26/09/2025: Definitely a nice, good, quality restaurant. The fillet steak was exceptional, as was the mashed potatoes. The gnocchi were exquisite! While the slaw and veal with tuna sauce couldn't be said the same, the slaw seemed minced, not hand-grilled, and seasoned with too much lemon. The veal with tuna sauce was nothing special for this type of restaurant. But overall, the service from the girls in the dining room was friendly and attentive. The tiramisu was excellent!

15/11/2025: Dinner with friends; we ate dishes from the menu, not pizza. The fregola with octopus and mussels was delicious. The staff were very kind and helpful.

01/11/2025: The restaurant is spacious and welcoming, decorated in keeping with the local culture. The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The service was attentive and punctual. We ate very well. Among the dishes we ordered: falafel, burek, meatballs, squid, and pumpkin soup. The portions are well-balanced. The yogurt drinks are excellent. Affordable prices. Finally, since we have our dog with us, we appreciated having an inside table. It's definitely worth eating here.

27/10/2025: Ate here this weekend. Joyless food and service. Why be in the restaurant business but be so miserable and uncaring with customers. A smile and some kindness really goes a long way and yet that isn't understood here. Avoid!!!

06/12/2025: A delicious lunch in this elegant setting. Very friendly staff. The cuisine is a true highlight. Dishes prepared with quality ingredients, balanced but never banal, with flavors that showcase each ingredient without weighing you down. From appetizer to dessert, everything flows with impeccable gastronomic coherence. The portions are generous, but above all, delicious.

20/09/2025: A very nice terrace on the first floor, and very friendly and charming service. The fresh pasta and fish dishes are particularly good. The portions are generous; it's hard to manage three full courses. Ideally, therefore, starters and side dishes are shared. We had the eggplant timbale and the mussels as starters, and both were very aromatic. The kitchen also prepares meat excellently. A particularly positive aspect is that many wines are available by the glass, so you can try more. We enjoyed the hospitality several times.

13/09/2025: I stayed at this property for an afternoon at the spa. What can I say? It was immaculately maintained and incredibly relaxing. Truly a gem! The outdoor pool (not heated, but even today, with the overcast sky, it was lovely) has a spectacular view of the Monferrato hills. End the day with a lovely aperitif in the garden. Everything was perfect!

11/09/2025: In general it is a nice hotel with a great restaurant. But there is still room for improvement. The location is a bit off from the hotspots but super quiet with a nice view, garden and architecture. The pool area is nice but one can tell that the adjacent rooms are to be modernized when compared to the stylish hotel and restaurant itself. The wine list is impressive and you should have ld definitely try their own wines. We grabbed a few for our collection at home. The staff is nice, the service super attentive and welcoming. They try to fix everything thar might arise. We stayed a week and enjoyed it a lot. It is also a great place for trips to Asti, Novara, Torino and more. The restaurant has a great quality of products and is super nice interior-wise. The rooms are a bit small, but they have almost everything you need. But there are a few things that we missed or did not like that much. For starters, they had shampoo etc. but no conditioner. That would be an easy win. The air conditioning is a bit weird as you cannot really get below 21 degrees celcius and it seemed to reset to some sort of default settings. This lead to a rather warm climate. Moreover, our air conditioning was pointed towards the bed so we felt the air all the time in bed. Not the ideal setup in my opinion. Another thing we noticed was that the pillows were not ideal. You could put two on top of each other, which would make them to high or only use one which was too low. I know that this is personal preference, but compared to other hotel beds this felt like a miss. On thing we noticed rather late was that our mosquito net at the window was broken at the bottom, which caused an influx of insects unfortunately. And our shower glass wall had a little defect - probably some guest smashed it against a wall or shower hose as the handling requires a bit of "training". The gym is also nice even though finding it wasn't that obvious - maybe set up some signage? And a desinfactant spray or tissue was missing plus a proper indoor bike. The bar has a lot of potential, which I hope the owners see and will lake use of soon. The Internet needs some improvement, but it was working most of the time. The spa is small but nice, but I can imagine that in bad weather or winter the space light be too small for all hotel guest plus day spa guests. But we enjoyed the stay, the warmth and professionalism and if we ever come. Back to the region we will for sure drop in and say hi.

08/10/2025: Great restaurant on the lake with a beautiful view one level on the terrace and one by the lake. Great Italian dishes and wine from local producers. The food was amazing.

16/10/2025: I think that were just unlucky this evening, since it seemed like an overall off-night. There might have been more interesting guests consuming wine. Food was okay, but overall underwhelming. Based on the food and service I cannot understand the overall ratings nor the price. We had been at dell'Arco and Petricore the same weekend and this was not even close. But then again, we all have an off-night and we might just have been unlucky. YMMV. 🤷🏻‍♂️

30/09/2025: Our visit to Ventuno in Alba was a truly wonderful experience. The food was outstanding: fresh, creative, and beautifully prepared, the dishes finely balanced and lovingly presented. The wines complemented the dishes perfectly. The hospitality wasn't the main focus, but it was still pleasant enough to round out the visit. Ventuno impresses above all with its excellent cuisine and modern, stylish atmosphere—a place that every food lover should definitely visit.

14/12/2025: In the heart of Alba, we had lunch in a magical osteria, featuring warm colors, checked tablecloths, and thoughtful furnishings that made the atmosphere welcoming and authentic. Lunch began with two delicious appetizers: a mushroom flan wrapped in a velvety fondue and a cheese (similar to tomino) wrapped in bacon... intense and perfectly balanced flavors. For our first course, the Castelmagno gnocchi won us over with their creaminess, while the tajerin with pumpkin cream and sausage offered an explosion of flavor, enveloping and comforting. All accompanied by excellent sips of Nebbiolo, capable of inebriating and perfectly completing the experience. To finish on a sweet note, a delicious hazelnut cake, simple and irresistible. The friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. It's a lunch we'll take home with us and can't wait to repeat.
