15/06/2025: Zum 1. Mal in der neuen Osteria delle Aie in Castagnito. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, freundlicher und flinker Service. Alle aufgetragenen Speisen schmeckten sehr herrlich, aber die hausgemachte Glace aus Aprikosen ist speziell erwähnenswert, so superfein. Das Haus befindet sich nach wie vor auf einem sehr hohen Niveau zu moderatem Preis. Gratulation an die freundliche Gastgeberin. Weiterhin viel Erfolg wünschen Urs mit Margrit und Christian

09/10/2025: Modern and clean restaurant. Friendly staff. The gluten-free pizza is good—completely acceptable, contrary to other reviews here. You can order it with a clear conscience if you don't have a wide selection of alternatives due to celiac disease. And sure, it's a bit more expensive, but I'm happy to accept that if I can be sure of eating gluten-free.

09/10/2025: Excellent restaurant with fair prices. The staff is always friendly, and the interior is elegant. There's an outdoor terrace, though all tables, both inside and out, overlook the lake.

20/10/2025: The food and service were amazing! We had a little of everything, and they even made a combination antipasto for us that was beyond fantastic. I am at a loss for words on how much we enjoyed it. We will definitely go back the next time we are in the area. This place is a must visit, but make sure to make a reservation!

17/10/2025: Unfortunately, we didn't like this place at all. Worst pizza on our trip to Italy. What we had on our plate had nothing to do with a typical Italian pizza. The ambiance was definitely cozier and more authentic before the renovation. Apparently, no one cared that we were visibly dissatisfied. Poor value for money.

29/09/2025: We went for dinner on a Saturday. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the entire staff is very polite and professional, but without the kind of sophistication that could almost become annoying. The young waitress lacks a bit of experience and might snatch your plates (and leftovers) right from under your nose without asking for approval, but she's smiling and polite, and you can forgive her for it. The savory snacks, appetizers, peach gelato samples, and the house-made pastries were appreciated. The dishes are generally well-prepared and made with carefully selected ingredients. It's a shame about the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, which lacks both flavor and aroma... I was a bit disappointed, to be honest. The meat and vegetables are excellent. Prices are moderately high, but considering the attention to detail mentioned above, they're manageable.

30/10/2025: I celebrated my daughter's 9th birthday and had a great time. The place is suitable for both adults and children. The entertainers are kind and patient with the kids.

14/10/2025: Avoid this restaurant at all costs! Totally unprofessional! We found ourselves standing in front of closed doors this afternoon, even though Google said the restaurant was open. There's no indication on the website that the restaurant is closed today. Can't be reached by phone either!

14/10/2025: I've been to the Grotto St. Anna a few times over the past few years, but each time I felt less hospitable and less welcomed as a guest. The sign on the gate in German stating that only drinks are served with food isn't exactly a welcome – it could certainly be addressed differently. And today, the absolute low point. As always, we walked to the grotto and unfortunately found ourselves in front of a locked gate. Even though Google and the website said it should be open from 12 p.m., we waited in vain for 40 minutes in front of the locked door before heading back. No "closed" sign, no voicemail, no information... and we weren't the only ones; they probably didn't need it.

26/09/2025: Great food,excellent friendly waiters,very attentive. Word of warning the archways are not doorways,just very polished mirrors, we both nearly walked into them.

08/09/2025: Very nice cozy restaurant with good service. The only request: please replace the TORTELLI RIPIENI DI SCAMPO on the menu. It's beautiful presentation, but absolutely not tasty and smells like an old rag. Sorry. But nevertheless, the other dishes were quite tasty and overall we liked the restaurant.

27/10/2025: The location is definitely exceptional, great wine list and at good temperature and prices, the waiter friendly, but not enough to give a good service, to explain the menu you could feel his stress, the menu seemed small to me without daily specials, the seasoning was not so special, especially the vegetables, without any taste, I had higher expectations

23/10/2025: A PHENOMENAL view!!! Unfortunately, the staff was EXTREMELY unfriendly when we said we didn't want a set meal, but just wanted coffee and cake! We were then asked to leave the restaurant and go to the terrace, where we had to pay an additional €21 (!) "service charge" - for whatever reason... So, better enjoy the panorama somewhere else with friendly staff!

13/09/2025: Terrible experience!!! I ordered a Margherita with sour mozzarella and a completely raw carbonara, not to mention the prices and the terrible service, which neither apologized nor tried to fix.

14/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant. We ate at the tables outside and it was great. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely return if I'm in Alba again.

12/10/2025: The location is reminiscent of an old trattoria, but unfortunately, despite the good, well-prepared food, I found it expensive for what it offers. For example, the beef fillet, at €36, seemed excessive for a restaurant that aims to maintain an informal atmosphere.
