07/09/2025: Spectacular location, but that's not the place's merit. Good food, but poor service. Long wait for two coffees, and then they rushed us to leave because they were starting pizza service.

10/08/2025: Excellent food, adequate service. The only drawback was the incorrect bill (an extra bottle of water) and lack of transparency (a bottle of wine was missing from the cellar, replaced with a "sub-brand" one, but the price remained unchanged, not stated on the menu).

04/09/2025: Small restaurant in Turin on August 19, it was recommended to us. Unfortunately, the service is really not up to par. Mineral waters are served quickly with a small appetizer. We then had to wait more than 30 minutes before the order was taken. We are given dry bread while the order arrives. In the meantime, 2 Italian customers had arrived, they were served well after us, very carefully with breadsticks, something we did not have. The dishes arrive, not very generous but very good. Overall, the price paid (no commercial gesture, nothing offered) and the quality of the cuisine do not make up for the deplorable service. We leave without having coffee or dessert. We informed the waiter that the wait time had been very long but no action on his part. In short, disappointed!

02/09/2025: Awesome food, handmade pasta, a nice out of the way spot that we really enjoyed. Great service, and very helpful. The tiramisu was the best I have had. EVER. Everything on the menu looked good.

09/10/2025: Fantastic food and exceptionally good service. You can tell the chef and his wife are passionate about their craft and constantly innovating, without losing their personal connection to their roots. We've been there for the second time, and we were pleasantly surprised again. Highly recommended!

23/06/2025: We stayed in Villa San Carlo as part of an accomodation package with a self guided walking tour in Piemonte. What a wonderful surprise. Carlo was welcoming and informative and asked us if we would like to join him for a banquet that night. Little did we know he is a world renowned chef . We had dietary requirements and Carlo made us a special banquet with printed personalised menus. It was magnificent. The staff were attentive and skilled. The property is lovely and the pool was large, warm and in a lovely garden setting. We love Villa San Carlo.

28/05/2025: This is a well-known restaurant in Turin. As it is listed in the Michelin Guide, it is likely that reservations are very difficult to make. Please make arrangements early. The reservation page is also available in English. I installed software called TheFork on my mobile phone to make reservations at restaurants in Turin, but sometimes the communication was delayed or there was no reply, and the restaurant would tell me that I was not booked. If this happens, you may not be able to have dinner if you make a reservation close to closing time, so please be careful. The following explanation on the reservation page about families with children clearly shows the restaurant's attitude. "Children of all ages are our valued guests However, we kindly ask parents to consider the suitability of attending with their children a dinner that typically lasts about two and a half hours. We do not offer a specific children's menu, but for children under 14 attending the dinner, it is possible to request a selection of dishes from the tasting menu or choose dishes from the menu of our bistro. It is mandatory to inform us of the presence of children at the time of booking to help us create an enjoyable evening for all guests, including our younger ones."

12/09/2025: The pizza was excellent, and the beer is beyond words. I've never had such a good beer. I absolutely recommend trying it at least once.

21/08/2025: Definitely good pizza: properly leavened dough, a soft but not chewy crust, quality ingredients, and perfect cooking. A pleasant confirmation; in fact, I'd even say it's improved from the last time I was there. A casual place with marble tables that I love: they give the experience a touch of yesteryear. There's not a wide selection of beers, but the ones they offer are excellent (the "bianca" stands out, for me). Very friendly staff, lightning-fast service. It's a shame about the location: finding parking is quite difficult. But the pizza deserves a little more patience.

31/08/2025: Excellent cuisine, extremely friendly staff, and a splendid terrace overlooking the lake. It's also very convenient for those like us who decide to reach the village by boat, as there's a free dock available right next door. We ate really well, and it's been a long time since we've found everything so good in a restaurant with somewhat sophisticated cuisine. Ms. Emanuela was incredibly kind and professional! Everything was perfect, highly recommended!

27/08/2025: What a disappointment! Very good, attentive and attentive service, but the food...! A series of simplistic cooking and preparations: not worth the price! €140 for a menu that should have cost no more than €80. A huge problem with the desserts; there simply aren't any! They're ice cream. Several things disappointed us, such as the truffle ravioli: coarse, the sage ice cream, the sabayon, and the "tiramisu" for the "dessert" - not at all balanced in terms of taste. We really didn't like it at all. The work was not at all up to the expected standard. We went there for a birthday and asked for a small gesture for dessert (a simple candle?) that we didn't receive at the time, which disappointed us greatly. A very steep bill for truly disappointing food. We ate better at another restaurant in the same town, just a stone's throw away, for four times less. So yes, the building is beautiful, but that doesn't make up for it at all.

09/09/2025: Unfortunately, the tip was very disappointing. We only got dry bread, no oil, and no pepper or salt. The grilled vegetables were completely unseasoned, and the fries had no sauce. My fish also came without sauce, even though the menu said otherwise. The staff were rather bored and not particularly friendly. I can't recommend this restaurant, and we came here specifically for this. Sorry!

19/09/2025: We come to this pizzeria every week, it feels like home to us. The pizza is amazing, and Mr. Enzo is always the best! He always welcomes us with a smile, and his kindness always sets him apart.

23/09/2025: Disappointing experience - where do we even begin! Asked for still water, got a bottle of fizzy water of the brand “Bolle Stille” (€4). We thought it wasn’t a big deal if the food was ok. Ordered a red prawn carpaccio (€24) as starter, and 2 pastas. Carpaccio was flavourless but smells very fishy (and we’re no stranger to seafood / sashimi / sushi). The 2 pastas (smoked trout €22, vongole €25) were so salty you’d need a kidney dialysis if you finish the whole thing. We kept having bread to clean our palate. Pastas were not freshly made. Price is astonishingly disproportionate to the poor quality of food. Finally, I might overlook the fact that the antipasti was served at the same time as the 2 pastas if they didn’t charge €4 each for service.

20/09/2025: A huge leap in quality! I've been a regular here before, but with the arrival of chef Federico Bigatti, the cuisine has improved even further. The dishes are truly delicious... and the plating is too... (see photo) The owner, Debora, has truly created a beautiful space, small but clean and elegant.
