Very welcoming place as well as the owner, knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about his work! Excellent food!

I had a delicious dinner here and the staff were very warm and welcoming.

Totally worth visiting! Cool atmosphere, decent wine suggestion, and of course the food. Shrimps appetizer is fabulous; the best shrimps I've tried so far) . We enjoyed the catch of the day (red snapper), traditionally cooked in lemon juice. Super delicious!

One of my all time favourite restaurants. We let the chef do the ordering and were not disappointed.

Very pleasant, whether it's the setting, the waiters, one of whom speaks French! Very very good.

Fresh fish, great welcome and nice wine list

We spent out last evening at La Tavernetta and loved it! The restaurant was situated in a quiet spot on a set of terraced steps near to where we are staying. We had walked past a number of times on our way to the busier streets nearby. Our advice-don’t walk past, stop and experience great food and superb service. The food was fabulous-on the night we had anchovies and carpaccio of beef to start followed by Sicilian-style fish. It was lovely to hear from the owner about his pride in his food. The service and attention to detail made our last night in Taormina very special.

Nice food and atmosphere, a little pricey in some parts but worth exploring.
