFF. It's a shame I chose it because I saw locals, and normally, if they're there, they're treated well. Instead, the grilled fish was just red mullet and very expensive. The portions were small; I must say the swordfish meatballs were delicious, but not enough for the incredibly high bill. It's a shame I ended up at a restaurant and service that wasn't in keeping with the nice people of Palermo. It's a shame I received this kind of treatment. I'm writing this now because I've reread several negative comments, all about the same things. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPECTED, NOT SCREWED OFF. I speak as a business owner as well as a customer!!

28/10/2025: Friendly welcome, and even though we don't speak Italian and the staff didn't speak English, communication was great! The food, pizza and Italian appetizer, was delicious and more than enough! The house wine was good... we were very satisfied. From 8 pm onwards today, Tuesday, there were a lot of guests... that's always a good sign 😜

09/09/2025: The pizza is amazing!!! I highly recommend it. Communication is in Italian only. Opens at 7:30 PM, although Google says it opens at 5:00 PM.

22/03/2026: The restaurant has a rich history, and being their guest certainly makes for a delicious evening filled with the pleasure of dining. The menu, however, isn't very extensive; some risottos are missing, and more choice would certainly be appreciated. Prices are moderately high, in line with the quality of the fresh fish served, so it's not a place for everyone.

15/03/2026: Unfortunately, the price of the dishes is really too high. Spending €30 for a really small portion of raw shrimp is really too much.

25/12/2025: If we could give a sixth star for the service and atmosphere, we would. Massimiliano's welcome, going above and beyond to find solutions for us, even on Christmas Eve, is fabulous and warm. Thank you for these wonderful memories!

12/11/2025: "Where's the Calamari?" My friend asked me when we ordered the Calamari pasta. This is the best way I can sum up our visit to Ingrid. For €18 it was terrible value and student quality food with barely any Calamari. The waiter told us there was no menu, which I found quite strange, felt like a way to invent a price on the spot and see if people will pay it. Left with with bad vibes from this place. Should have trusted my initial instinct, don't really get the good reviews.

16/11/2025: UNACCEPTABLE!!! The staff was too friendly! From the appetizer to the main course, we ate wonderfully! But the worst part was the wine glass being double the usual size. P.S. I'm saddened to have tried the tuna tartare because I'm sure I'll never taste anything this good again.

09/11/2025: Perfect insalata di mare and polpo con patate. This is really an awsome dish! You need to try it. Great pastas and wine Grillo. Very friendly staff. Very. Nice place to eat and have nice time. Very good grappa and limoncello as the finish.

30/09/2025: Today is Tuesday, and the entrance says "Closed Monday"! There are no other opening hours listed online either. A walk of over a kilometer is in vain!

30/09/2025: Apparently the restaurant doesn't need to update its opening hours online, and then customers find themselves standing in front of a closed door even though it's supposed to be open.

08/01/2026: These days, you'd only find food and service like this in a 3-star restaurant!

03/01/2026: New Year's Eve 2025/2026: Terrible, it was raining inside, €100 per person and supermarket wine, we had to order wine from the menu, kindergarten music. Terrible experience.

04/01/2026: Terrible experience. Bad food, difficult to identify the recipe and ingredients, and very expensive. The only place we've eaten badly after a week in Naples and another in Sicily. The waiters were friendly, but the food was very bad, and the price was exorbitant. They brought us what was supposed to be pasta "a lla norma," but it was clearly "alli pesto," and from a jar. I don't recommend it.

04/03/2026: Very nice place, with very friendly staff and good coffee. I only stopped for breakfast, but it was a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately, they had run out of plant-based milk options, so I couldn't get a cappuccino, but these things happen.

08/07/2025: I really like it here; the condiments and butcher counter are well-stocked and always fresh. The service is very fast despite the large number of customers at certain times of the evening, depending on the season. Mr. Mario is SUPER, always professional and smiling, despite being tired from the workload! Overall, between the service and the quality of the food served, it's definitely one of the FEW sandwich trucks you can always rely on!
