02/11/2025: Delicious, delightful. It was a dreary, rainy afternoon and the restaurant was a good respite from the weather. My husband had the venison ragú over tagliatelle with a blueberry sauce. I had the sea bass with potatoes. Both were delicious. We started with a pumpkin flan which we would recommend. The wait staff were attentive, engaging and put up with our poor attempts at Italian. It was a wonderful afternoon.

I ordered a Prosciutto di Parma pizza and I must say it was extraordinary: light, crispy, and fragrant dough, ultra-fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavors. Every bite is an explosion of flavor! The restaurant at Via Giuseppe Mazzini, 29, Canzo is welcoming and immediately exudes an authentic atmosphere. This isn't just any pizza, but pure art: tradition, passion, and attention to detail that few can match. If you want a pizza that will make you forget all the others, Pizzeria Alba is the number one place. A true legend in Canzo for those who love uncompromising quality and flavor.

19/11/2025: The experience was negative. I couldn't eat the fish first course (paccheri with cuttlefish and tomato) because the pasta was too al dente, the cuttlefish was rubbery, and the sauce was tasteless. The second course (Fassona beef tartare) wasn't tasty at all and didn't pair well with the celery it was served with. The side dish (baked potatoes) was very greasy. The fried calamari and octopus also didn't live up to expectations. All the dishes, in my opinion, lacked salt. The service was rushed and unsympathetic. I wouldn't recommend this place.

21/05/2025: I really feel like recommending this optician for his extraordinary availability and professionalism. I have very high myopia and finding a professional who knows how to deal with this type of need with competence is not always easy. In this case, however, I was followed with great attention from the very first moment. I was made glasses with Tokai 1.76 Biasferiche Lutina fine edge Super USC lenses, a very high level both in technical and aesthetic terms. Despite my significant visual defect, the lenses are incredibly thin, light and elegant in appearance, and the final result went far beyond my expectations. The doctor was able to advise me with great care and patience, answering all my questions and guiding me in the best choice for my needs. His technical expertise, combined with sincere kindness, really make the difference. Thanks again for the excellent service!

15/11/2025: Beautiful restaurant in the Quadrilatero Romano area, in Piazza della Repubblica. The place has a very elegant feel. Upon entering, you're greeted by a pizza oven and a very kind lady who seemed to be the owner. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive throughout the dinner. We had a truly excellent fried fish platter and two pizzas with very light, well-made crusts. The gnocchi with tomato sauce, which my daughter, just over a year old, ate, were also delicious. Parking is very convenient, with plenty of space throughout the square, and the restaurant is in an excellent location, just steps from the historic center. Prices are truly exceptional for this type of restaurant.

23/11/2025: The aperitivo was very meager, consisting only of about 3-4 squares of reheated, half-dry pizza/focaccia per person. No plates, or even napkins, except for the ones in the dispenser. The service was surly and listless. We ordered a toasted sandwich to make up for the shortage, which was also dry and very sad. It's a shame, because the beautiful location and excellent view raise expectations!

29/11/2025: They forced our The Fork reservation to be cancelled so they wouldn't have to pay commission. It's a shame that The Fork allowed us to receive a significant discount by paying with Mastercard. So the restaurant made us revoke the discount and, to "apologize," took away €4 from a €235 dinner!! Shameful. They forced the cancellation with us already at the table, causing damage to The Fork and to us as well. All without any shame. Never again!

28/11/2025: A typical Piedmontese trattoria. We ate wonderfully, from the gran bollito to the bagna cauda, ​​which they also offer in a soft version without garlic, and I must say it was delicious. Attentive and friendly service. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

17/10/2025: Yesterday we went to this restaurant to celebrate a graduation lunch (16 people). We were all satisfied with both the food and the service. The appetizers, first course, second course, and wine were all good quality. The outdoor terrace where we ate was very beautiful. The atmosphere is welcoming and charming. The waitresses were all kind, helpful, and smiling. It was truly a wonderful experience! The downside occurred shortly after we left. We left around 3:30 PM, and it was understandable that the staff was eager to leave, especially since the other tables had all been cleared away for a while. Unfortunately, when I left, I forgot the favor the birthday girl had given me on the table. I called back after 10 minutes to say I'd be back to get it, but the owner immediately told me the waitresses hadn't found anything (they were so quick to inquire!) and if they had, he would have called me back right away (of course, he didn't). IN MY OPINION, RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER SHOULD BE EXTENDED EVEN AFTER PAYMENT (16 people). Personally, I am deeply disappointed by his behavior. With a little more attention, my review would have undoubtedly been a 5-star one.
