07/04/2026: The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is very simple and comfortable. The pizza selection is truly extensive, which is a positive aspect because it offers a wide selection, but on the other hand, it makes choosing a little difficult and confusing. The pizza dough, however, is truly delicious, light and crispy. They also offer a modest selection of vegan dishes and pizzas. We'll definitely be back.

19/10/2025: The place is cute and perhaps a little basic in its decor, but that's okay. The selection of arancini is varied and good quality, perfectly fried. Good price. In Marzamemi, personal taste, the best.

28/03/2026: Master Pizza prepared by a master pizza chef. Beyond the high-quality ingredients, this is the kind of pizza that's worth a prize. Thin, well-cooked, crispy, and beautifully topped. THE BEST.

15/03/2026: Last night I ordered a pizza (to go) with zucchini WITHOUT SALTED RICOTTA. They made it WITH SALTED RICOTTA AND BASIL. I mentioned it and the pizza chef's assistant said, "It's just a little bit, is that a problem???" Now I wonder, "Why add ingredients you didn't ask for!" That said, they remade the pizza. The pizza chef took it out of the oven and added, "Don't add any toppings to the lady." Honestly, I didn't like the way he presented it, and the pizza (which cost €11) was truly awful. You decide.

22/03/2026: The restaurant has a rich history, and being their guest certainly makes for a delicious evening filled with the pleasure of dining. The menu, however, isn't very extensive; some risottos are missing, and more choice would certainly be appreciated. Prices are moderately high, in line with the quality of the fresh fish served, so it's not a place for everyone.

15/03/2026: Unfortunately, the price of the dishes is really too high. Spending €30 for a really small portion of raw shrimp is really too much.

01/01/2026: Lunch, January 1, 2026 Godiva has an excellent reputation for its creative food and flavorful dishes. Compagnia della Vela with Catering, Godiva Restaurant, confirms the excellent lunch, expertly executed by the staff. The appetizers were excellent, with excellent presentation and flavor, and the arancina and mussels were sublime. First courses: Rice flan with a pea and shrimp sauce was excellent. Ravioli with swordfish roe and clams were excellent. Perfectly cooked. Despite the crowds. The main course was equally delicious. To end the lunch, an excellent cheesecake. Congratulations, until next time.

02/05/2026: A great restaurant in Taormina! The owners and waiters are incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. A big plus is the menu, available in Polish, which makes choosing dishes much easier. Delicious food and excellent service, I highly recommend it!

11/04/2026: The experience was horrible, and definitely very disappointing. At the beginning, the staff did everything they could to convince us to come in and dine at the restaurant, which initially left a good impression. However, things changed after we finished eating. While we were still sitting at the table, continuing to enjoy our drinks and even ordering more, the staff suddenly decided to bring us the bill without us asking for it. They explained that other customers were coming and that we needed to free up the table. This was quite surprising and honestly frustrating, especially considering that the total bill for two people was around €110. It didn’t feel appropriate to be rushed out under those circumstances. I travel a lot across Europe, and I have never experienced something like this before. It left a negative impression despite the decent start.

11/04/2026: We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. At first, the staff were extremely friendly and actively encouraged us to come in, which gave us a good impression. However, things changed completely after we spent around €110 for two people. Even though we were still consuming drinks and had just ordered another round, we were suddenly brought the bill without asking for it and told that they had other reservations. This felt very rude and disrespectful, especially considering that our table was not empty and we were still customers actively spending money. It is unacceptable to rush guests out in this way after encouraging them to dine there in the first place. We did not feel welcome at all in the end, despite having spent a significant amount of money. Very poor treatment and absolutely not the level of service we expected. We will not be returning.

02/03/2026: We entered the restaurant for a simple toasted sandwich. While we waited, the child had sat at one of the tables, but we were immediately asked to let him stand up because they were setting the table. When I asked if he could eat at the table, the owner replied that we would have to pay a cover charge, even if it was just a toasted sandwich. Leaving aside the fact that, after spending €6.50 for a toasted sandwich and four fries, they could have allowed a child to eat there without causing any problems, especially considering it was still 5:00 PM and the restaurant was empty, the thing that bothered me most was the fact that they made him stand up even though it was only for a few minutes. The owner also answered my questions in an unpleasant tone. A little kindness and flexibility wouldn't hurt. We won't be returning.

