We went to this pizzeria because it was recommended to us. I hadn't read any reviews beforehand, and they were all mixed. I don't know if we were lucky and others were unlucky, but our impressions were overwhelmingly positive. We might not have had a reservation, but they found a table for us. We weren't expecting Neapolitan pizza; we wanted something different, local, and what we got was very good. We ordered a bit too much, but the staff realized we were having trouble finishing it all and, without asking, offered us a takeaway box. The amazing decor – separate rooms for several people – rounded out our positive experience. My only regret is that due to our short stay in Trapani and the restaurant being closed on Tuesdays, we could only try it once.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Atmosphere is relaxing and staff are great. Had a trip into the kitchen and can confirm it's a wood fired oven. Highlight recommended to book as it gets really busy.

A quaint pizzeria, a bit cramped but with plenty of outdoor space. The Trapanese and Rianata pizzas are highly recommended. Excellent ingredients and the pre-sliced ​​dishes are very convenient, allowing you to eat without a knife. Excellent service, with waiters who speak excellent English. Finally, the prices are reasonable. Anyone looking for a pizzeria in Trapani should definitely try it. Reservations are recommended, as it's very popular.

11/06/2026: A paradise of freshness, excellent food, and great prices! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic experience! Marai is located in a beautiful, relaxing, and pleasantly cool location, perfect for unwinding. The food is excellent and the prices are incredibly affordable, an absolute rarity these days. Special mention goes to the staff, who were incredibly kind and super quick to serve us. But the best thing is that you can see their main goal is to make their guests feel good: here, you can stay as long as you want to enjoy the atmosphere, without the worry of being kicked out to free up a table and make more numbers. They don't exploit people in the slightest. If you're looking for a place where you can eat great, spend a fair amount, and experience total peace on the shores of Lake Specchio di Venere, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

10/06/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance and it was a wonderful discovery. It has a truly beautiful terrace overlooking the sea; we watched the sun set right from our table. It's definitely a place to visit in the evening for the view and, of course, for the food.
10/06/2026: Just steps from our accommodation in Macari, we dined on the terrace at sunset, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The service was courteous and smiling, quick and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant, intimate, and charming. The dishes were carefully prepared and presented simply and elegantly, with just the right portions. The busiate pasta with Trapani pesto and the swordfish cutlet were excellent, perfectly crispy until the very last piece. The desserts were delicious. The prices were in line with other restaurants in the area; we paid a fair price for the quality.
