11/10/2025: A simple ambiance, but honest, very good food, especially pizza 🍕 and a delicious apple pie made by Grandma. A very friendly, family-friendly atmosphere. You immediately feel welcome, and the team knows their (regular) customers. Excellent value for money. Booking in the evening is definitely recommended (ideally in Italian). Simple but great!

07/10/2025: I've eaten at Waikiki countless times, both for lunch and dinner, as a couple or with friends, and I've always had a great time. I've tried various dishes, and the quality is always high. There's plenty of outdoor seating. Inside, there's a covered terrace with a lovely upstairs dining area. The menu is well-designed: there are various options, but not too many, which ensures that every dish arrives fresh and carefully prepared. Good pizza, tasty meat dishes, and truly delicious desserts. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is always friendly, and the location, right in Melezet, is perfect after a day in the snow or a hike at high altitude. During busy periods, especially in summer, there may be delays, but with a view like this, it's even nice to wait a little longer. I usually make a reservation. A place I always love to return to: recommended.

26/09/2025: Definitely a nice, good, quality restaurant. The fillet steak was exceptional, as was the mashed potatoes. The gnocchi were exquisite! While the slaw and veal with tuna sauce couldn't be said the same, the slaw seemed minced, not hand-grilled, and seasoned with too much lemon. The veal with tuna sauce was nothing special for this type of restaurant. But overall, the service from the girls in the dining room was friendly and attentive. The tiramisu was excellent!

26/11/2025: Right by the lake, so you start with an awesome setting. I enjoyed the the seafood pizza, the Fish Plate and really enjoyed the tiramisu. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere is not fancy, very chill and laid back. A must to visit.

29/10/2025: We only wanted to have a drink at lunchtime, and even though the restaurant was practically empty, we were refused service. We can't understand this at all, because in the off-season, you'd think they'd be happy with so few customers... and drinks are a good source of revenue. Very disappointing! Attached is a picture to illustrate just how empty the restaurant was.

14/12/2025: My aunt's 50th birthday was ruined by nonexistent service. We ordered five starters, but only three arrived: two people stood around watching the others eat, and their dishes were served only after the others had finished. To apologize, they made us wait over half an hour for the mixed fried fish, and when we pointed out the situation, the only response we received was, "You're right," without even an apology. Congratulations! With this attitude, you've lost some regular customers.

14/12/2025: I went for a business dinner with colleagues. I had a great time. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the staff was efficient, qualified, helpful, and courteous. I ate the meat-based menu, but I'd gladly return to try some of the seafood delicacies.

Dishes prepared with quality ingredients, balanced but never banal, with flavors that showcase each ingredient without weighing you down. From appetizer to dessert, everything flows with impeccable gastronomic coherence. The portions are generous, but above all, delicious.

06/12/2025: You couldn't find a more beautiful and welcoming place to stay in Piedmont. Just four rooms, each with a balcony and stunning views of the vineyards. Very reasonably priced for the location and amenities. Absolutely lovely hosts. The food is excellent, and the wine list is a real insider tip.

06/12/2025: Mattia welcomes you with exquisite kindness and a sincere smile. It's an inn I'd return to as often as I could. The dishes are simple yet elegant, and the wines are in keeping with the great terroir that produces them, at extremely fair prices.

20/09/2025: A very nice terrace on the first floor, and very friendly and charming service. The fresh pasta and fish dishes are particularly good. The portions are generous; it's hard to manage three full courses. Ideally, therefore, starters and side dishes are shared. We had the eggplant timbale and the mussels as starters, and both were very aromatic. The kitchen also prepares meat excellently. A particularly positive aspect is that many wines are available by the glass, so you can try more. We enjoyed the hospitality several times.

16/10/2025: I think that were just unlucky this evening, since it seemed like an overall off-night. There might have been more interesting guests consuming wine. Food was okay, but overall underwhelming. Based on the food and service I cannot understand the overall ratings nor the price. We had been at dell'Arco and Petricore the same weekend and this was not even close. But then again, we all have an off-night and we might just have been unlucky. YMMV. 🤷🏻‍♂️

30/09/2025: Our visit to Ventuno in Alba was a truly wonderful experience. The food was outstanding: fresh, creative, and beautifully prepared, the dishes finely balanced and lovingly presented. The wines complemented the dishes perfectly. The hospitality wasn't the main focus, but it was still pleasant enough to round out the visit. Ventuno impresses above all with its excellent cuisine and modern, stylish atmosphere—a place that every food lover should definitely visit.

14/12/2025: In the heart of Alba, we had lunch in a magical osteria, featuring warm colors, checked tablecloths, and thoughtful furnishings that made the atmosphere welcoming and authentic. Lunch began with two delicious appetizers: a mushroom flan wrapped in a velvety fondue and a cheese (similar to tomino) wrapped in bacon... intense and perfectly balanced flavors. For our first course, the Castelmagno gnocchi won us over with their creaminess, while the tajerin with pumpkin cream and sausage offered an explosion of flavor, enveloping and comforting. All accompanied by excellent sips of Nebbiolo, capable of inebriating and perfectly completing the experience. To finish on a sweet note, a delicious hazelnut cake, simple and irresistible. The friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. It's a lunch we'll take home with us and can't wait to repeat.
