An elegant and intimate atmosphere, with attention to detail. A blend of tradition and innovation.
Cuisine with traditional ingredients reworked with a modern twist: delicious and exquisite.
The staff is extremely kind and attentive to the customer's needs.
It's a shame we live far away; otherwise, it would be a regular weekly stop.

A gourmet oasis in the middle of Oristano, Ristorante Craf da Banana serves traditional Sardinian cuisine with a modern twist. We were started with an amuse bouche of a spring pea puree topped with tomato and pecorino. Next, a highlight of the restaurant were the appetizer platters—the Antipasti di Terra (Classico della Casa) and Sapori del Mare featured fresh ingredients from land and sea, respectively. The “land” appetizers included beef carpaccio, fried eggplant, donkey meatballs, fried pecorino, sheep stew, fried zucchini blossoms, and tripe. The sea appetizers included tuna carpaccio, bottarga mousse, and several different kinds of fish with different flavorings/marinades. We also got the Tartar di Scottana, minced beef tartare dotted with different sauces.
For our mains, the Muggine alle Brace were two whole grilled mullets; and the Costine Fritte were lightly battered, deep-fried local pork ribs, which had a deliciously fatty consistency. But the most distinctive dish of all was the Su Filindeu, thread-like pastas (unique to Sardinia) served in a creamy, unctuous tomato and cheese sauce. Overall, the execution and presentation of the dishes here were on point, though the portion sizes were small for the prices.

A very professional welcome, lunch served on a white tablecloth in a warm setting. The homemade pasta was delicious, served piping hot and fragrant. Very reasonable price for lunch.

My partner and I are currently on a road trip through Sardinia, sampling the typical dishes at every stop. We can now confidently say that last night's dinner at your restaurant was sublime, a sensory journey from the appetizer of mixed Sardinian specialties, to the first course of su filindeu (a type of pasta), to the heartwarming second course of donkey with lard, concluding with a mouth-watering dessert of su filindeu with chocolate cream and fruit. The staff were incredibly kind and polite, offering us valuable advice on which dishes to choose. The restaurant's vaulted ceilings created a romantic and welcoming atmosphere.
Nothing to add, we recommend it to everyone! Congratulations, Cinzia and Marco.

Delicious! A go-to restaurant when I'm in Oristano. Excellent dishes and welcoming staff. We tried meat dishes, the house appetizers, and two first courses: fregola di casizolu, purpuzza e antunna, and lorighittas with game ragù. The dessert they created was a delight: fried su filindeu with mascarpone and ricotta cream. Exceptional.