05/02/2026: I took glovo from Marco's, must say pizza was amazing! Delicious juicy with tomatoes a lot of aromatic fragrances, everything was fresh. That was my little dream to try italian pizza, glad I took it from here, wasn't dissapointed. Good choice👌🏻

03/05/2026: A small convenience store, but with a comprehensive and sufficient selection for basic shopping. The deli/cheese section is very good. The grilled vegetables are excellent. A bit more expensive than a supermarket, but that's to be expected given the location.

27/04/2026: Tuesday 21 April 2026 to Tuesday 28 April 2026 Too far to walk to Supermercato Deco on the mainland this Spring. During six visits we bought six one kiilogramme bags of Barilla brand pasta (four Sedani Regati and two Tortiglioni) at €1.99 each, eight half kiilogramme bags of Garofalo brand pasta (four Radiatori or "Radiators"and four Route or "Wheels") at €1.39 each, four bars of local chocolate as presents at €4 each and three bags of Gocciole chocolate biscuits as presents at €3.89 each. On the last day we also bought several types of Italian cheeses. Tuesday 7 October 2025 to Tuesday 14 October 2025 We visited this small but very well stocked supermarket twice this October. We bought a total of six bags of Gocciole chocolate biscuits at €3.59 each and three different types of Italian cheeses. Tuesday 20 May 2025 to Tuesday 27 May 2025 We only visited once this May, on Monday, and bought only cheese. Salad Ricotta at €3.64 and Smoked Scamorza at €2.90 cost €6.54. Tuesday 26 September 2023 to Tuesday 3 October 2023 We visited on a Saturday morning and just bought a bottle of mandarin liquor at €16 and two half kilogramme bags of Garofalo brand Rigatoni pasta at €1.55 each. Tuesday 9 May 2023 to Tuesday 16 May 2023 We bought ten one kilo bags of Barilla pasta at €1.49 per bag. Three bags of Caserecce, three bags of Tortiglioni, two bags of Rigatoni and two bags of Sedani Rigati. Thank goodness I have room in my suitcase and the 22 kilo Jet2 allowance is more than enough! On our third visit we met the large black and white cat, who was asking to be fed and batted my wife twice. Beware of a hungry cat!. We bought a bottle of Prickly Pear Liquor at €16, a bag of Gocciole chocolate biscuits at €3.69 and three pieces of Italian cheese for a total bill of €27.89. Friday 25 September 2020 to Friday 2 October 2020 A small supermarket with narrow aisles but this is more than compensated by the sheer variety of items available. We bought four one kilo bags of Barilla pasta (two times Casarecce and two times Spaccatelle at €1.35 each) and four half kilo bags of Voiello pasta (Mafalde Corte at €1.45 each). We went back again and bought a bottle of Cannella (cinnamon liqueur) at €9.00 and two bags of Zigari lemon biscuits (made in Sicily) at €3.70 each. On our final visit we bought two types of cheeses that you just can't get in England! The cost was €5 48 but I gave them €5.55 in loose change. I made the staff laugh by saying (in Italian ) "Here is all my change. It is €5.55. I do not need this in the North of England." Sunday 5 May 2019 to Sunday 12 May 2019 I was greeted by a member of staff as we walked in as I was wearing an "Italia" hoody, despite the fact that we are fair and pale skinned English tourists! Once again we bought eight one kilo bags of Barilla pasta (four Cataneselle and four Casarecce) for €1.35 per kilo bag. We went back a second time and bought a bottle of cinnamon liqueur (€9.00) for Christmas! Sunday 8 April 2018 to Sunday 15 April 2018 This is a quite small supermarket with narrow aisles, even by Italian standards. Nevertheless, they seemed well stocked and had some lovely looking fruit and vegetables. We bought eight one kilo bags of Barilla pasta (four Cataneselle and four Casarecce) for €1.35 per kilo bag.

22/02/2026: Casale Marretti is an elegant location both in winter and summer, creating a wonderful atmosphere for those looking to spend a convivial evening with friends, family, or an intimate gathering. It offers excellent cuisine prepared by chefs who prepare delicious dishes using high-quality ingredients, not to mention the pizzas, made with a soft and crispy dough that's easy to digest. This nectar of the gods is a must-try. My thanks go to the host, a kind and welcoming person who puts everyone who enters Casale Marretti at ease. I also thank the attentive and professional table service staff... Casale Marretti... excellent... I recommend it to everyone.

09/02/2026: Very good restaurant, with a magnificent view, very fresh ingredients... a slightly excessive price but the view comes at a price too... and you sometimes have to put up with noisy neighbors (Italians).
