13/01/2025: Terrazza riparata con una vista bellissima. Il personale è cordiale e gentile. Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale con un ottimo antipasto antipasto e due prim davvero strepitosi. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

22/10/2024: Fuori stagione estiva in una ventosa serata ottombrina. Fermi al porto abbia optato per la trattoria per certi versi storica. Ci saremmo aspettati un caldo menù strettamente terroriale ma purtroppo l'abbiamo trovato francamente non adeguato. L'offerta della cantina un po sovrapprezzo, ottimi i dolci, scarsi e cari i secondi (ma più in generale l'intero menù). A Salina l'offerta "giù " scarseggia specie in questo periodo forse vale la pena sportarsi con un taxi per "salire"a Malfa dove ci sono realtà più interessanti e meno "ingessate". Ottimo comunque il servizio e la cortesia dei camerieri che cmq non "spiegano" i piatti

23/03/2025: For the second time in the last year we wanted to eat pizza at botanike. After going on a Saturday for the first time, with poor results which we attributed to the crowds on Saturday evening, another unfortunate choice was the evening of San Giuseppe, with the place always full and therefore really slow service, and not exceptional pizzas. Furthermore, the price of most of the pizzas is really excessive compared to the quality of what is offered.

14/03/2025: So close to being 5 stars!! I really enjoyed my meal here. The ingredients were so fresh and the dishes were packed with flavour. Unfortunately I found certain creams/purées/ingredients added to the dishes, took away the flavour of the fresh fish that was a shame.

05/03/2025: The seafood menu is decent but nothing extraordinary. The raw shrimp were very fresh and served with unique sauces. However, I didn’t appreciate that when they didn’t have change, they kept the extra money for themselves instead of rounding it in the customer’s favor - it didn’t feel very professional.

30/10/2024: Ended up here by chance because it was the weekend and we couldn't find a parking space. Comps means Buddy in German, the staff, I think it was the boss, were extremely friendly and accommodating. We were able to park directly opposite and the sea begins 10 m further. It can't be better. The biggest surprise follows: we ate excellently and for three courses, all of which were excellent (five antipasti, a primo and a secondo), we paid €30. An incredible value for money. The patron's recommendation for the wine was excellent. A wonderful Sicilian Method Classico and then one of the best etno Bianca we got on our vacation. It's a bit out of the way but is highly recommended when visiting Castellamare del Golfo

21/10/2024: Excellent appetizer, adequately seasoned first courses and quality fish. Excellent food accompanied by a breathtaking view. The staff is generous and manages to support you in your choices with a smile and kindness. Super pleasant!

11/04/2025: Finally REAL fish that tastes like the sea, especially the raw ones. I couldn't say about the prices because I was a guest, but the atmosphere and the staff were exceptional and the welcome was... as if we were old friends. But oysters, red shrimp from Mazzara, hairy cizze... not to be forgotten, also served at the right temperature!

04/04/2025: Excellent seafood tavern in the center of Catania. Prices are above average like everything else. I had dinner with some colleagues and we had a great time, we would have preferred a slightly lower price, but in the end given the quality of the food, the location and the service we say it's okay.

02/03/2025: Lunch in company, all 7 of us were satisfied by a very welcoming environment and attention to detail. Exquisite cuisine for both first and second courses, precise and kind service. Well done!

La qualità delle materie prime si sente in ogni boccone, con pesce freschissimo e preparazioni curate nei minimi dettagli. Gli antipasti sono un vero trionfo di sapori, con abbinamenti raffinati e porzioni generose. I primi piatti sono perfettamente equilibrati, con pasta cotta al punto giusto e condimenti che esaltano il gusto del mare senza coprirlo. L’ambiente è elegante e accogliente. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità offerta. Assolutamente consigliato!

27/07/2024: We highly suggest you try this little place. Slightly out of the way (fortunately) from the already central street but at the same time easily reachable. Good cuisine, which mixes tradition with the chef's ideas. The drinks are delicious! Last note, but not least, the service, all very polite, friendly and fast. Must try

12/02/2025: Going beyond my personal preferences, I recommend everything on the menu: there is nothing that isn't objectively good. Everything excellent, always. Staff and environment alike. Very quiet music, and specifically even at a low volume (personally, being able to talk to those at the table with me is important - but today restaurants often drown out voices with too loud music). Another important thing: the prices are normal for high-end restaurants like this; Nonetheless, the portions are fair and plentiful.

22/11/2024: Arredamento del locale antiquato. Ho scelto la tempura come antipasto, ma era una banale frittura in pastella. Ci propongono e presentano una spigola x 2. Il pesce torna nei nostri 2 piatti in pezzetti in ordine sparso. In un ristorante con un minimo di pretese il maitre torna col pesce cotto, lo pulisce davanti i commensali e depone i filetti INTERI nei piatti. Dessert insignifante.

An establishment which could be interesting but which visibly sets its prices at the customer's expense. 125 € for 2 antipasti + 5 pasta dishes + 2 bt water - 1/4 wine and coffee?!?!? Really overkill for this type of establishment. + the final service is really below all! Never again and I won't send anyone there. Playing the One Shot rather than building customer loyalty is a shame and doesn't understand anything!
