30/07/2024: Very good food, super friendly waiter. We came across the restaurant by chance and were greeted in an incredibly friendly and attentive manner by the waiter. Since we were easily recognizable as non-Italians, he spoke to us straight away in very good English and took a lot of time to explain everything to us. The food was so delicious that we booked a table straight away for our penultimate day of vacation so that we could have a delicious and cozy end. Everyone was friendly and the restaurant seemed to be well attended. We would eat here again at any time!

16/07/2024: The site was close to our hotel. It was appreciated that they closed at 3 pm as most bars/restaurants in the area closed at 2-2:30 pm. Fast and correct service. We ordered a pizza and a pista, which were very good, nothing surprising but within a good quality. We were surprised by the price since it seemed quite cheap to us so the value for money is great. We would repeat the site.

29/07/2024: This hotel is the demonstration of how attachment to family tradition can translate into attention to detail. The staff is very friendly, welcomes you with courtesy and provides you with detailed information useful for your stay. If you are traveling by car, the location is very convenient because it is 2 minutes from the center of Stresa where there is a large and convenient car park. If you want to spend some time on the lake, just cross the road, there is an equipped bay where you can sunbathe and swim. The hotel also has private parking. Overall, it is a highly recommended hotel.

01/08/2024: You can't give less than 5 stars.... A place that no one has ever been able to grow but which the two owners have brought to a very high level... The food is fantastic... (compliments to the chef 😋) excellent quality ingredients that make you say it's worth the price 🥰 the breakfasts have various choices so everyone is satisfied... Employees always smiling and efficient. Not to mention the aperitifs... TOP. It's like a second home now. I recommend it 👍🏻

14/07/2024: Had an aperitif a few evenings ago...they have a wide range of gins (which I love), they are competent, they bring many delicious things along with the aperitif, it is located in a cool garden...very nice.....I recommend it for a different evening ... sometimes there is also live music

27/08/2024: I liked the peppered mussels, however the seafood stew didn't satisfy me because it had a lot of tomato sauce which covered the flavor of the basic ingredients (mussels, calamari, prawns, clams and octopus). Prices are cheap if you can book with thefork offers. Microfiltered water from 0.75 3€ Cover charge €3 If I return I will try meat dishes.

26/08/2024: Excellent fish dishes and a good choice of falanghina. I recommend the squid ink linguine with burrata, prawns and chopped pistachios and the peppered mussels! Price suitable for the quality of the raw material!

15/08/2024: Very tasty food, well served with a nice ambience by the lake. Price/performance ratio was good 👍

12/08/2024: The pasta was delicious, as was the Caesar salad. The tiramisu (traditional/pistachio) was a real delight! The presentation of the dishes was very careful, the service pleasant and fast. Great restaurant, I highly recommend!

02/08/2024: Pass me the Salt is truly a special place. The quality of the food is excellent and the context, both professional and human, is excellent. The fresh ingredients and the refined menu make the difference. I entered as a customer and immediately felt part of a familiar and welcoming environment. An experience to try and confirm. A heartfelt thank you to the owners and all the staff for their hospitality and dedication. Absolutely recommended!

25/08/2024: The refined dishes are good, on occasion even simple dishes; the fish is fresh. The desserts are also good (I tasted bunet and crema catalana made to perfection). Fair price.

22/05/2024: Good yes but not worth the trip. This morning we decided to go to Novara for a tour and then take advantage and stop for breakfast here. What can we say for the name of the chef we would have expected a higher quality of both the products and the service. We took 2 cappuccinos, 1 Gianduia brioche and 1 pears and chocolate total 8.50. Cappuccino that wasn't a cappuccino as the foam wasn't whipped correctly so it was a coffee and milk. Good brioches but compared to, for example, Massari or Marchesi we are far behind.

04/05/2024: I went for an aperitif and had dinner once, but I don't like seeing it closed without any sign giving explanations at all. Now I saw on the site that it is closed for the winter period, but the winter period is over... 🤔😡 What a bad image it makes...!!!

27/08/2024: Our first night in Turin and my daughter chose this place on our way to another restaurant! Pizza and Prosecco were delicious. Not sure why others say the waitresses were rude, they were very patient with us and my attempts at speaking Italian!!

25/08/2024: La nostra esperienza in questo locale è andata QUASI BENE (dato che già per indicarci il bagno ci è stata data una indicazione con una risposta molto arrogante.. si erano dimenticati alcuni piatti come pizza arrivata in stra ritardo, acqua dimenticata)...fino a quando, colpo finale che ha per me messo una X sopra a questo ristorante...la proprietaria si è avvicinata al ns tavolo in modo molto arrogante!!! In quanto non eravamo l unico tavolo con persone che fumavano!!!!! "Gli altri sono più furbi che si alzano"...vicino avevamo un tavolo di 2 ragazzi che stavano fumando in quel momento!!!!! In più ci viene citata una legge e poi ci porti il posacenere e ci dici che ora possiamo fumare??? Va bene tutto...ma dopo che sei stata tutta la sera seduta al tavolo di tuoi amici non puoi avvicinarti con quella arroganza!!! Siamo sempre clienti che hanno deciso di consumare nel tuo ristorante in modo educato! Con bambini oltretutto!!! Si potevano dire le cose in un altro modo!!! I camerieri molto educati e gentili, peccato che non si possa dire altrettanto per la proprietaria!!! Ho dato 1 stella per il servizio solo per la sparata della proprietaria!!! Ho dato 2 stelle per l'ambiente in quanto in bagno di soffocava dal caldo!
