I've been here several times over the years to eat excellent Trapani pizza. In the winter and spring months, it was easy to call and make a reservation. However, for about a week now, no one has answered.

Pizzeria in the historic center of Trapani... the pizza is thick and soft, and topped with quality ingredients... it arrives already sliced ​​with a crescent moon... this pizzeria, founded in 1976, is synonymous with reliability... a must-try...

Amazing taste🥰 I've never eaten better pizza.

An interesting spot in the historic part of Trapani—more of a fast-food joint than a restaurant. Drinks are served in disposable cups and the selection is limited, but the prices are reasonable. We didn't have a reservation and waited no more than 10 minutes for a table, though the line grew significantly later on. The pizza is quite distinctive; it’s worth trying, though it wasn't really to our taste—very greasy and salty, with the anchovies and artichokes overpowering the other ingredients. Still, it is a traditional Trapani-style pizza, so it’s worth a try. Service was fast and welcoming.

Trapani's historic pizzeria has an unusual atmosphere, divided into small rooms. I had a rianata (a typical Trapani dish) with tomato sauce and no anchovies. The pizza was tasty, but in my opinion, the strong garlic aftertaste overpowered everything else. I recommend trying it and visiting the place.

Even though we hadn't booked, they found us a table for two right away. Service was quick. We ordered two small pizzas (€7 each), a Trapani specialty that we loved. Delicious. The atmosphere was unique, like a former brothel. A must-see if you're passing through Trapani. We paid €24 in total for two pizzas, two Cokes, and a cover charge.

The pizza was okay, but not to my taste, as there was too much cheese on it. The staff was friendly.

Want to experience the atmosphere of Sicilian pizza eaten among the locals? This is the perfect place. The thick-crust pizza, cut into small slices, is absolutely delicious. I recommend the simplest one with anchovies. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is unmistakable. Just remember: although the kitchen is bustling with activity, it's best to arrive early if you don't want to get stuck in line—there are plenty of people eager to grab a pie here!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our visit to Pizzeria Calvino was one of the highlights of our stay in Sicily. The pizza was absolutely delicious – made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, perfectly baked, and full of authentic Sicilian flavor. Without a doubt, it was one of the best pizzas we have ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Even though the restaurant was busy, everything was well organized, and the service was fast and professional. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and truly memorable. If you are visiting Trapani, Pizzeria Calvino is a place you simply cannot miss. We highly recommend it to everyone looking for authentic Italian pizza and a wonderful dining experience. The Parma pizza was absolutely amazing! The Parmesan cheese really made all the difference and took the flavor to another level.
