Delicious food and great service!

What can I say? If you love good food, especially seafood, you absolutely must try this exceptional restaurant. Excellent food, top-notch wine, friendly staff, and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. But above all, the seafood: truly exquisite!

Very good food and fast/friendly service. The prices are on the high side. €14 for tiramisu, for example, seemed too much to me.

La Tavernetta was the best meal we had in Taormina, in a place with amazing food! Salvatore, the owner puts everything he has into the restaurant and it shows since the experience was excellent. We ordered the octopus, Sicilian style and got the special lobster pasta. He pulled the lobster from the tank and said, “this is yours!” Highly recommended.

One of the best dinners of our trip. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was charming, and the staff made us feel so welcome. We would happily come back again.

Lovely place this - great to see a proper restaurateur running this fish restaurant with aplomb. Welcoming, knowledgeable and top class seafood on offer. Cooked to perfection. Our only criticism was that the service was patchy at times - whilst the owner is superb, some of the other staff were not as accomplished and let the overall level of service down a touch. I'd suggest they get some other staff who are as slick and then this place would be top top. Nonetheless it's a great place and well worth a visit for seafood lovers.
